Responsive, considerable and reliable tour operator
It was a wonderful family vacation joining the Rochar’s 9 day program including 7 days safari visiting 4 national reservation parks: Masai Mara, Nakuru Lake, Naivasha Lake, Amboseli, and 2 days relaxing on the beautiful white sand beach in Diani, south of Mombasa city.
All of Rochar’s staff were approachable and friendly, especially the tour planner, Isabella. She nicely arranged the trip for us, considering all the details that let us to see the diversity of Kenya. She was super responsive to our messages, always available for any questions or requests. Our driver, Jackson was a very reliable safari driver. We felt safe in his car. If you’re looking for an aggressive driver, who drives the fastest and squeezes into the lines, he’s not your type.
All the hotels were great except one. The shower water heating system of Penety Amboseli Resort shall be replaced for better customer experience. The hotel manger was fully aware of the issue and said they plan to get it replaced (in all rooms) when the current tourism season is over.
A few tips for those traveling for the first time to Kenya:1) public wifi in hotels may not meet your expectations. Consider to bring portable WiFi or use local SIM cards. 2) US dollars work everywhere in the country. However, you may pay more in US dollars than in local currencies. 3) In general, do not walk outside of your hotel after sunset for your security.
Last but not the least, I highly recommend Rochar Africa Expeditions and Isabella to be your travel planner.

Professional, trusted and value for money.
The tour was great, places are natural and outstanding. It was our first trip to this great country, people are good and professional. The tour was tailored in yhe best possible manner. Ambosili was our first love with elephants and other Animals lime Zebras, Giraffe, Deers, Ostrich etc and Naivasha and Nakuru are greener part with Hippo, Rhino, flamingos etc then came the core of our tour Masai Mara which has more than 25% of Kenyan Animals wildebeest migration was a great watch, many families of Lion, cheetas and few leopard along with Wild buffalo seen.
It was a great gamily trip. We got the experience of baloon safari in Masai Mara, Cycling in Naivasha, our professtional driver and Guide Mr David was great. Our tour arrangement was done by Rochar safari. We had a chance to stay in jungle tents in Masai Mara and Ambosili. Isabella and Charles was true professional.
Overall we were satisfied with the beauty and the beast.

Responsive and friendly
Communication with Phinorah was great, she is very responsive and friendly. My parents, sister, husband and 3 children (2, 4 and 6) spent 10 days in Kenya. We enjoyed each excursion, with the hot air balloon ride being our favorite. Drivers were knowledgeable and adaptable to e sure we enjoyed our trip. Accommodations and food exceeded my expectations.

Our guide Jackston is not just a guide; he's a storyteller, a navigator, and a source of endless knowledge about Kenya. Turning our attention to the itinerary, our adventure took us through Nairobi, Amboseli, Tsavo West, Samburu, and back to Nairobi, with accommodations at the Sarova Stanley, Oltukai, Salt Lick, Samburu Intrepids, and the Nairobi Serena Hotel. Reflecting on the overall dining and lodging experiences, Samburu Intrepids stood out as a top-notch lodge.

Our journey with Rochar Africa Expeditions began when we stumbled on 7 day magical safari adventure tour package on Safari Bookings. From the very start, phinorah our tour consultant proved to be an exceptional point of contact, guiding us through the intricate details of our upcoming adventure. Over the course of several weeks we collaborated closely, fine-tuning our itinerary to meet our family's unique needs and desires.
Ultimately, we settled on a seven-day safari experience for our family of five, which included our adventurous 3-year-old and 4 year old which was truly fantastic and unforgettable journey for them
Charles our dedicated driver and host, picked us up from our hotel near the airport His hospitality knew no bounds, particularly when it came to ensuring our children had a remarkable time. He went above and beyond to accommodate their needs, even allowing them to enjoy the panoramic view from the top of the 4x4 land cruiser—an experience they adored.
Opting for the 4x4 land cruiser was a brilliant choice. It provided ample room for the little ones to bounce around and explore, offering them unobstructed views from the windows when they chose to sit down. And, of course, they could gaze out from the top for a superior vantage point to spot animals or enjoy a peaceful nap during the longer drives between parks.
Our safari adventure unfolded over two days in three different parks, masai mara, naivasha and Amboseli national park. and the wildlife encounters exceeded our wildest expectations. We marveled at entire prides of lions, watched herds of majestic elephants, and witnessed the intricate dance of nature unfold before our eyes.
Throughout our journey, the Sopa hotels provided excellent hospitality, and Charles our driver and wildlife expert, proved to be the best host imaginable.
Regarding payment, we opted for the added security of credit card transactions, and Phinorah seamlessly facilitated this process by sending us Pesapal links via email. We paid 50% upfront and the remaining 50% just before our arrival, and we encountered no issues whatsoever.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to phinorah for her exceptional service and a massive shoutout to Charles for taking such excellent care of us. You guys are the best, and our memories of this extraordinary journey will stay with us forever. Thank you!

our September safari to Maasai Mara with Rochar africa expeditions was nothing short of extraordinary. Phinorah from rochar, worked tirelessly to create an itinerary that not only fit my budget but also surpassed my expectations in every way possible.
Our guide, a friendly and knowledgeable expert, played a pivotal role in the safari's success. With a keen eye and in-depth understanding of the local wildlife, he ensured we didn't miss a thing. So Amazing
My wife and I embarked on a remarkable 9-day luxury safari tour meticulously organized by Rochar Africa Expeditions which took us through the stunning landscapes of Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha Lake Nakuru, Amboseli, tsavo east and west.
