Top notch service with affordable prices
We looked into several different travel coordinators to plan our trip to South Africa, and Discover Africa not only had great customer service, but the best prices. We thought the pricing would mean the places weren't as nice as other options, but this was by far the most luxe trip we've ever been on. Diane was so helpful in the process, even jumping on a video call with us to finalize the details.
We had the trip of a lifetime and wouldn't have been able to do it without Discover Africa!

Communication was excellent, Susan knew her stuff and provided a wealth of information.
I found my experience with Discover Africa Safaris to be a very pleasant one. I took a 5 night Maasai Mara safari in Kenya. Communication was first class from the get go, my questions were answered quickly and precisely, with lots of information available. Pick up from my Nairobi hotel to my destination in the Maasai Mara and return went perfectly. The tour itself was superb with the Great Migration just commencing and animals everywhere!! It was a once in a lifetime safari! Would thoroughly recommend to every traveler.

From start to finish Lana was very helpful and easy to communicate with during the booking process. While on the holiday she or a colleague were always there on hand to quickly manage any queries or needs.

Luxury Service for Affordable Travel
Incredible value and superior expert advice and service by Discover Africa and our agent CHRIZAAN. Our interests, budget, needs, style and circumstances were factored into the crafting of a super unique and exotic itinerary. We did a self drive in Namibia. We felt safe and supported every step of the way. The Accomodations Chrizaan picked for us exceeded our expectations. It was a wise choice to travel Namibia at first and then finish it off at Sabi Sands Arathusa lodge for viewing the big 5 and many more animals. Namibia’s self drive itinerary was totally mind blowing! Gorgeous landscapes every step of the way. Serene and divine vistas. Already thinking about my next African trip, and will only do it with this company.

Comprehensive luxury safari planner

Friends of ours worked with Susan at Discover Africa to arrange our trip.
We visited Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengetti, and Masaai Mara.
The accomodations were all very pleasant, and the service, both at the accommodations and on our safari drives were all wonderful. The food was great.
And, we saw so many animals (and, so many other tourists seeing so many animals!).

Amazing, so well coordinated. Everyone very friendly. One of our best trips ever.
We had an amazing time visiting Namibia and South Africa. Our 15 day journey was packed with lots of adventure. Everything to accommodations, transportation by ground and air, excursions, dinner and lunches. Our tour guide/ driver NICO was so awesome. He spent 9 days with us and was amazing. Not to forget Megan who helped put our custom package together. Thank you for everything Megan and Nico did for us.
I hope one day to visit another place in Africa one day. I will definitely use this company again!!!

An easy and attentive booking process.
I was a little nervous getting into booking our recent Africa trip, as we were looking at the more expensive end (at our stage of life, we've earned a little comfort!) and fairly large numbers were involved. Regular contact with the same person is something I value in transactions. Matthys van Aswegen proved to be an excellent contact, personable and patient with my many enquiries. The booking and payment process is clear, but it was the suggestions and recommendations that I particularly valued. Having transfers prebooked also adds to peace of mind. I look forward to using Discover Africa again for our next safari (yes, the Africa bug has bitten!) and recommend them unreservedly.
