You are in good hands with Migration Venture Africa!
I have no other experiences with tourism in Africa in general, nor Tanzania in particular but our travels, guided by Migration Venture Africa, was an unquestioned success. Amos, the manager/owner and his staff of drivers/guides provided a fabulous, tailer-made itinerary for our group. We had unusual objectives including a home stay in the southern highlands around Iringa as well as more conventional lodge and safaris activities in the northern highlands out of Arusha. The logistics and support for these two distinct components of our group's travels were accommodated by flexible itineraries and nimble reaction to unexpected complications. We got to know our main contacts with Migration, our guides Noeli and Denis in the north, very well and I appreciated their high spirits and expertise during both cultural and more typical safaris components of our journey. Both of these talented young men brought a charming and professional atmosphere along with skillful expertise to our vigorous daily activities. All of the Migration Venture guides who helped us with our journey were committed to the enhancement of our experiences while maintaining a constant awareness of potential hazards. Half of our group will not forget the assault by a rouge elephant and the intrepid skill of our guide in avoiding what could have been a very bad situation! Our guides were all a big part of my cherished memories of this wonderful adventure.

The safari was mega nice, the tour operator I would not recommend
We agreed at the time of booking that we would receive a German-speaking guide. As I thought something might go wrong in advance, I reminded them the day before the safari that we wanted a German-speaking guide (as agreed). Unfortunately, an English-speaking guide arrived the next day. When I said that a German-speaking guide had been agreed and I wrote a message again the day before, they tried to organize a German-speaking guide at short notice. However, we waited in the car for 45 minutes. Then we drove towards the parks and picked up the German-speaking guide on the way. We also waited there for almost another hour. We also had a real jalopy. The driver drove the whole time at around 30-40km/h (in and out of town) and we were overtaken by all the cars, even trucks, which of course meant we lost a lot of time on the long drive to the parks and on the intermediate journeys. Then the car also went out several times and we had to wait about 30-45 minutes twice until it started again. The guides (both the English-speaking and the German-speaking ones) didn't really try to tell us anything about the parks, but talked to each other in Suaeli the whole time, which was quite annoying.
When we asked something, we got an answer, but we would have liked to have been told something from time to time. Even at dinner in the evening, while other guides were talking to their guests, our guides preferred to be on their cell phones.
The cars are equipped with walkie-talkies so that all the guides (including those from other providers) can inform each other if an animal is spotted. Our guide's walkie-talkie was broken, so we didn't hear anything. Other guides also all had binoculars with them, but our guide's were broken, he said. Then at the end they weren't happy with the tip as it was split between two people (it's not our fault that we ended up with two guides), then she wanted more, then we got some more (although we weren't happy) and then they didn't even thank us for the tip.
The safari and the parks (Ngorongoro, Serengeti, Lake Manyara and Tarangire) are definitely worth seeing and an experience and we also saw a lot (but so did others from other tour operator too). However, there are a lot of providers, which is why I would recommend another provider (Leo, Tanzanica Specialist, etc.).

Perfect organization
Our 5-day safari in Tanzania was an unforgettable experience! We started in Tarangire National Park, where the majestic baobab trees and numerous giraffes impressed us.
Then we spent three days in different parts of the Serengeti. Thanks to our professional and dedicated guide Noely, we saw the "Big 5" and the "Ugly 5" and hat some special moments with a cheetah hunting, or a cheetah with her babies. Also a highlight was to see the great migration with millions of wildbeests, zebras, and so on..
The lodges all were very comfortable and offered great service! Thanks for that.
Our last day in the Ngorongoro Crater was a highlight, with breathtaking landscapes and diverse wildlife. The entire organization was excellent. We highly recommend this safari!

Dedicated guides and exquisite accommodations
Migration Venture put together a custom trip for us with all of our special requests. We asked for side trips to an orphanage and coffee plantation, and rides to and from various airports. Our trip had a contingent in the south with a Ruaha safari, and a flight to the north to visit the northern parks of Serengeti, Tarangire and Ngorongora. Migration Ventures accommodated everything with really great guides in both places. The accommodations were fabulous. We stayed in some rustic but really classy lodges, again great food and help. The guides communicated well always kept us informed on departures and logistics. They did a great job herding our group of 12. And finally I was impressed with their dedication to finding the animals in the parks. We were totally satisfied.

SAFARI? HABARI!
Just returned from an exciting private Safari with Migration Venture.
Denis is a dynamic young tour guide with an excellent sight able to spot animals from miles...4 on 5 of the bigs!!!
Also from Lake Natron to Olduvai Gorge we could rely on the support of other local guides very knowledgeable regarding flora and fauna copiously present all around us.
Tented accommodations are an absolute must if you truly want to experience the authentic safari, especially in the Serengeti, and game drives quite exciting!
Thank you Migration Venture, I had an incredible birthday celebration!

Amazing experience
The 3 day Mikumi tour was excellent. We had the opportunity to see so many animals thanks to our guide Hussein’s amazing knowledge and skill. He made sure the experience ran smoothly and it really couldn’t have been any better!

Wonderful guides and places to stay
We enjoyed our time with 2 different sets of 2 drivers; one for Ruaha and the other for the parks around Arusha. All four drivers were wonderful and extremely helpful. One saved our lives. In Ruaha our right front wheel bearing broke on the way back to the hotel. The other vehicle returned to pick us up; on the way back a male elephant was in the road; our driver pulled to the side to let him go by until he approached us and started a charge. Our driver backed up faster than the elephant and he soon was not visible on the road. When we resumed our way up the road he charged us from the side (it was planned ambush) but we got past him safely.
Our guides were knowledgeable and helpful at all times . They guided us to good shopping opportunities as well as finding all the animals we had hoped to see.
Most of the hotels were outstanding . However one, Masailand, had terrible beds (We tried 2 different rooms.). The hotel staff were fine; Heart and Soul was outstanding for service.
I can not comment on value for the money as I do not know what the alternatives were. I hate to tip; I wish companies would pay their personnel enough so large tips would not be expected.

amazing safari - highly recommend Joseph Temba as your guide!
My husband and I did a 4 day-safari (tarangire, serengeti, and ngorongoro) and it was amazing!! We were recommended Migration Venture by a friend and are very happy we booked with them. Our guide was incredible - very safe driver and always took us to the best spots (best photo ops as well). We truly enjoyed our time. Our accommodations were clean and the food was incredible.

We had the best time on our safari, our guide josez was really friendly and we saw so many animals
We did the 6 day safari and saw so many animals, up close as well. Tour guide josez was really friendly and helped us spot lots of animals, especially the ones we particularly wanted to see. He was always punctual and accommodating. Food and lodges were really nice, Josez always provided water. Nice vehicle too. Our guide sorted out all our documents in between parks really quickly, so overall a really smooth and enjoyable safari
