Awful operating company, amazing tour guide
Let me start on the safari guide that took us around, Mike from Karava Brothers Safari. Absolutely amazing, his knowledge on animals was insane, he found cheetahs, lions and other amazing animals on his own without the use of the radio and utilised the radio to help us see every animal available. A lovely man who I cannot recommend highly enough, I will give his details to friends and family.
However, the safari operator whom I dealt with was appalling. My communication with Mercy Yetu Safaris began months before and we had an itenary arranged and paid for 6 months prior. A week before going away I informed the company where we were staying and got no reply for a couple of days. This was very unusual so I did a bit of research and found their website was out of use, and their page on the safari comparison company was out of use. None of the numbers given were working and there was no reply to any emails. I called the safari comparison site whom I found them on who emailed them. All of a sudden I got a reply to my emails with the Mercy Yetu claiming they'd gone into their spam, very convenient when I was getting replies daily a couple of months prior. The days before my safari were a complete stress as it had appeared the company had forgotten about my safari which was confirmed when I found out they had booked everything 3 days prior to our arrival despite us booking months in advance. I thought the trouble would end on our arrival however it continued. We had paid for flights and the company weren't sending us out tickets, after an absolute slog of back and forths we eventually managed to get the tickets late at night when we had a flight at 8am, shocking. Finally I thought this was the end of the stress but again, the return flight which we'd paid for experienced the same issues with the company not sending us the email with the booking code making check in impossible, a couple of hours before the flight I was sent the code by WhatsApp to end what was supposed to be a good day but turned into a stressful day due to Mercy Yetu's incompetence and lack organisation. To make matters even worse a couple of days before the end of the safari, despite being told we would be with our guide until day 7 we were merged with another group and said goodbye to our guide whom we had built such a bond with, we were told we had to pay $300 to keep him despite being told we'd have him till the last, they claimed it was because they were over budget, again lack of organisation.
I would strongly advise against anyone booking with this company to avoid the stressed we went through

Efficient and re assuring, answered all my silly questions.
Had the most remarkable 'dream come true' time with Mercy Yetu safari. Our guide/driver Burton, was knowledgable, patient, kind, oh so efficient, and with a great sense of humour. As an older Aussie, (76 yr solo female😄) his courtesy and consideration was much appreciated. As for our cook.. I called him Master Chef. He made really good meals for our group. Can give 5 star recommendation!!

Once in a lifetime experience!
My safari was organised by Philipina and communications was fantastic. I could contact her at any time and she was there to answer any queries. The whole trip ran smoothly. The driver we had was also excellent and made it his mission for us to see the Big 5. I would definitely recommend Mercy Yetu to others considering a safari.

Luxury Camp Became Ordinary Camp
Our contract says we stay in Matawi Serengeti Camp in Serengeti, however, when our driver took us to this hotel, the hotel manager said we did not book it. After 3 hours contacting the travel agency, we had to move to Kenzan Tented Camp at 9 p.m., which was horrible sitting in a car in a dark wilderness for an hour. Matawi Serengeti Camp is a very luxury camp, but Kenzan Tented Camp is just a 3-star camp. However, the travel agency said these hotels were the same and refused to compensate even if I showed the rating of the hotels.
Moreover, our car's brakes did not work and we hit a cow. Luckily we did not hurt, but we did not know about the cow because the driver did not stop.

Super knowledgeable guides and custom tours
We picked Mercy Yetu because they were the only company willing to do a custom Safari for our family and they had competitive prices and good reviews. We were overall extremely impressed with the knowledge of our driver, Saidi. Saidi appeared to be known among the other Safari drivers as one of the best. He knew the big game animals of course and was excellent at spotting them, he also knew all the birds and plants as well, the number of different animals species in the various parks, ecology, etc. there really wasn’t anything he didn’t know.
The itinerary was great, and the lodging excellent.
We also booked a private driver through them- Donald, to take us near Dodoma. He was an amazing driver for this long 8 hour journey.
Peter, who does the booking, was always in contact to make sure the trip was going well.
Really, you cannot go wrong with this company. They are the best.

Peeter Meela needs a promotion because he is the best!
Our experience with this company has been absolutely amazing. We have literally no complaints. They are so organized, accommodating, and friendly. We had a last minute change that needed to be handled since I made a mistake on my end, and it was handled with absolute ease. The safari experience was a one in a lifetime experience at the absolute best price you’ll find for what you get. Our driver Mike for the safari was the best and helped us gain the best experience. We saw EVERYTHING we wanted to including the great migration. Our contact person Peeter Meela is the best. He is so responsive, attentive, and resourceful. He messaged me throughout my trip to make sure everything was going as planned and even helped me with resources for when I traveled to Zanzibar. We highly recommend as they made our experience in Tanzania an unforgettable one.

We contacted the operator last minute and they provided. The guides Chaz and Eli were top, friendly, helpful, kind and knowledgeable. We were provided with all the equipment and amenities we had not been able to prepare for. Just a joy.

Unforgettable Family Safari Adventure
Let me tell you, this team totally knocked it out of the park for our family vacation. Seven days exploring the Tarangire, Serengetti and Crater Ngorongoro felt like a dream come true. Peter, our coordinator, was an absolute gem, making sure every little detail was taken care of. The guides were like old pals, sharing their wisdom and showing us the most incredible wildlife. We'll be talking about this trip for years to come! Never get worried with this company they made it possible for us

Excellent service, thank you very much
Despite our challenges with climbing and our limited English skills, the journey was really exciting. With our guide, Frank, who has been doing this for 25 years, we climbed Mount Kilimanjaro together. Even though we struggled sometimes, Frank's encouraging songs, like "Hakuna Matata," kept us going and made the climb feel fun.
After coming down from the mountain, the team helping us plan our trip made everything easy. They were so friendly and helped us explore the Serengeti and Ngorongoro, where we saw amazing animals like lions and giraffes. It was like being in a movie!
One of the best parts was visiting Materuni. Even though we didn't speak much English, the locals were so kind and welcoming. We got to try delicious coffee and learn about their culture. It was a peaceful break after our adventures.
The team who organized our trip made sure everything went smoothly, even though we were beginners. They really cared about making our experience unforgettable. We're so grateful for their kindness and expertise.

PEAK PERFECTION: KILIMANJARO CLIMB AND SAFARI BLISS
The safari was a display of natural wonders. Accompanied by a well experienced guide, nice accomodation inside the park, meeting animals new in my life in their habitat, specifically Ngorongoro Crater. Every sighting was a lesson in wildlife history, making this an unforgettable experience. I positive recommend for best price safaris
Embarking on the 8-Day Lemosho Route Climb to Mount Kilimanjaro followed by 5 days of exploring Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire National Parks was an absolute dream come true. The trek to Kilimanjaro's summit offered breathtaking views and a sense of accomplishment. The safari days were equally mesmerizing, with close encounters with wildlife and stunning landscapes. What made this journey even more special was the easy and friendly communication with Peter through WhatsApp. His updates and prompt responses ensured a smooth experience from start to finish. Peter's warmth and efficiency added a personal touch, making the entire adventure feel like exploring Tanzania with a trusted friend. The hiking experience on the Lemosho Route was particularly memorable, as the challenging sections were strengthened by the Barank Wall, also aptly named the Breakfast Wall. Overcoming this obstacle added an extra layer of achievement to the climb, making it a truly unforgettable adventure. Highly recommended for both the breathtaking landscapes, personalized service, and the unique challenges that make the journey even more rewarding.
