Elia was very knowledgeable, he spotted animals that nobody could see and extremely enthusiastic.
Really smooth booking process and excellent communication throughout, even during the safari. We were extremely well looked after. The accommodations within our package were fantastic. I would highly recommend them if you want an amazing safari trip. Our game driver ensured we had the best experience at all times and made it a truly once in a lifetime experience.

Amazing efficient helpful service from day 1

Amazing trip
We booked the Tarangire Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater Tour with Mellivora African Travels. When booking communication was great and the office was great to deal with. I would 100% recommend.
Our guide Jordan was amazing. He gave us a lot of information about the local area and the animals we saw. He made our trip very enjoyable and helped us relax with his safe driving. His knowledge of the animals was outstanding, my wife and I learnt so much on our trip with Jordan.
The lodges we stayed at were amazing, we stayed at Serengeti Safari Lodge and Lions Paw Lodge. Both were clean, comfortable with great food and amazing staff.
100% recommend booking your safaris with Mellivora African Travels. They arranged everything including booking our flights to and from our hotel as well as all of the lodge’s we stayed at. They offered extras during our trip and we did the hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti. Which I would highly recommend and was very well organised

Mellivora African Travels was attentive to our needs and well-organized
Our fly in safari from Zanzibar was great! Everything was well organized and lots of fun. Francisca responded to all our requests and questions quickly and helped us create a safari experience that suited our needs as a family with young children on a budget.
The flight over was very exciting for all of us.
Jafari and Eugenio met us at the landing strip and did a fantastic job as our tour guide and driver and they kept the kids happy. We saw lions, elephants, giraffes, hippos, zebras, crocodiles and so much more.
Breakfast and lunch were both in beautiful scenic locations.
I highly recommend Mellivora African Travels for anyone trying to organize a safari.

Magical tour, expertly organised
Myself and my 2 children did a 3 night / 4 day Safari, organised and provided by Mellivora.
The trip was amazing. We visited Tarangire National Park, spend 2 days in the Serengeti (including a dawn balloon ride on the second day) and finished with a day in the Ngorongoro Crater.
Our guide was polite, courteous and diligent in showing us the best that the reserves had to offer and was very good with my children, making sure that they felt included in everything that we did and the places we visited. He was always on time, from collecting us at the airport when we arrived to being ready to set off each morning during the trip.
The accommodation organised by Fransisca was lovely and she took great care in making sure that this was a magical trip for us.
I would gladly recommend this company.

Well organized and transparent in its communication
It was very easy to communicate with them. They were always available for any kind of questions and also helped me with things that had nothing to do with the safari.
As I still go to university, the price was really high for me, even if I know that a safari can never be cheap. At least they offer the possibility for a budget safari, but maybe they should think of another way to make it possible especially for young travellers to save some more money.
I did the tour during the rain season, but was lucky enough to pick some sunny days. I would say that the rain season has some advantages too (zebra migration, less tourists e.g.), but obviously it's also kinda risky.
I cannot complain about the tour operator, but I also have no possibility to compare it with others, as it was my first safari and I usually never do that kind of organized trips. So it's difficult for me to rate it.

HAD OUR BEST EXPERIENCE
We had a 4 days safari and what else could we say our experience was one of the best Mellivora African Travels with the help of Fransisca made our tour unforgettable. She arranged everything for us that when we reached there everything was organized and simple and we had no need to worry about anything. Our driver Jordan gave us everything we needed and took care of us. He was like a family that the last day we didn't want to let him go. Jordan knew alot about animals and he made sure we saw the big five also a lot of other animals, accomodations picked where great,comfortable and cozy I and my wife loved them so much. We 100% recommend Mellivora African Travels to people who want to make there experience memorable and without hesitation they are going to give you the best. When we are back for a trip in Tanzania I will travel with them again.

A memorable experience with my family
Mellivora African Travels offered us me and my husband a 5 days safari, we really enjoyed the safari and how everything was made easy for us from communication to the booking. Fransisca was fast and easy to get to anytime we emailed and got in contact she would be there to respond. Our guide Efata was amazing he knew about nature and gave us a wonderful experience and we saw a lot of animals. Accommodation offered was amazing and everything about the tour was memorable we loved everything about it. Whenever Fransisca is there to serve you just be sure everything will be fine and hope for the great adventure. I recommend Mellivora African Travels for anyone hoping to get a great experience.
