An amazing tour operator helped us fulfill our dream trip
This is a very reliable tour operator. Faraja listened carefully to my needs in the early stages and helped me create an itinerary that perfectly matched those needs. Our guide, Adrian, was the best; he had excellent driving skills, was highly professional, and quickly helped us find the animals we wanted to see!

An amazing experience, in the truly “Hakuna Matata”-spirit
We’ve enjoyed the 8 days Great Migration-safari. Our first safari experience, that exceeded our expectations since we have seen all The Big Five animals.
One of the highlights of the trip was the crossing of the animals of the Mara River in the North of Serengeti. If you have enough time, it’s totally worth it to make the detour.
Our holiday started out with a bummer, because our luggage had not arrived. Faraja and our guide Gilbert have done a lot of effort to keep in touch with the Lost and found-department of the airport. They made sure that the bags were delivered to us, which was very much appreciated.
All communication with the agency via Whatsapp was clear and friendly, all timings were respected.
About our guide Gilbert: he has done a maximal effort to make us spot as many animals as possible. He’s a really nice guy to spend many hours in the car with. (Both in English and French)
Concerning hotels and meals: also no complaints at all. Diners in the hotels were nice and well arranged, as well as the lunchboxes prepared to take on our daily adventures.
Certainly this has been a holiday never to forget!

Unforgettable experience
We’ve done the 8 days Great Migration-Safari with Gilbert as our guide.
We’re very pleased about the communication with the agency via Whatsapp during our trip. Timings were clear and respected at all times. Hotels were comfortable.
We’ve had the time of our life, spotting all The Big Five-animals, including a baby lion and a baby leopard.
Thanks to our guide Gilbert, a very sociable person to hang around with during our trips. He shares some facts and figures about the animals on the safari, and he always tries to go an extra mile to spot as many animals as possible.

My tour operator was incredible.
When I found Full Package Adventures and communicating with them, I knew I was in great hands. Faraja was extremely informative and very responsive to every question I had. We were lucky enough to get Yahaya, our safari driver/tour guide. He exceeded our expectations as his driving skills were excellent and his safari knowledge was great. If you manage to book with him as your driver/guide, I’m certain you won’t be disappointed. This tour was worth every penny and the experience will stay with us for life.

Amazing trip
Booked this trip well in advance to celebrate my 60th with a friend. The itinerary was Tarangire NP (staying 1 night Farm of Dreams Lodge in Karatu) Serengeti NP (staying 2 nights Safari view Luxury Camp) Ngorongoro Crater (1 night at Farm of Dreams, Karatu again) Manyara NP and Arusha NP (staying 2 night Gold Crest Hotel in Arusha city.
We flew into Arusha airport from Zanzibar where we had been spending a few days relaxing before our epic adventure began. This was my friend's first time visiting sub Saharan Africa so he was very excited.
We were met at the airport by Max our driver and guide went to pick up a few supplies and visit ATM and off to Tarangire NP where we saw the amazing Baobab trees and our first Lions and Elephants. It was a fantastic first day. Fram of Dreams Lodge was a really nice and comfortable hotel with excellent dinner option. Staff were friendly and extremely welcoming.
The next day was my 60th and its the epic (and I mean epic) journey to The Serengeti, we go through the Ngorongoro highlands and across bumpy roads stopping at a Maasi village before reaching the park where we stop for a picnic lunch watched over by a nearby male Lion (totally safe but so exciting). Our first proper sighting is after around 30 mins when Max suddenly heads off into the middle of nowhere where we find a coalition of 3 Cheetah brothers (one of my fav animals, what a great birthday gift) they have just finished a kill and have blood etc over their faces.
We head towards our camp but unfortunately these roads are just awful and our jeep breaks down (all part of the adventure of Africa) we manage to get a ride to our camp but poor Max is stuck for hours missing dinner and sleep which we feel bad about cos he worked so hard.
The staff baked a birthday cake and sang for my 60th it was lovely......the camp and tent was huge with toilet and shower. I slept so well tht night but we did hear something outside our tent, we didnt know if it was lions or hyena but it was something big. You are not allowed outside with requesting an escort at night.
The next morning we were up bright and early (so was Max after getting in so late following the jeeps breakdown). Today we were going after the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebra to be surrounded by 10s of 1000s of these animals is something to be experienced. Suddenly we are off, Max knows something (we are convinced he is part eagle or something lol). We arrived not far from the edge of the herd to find a group of jeeps and there right in front of us are 2 Lioness and they have just taken down a wildebeest and are tearing into it (this is nature, this is how it works, its not for the squeamish). One of the lioness gets up and walks right upto our jeep, its so close that I cant even get a pic as I have my zoom lens on and its too close to get a pic......I just gasp, I could have reached out and touched her. All through the trip I had told Max that although I had seen Leopard in Asia they had never been great sightings....they are such difficult animals to spot (spot....literally) their spot camouflage them really well. We had a near miss the day before when one was hiding near us but we just couldnt see it......sometime this happens with nature and you have to accept it no matter how disappointing.
Max goes off on one of his missions and figure something might be going on as we get nearer he tells me he's heard there is a leopard around, I dont want to get my hopes up but I feel lucky. Then we see the jeeps gathered and in a tree fast asleep a beautiful male leopard and want to cry but grab my camera and take 100s of pics. He wakes up looks directly at me and yawns so I get a shot right down his throat. This is easily the best leopard sighting I could kiss Max!!!!!!! I get my shots and we leave the beautiful male in piece!
All too soon its our final day in the Serengeti and on our way out of camp just mins away from our tents we come across 5 lioness stalking for breakfast in the dawn light.
The only thing I would change about my trip is I would have spent an extra day or 2 in the Serengeti......its just beautiful......I WILL BE BACK one day!
Next it was onto the Ngorongoro crater which was just stunning although a little chilly which I wasnt expecting but so beautiful and full of wildlife.
Manyara NP has amazing birdlife we also get so close to a huge male Elephant in Manyara tht we have to hold our breath.
Arusha NP is completely different to the other NP with some beautiful rare endangered monkeys.
I highly recommend Full Package Adventures they arrange exactly the itinerary I wanted in the order I wanted. The price was excellent value for money. The quality of accommodation was excellent (we went for a mid range private tour). The price included all food, accommodation, park entry fees, jeep and drive/guide......drinks and tips were extra and please tip your guides they work so hard!
Finally our guide Max was amazing he was great company and fun to be around. His spotting skills were just incredible and he went out of his way to make sure tht we were having a good time. I will never forget my time in the National Parks of Tanzania and cant wait to return
