The big 9!
We travelled on a Safari trip for our honeymoon with Savannah Explorers and it was absolutely amazing. Everything about the 4 day trip was incredible. Our guide, Jackson, was so knowledgeable, professional, kind, and friendly & he brought us on an incredible trip to Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater. We saw all the big 5 plus much more (we actually saw the big 9!) often super close, we were lucky enough to see a 1 month old baby elephant with its herd only 5 meters from the car! - it was so special and we will remember this trip forever. 5/5 would recommend, our expectations were blown away! Also everywhere we stayed was so nice along the way! Thanks so much Jackson & everyone at Savannah Explorers!

Trustable, careful and experiential tour operator
We organized our honeymoon Safari with Savannah Explorers and I'm not scared to say we had the best time of our life. "Gran Safari" program has been amazing, visiting all the major parks we had the chance to see all the animals. Also thanks to the best guide ever Daniel ("Dani"), very careful, trustable and with lot of experience. The timetable has been respected and everything was magical. All the lodges and tented camp were comfortable, safe and with European standard. Thanks for make our travel a dream!

Amazing Experience. Our guide Evaresti, was very kind and expert about the park and animals. We watched many animals and visited many incredible spot of the park. He also speaks a perfect italian!!

Fantastic
Me and my husband we were guided by John to discover the Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro parks. The safari was unforgettable thanks above all to John's experience who was able to find fantastic views and scenes wildelife of the animals! The safari certainly exceeded our expectations and was like immersing ourselves in a documentary. The facilities we stayed in (Kifaru Tented Camp and Ngorongoro Marera Mountain Lodge) are of the highest standard, the staff have always been kind and welcoming to us making us feel at home at all times.

Samuel best guide in Tanzania!
everything was perfect. every trip was organized in a punctual manner, with the extreme availability of our guide Samuel.
our needs and well-being always came first place.
we visited tarangire, lake manyara and ngorongoro. they were all wonderful and Samuel made every effort to find even the hardest to find animals so that we could have a unique experience.very high level of structures and organisation.
Samuel wonderful and very professional person.
we did a private tour in Italian, I recommend it!

Unbelievable experience
We did a 5 day safari in Tanzania (visiting Tarangire, Northern and Central Serengeti, Ngorongoro) and it was a unique experience. Our guide Semle with his experience in the field definitely helped us to catch the big 5 very quickly. The accommodations were really good, beyond our expectations. Really high standard, all the comforts and most importantly, they were clean and the food was really good. The agency also supported us in our second part of the holiday in Zanzibar and managed to book us transfers from the airport and a great hotel in Matemwe (Villa Kiva). Once again the accommodation exceeded our expectations for the view, cleanliness, service and food.
We give 4 stars instead of 5 for 2 main reasons:
1) the trip was already very expensive (yes, and we knew it!) however, tips were āmandatoryā every day as stated in a document from the agency 10 ā¬ per person per day. We are always happy to help but the agency should not force customers to give mandatory tips considering the overall cost.
2) the flight to Zanzibar was booked in the late afternoon so we lost 1 day of vacation with our guide going shopping (because we had nothing to do) and then he took us to the airport 3 hours early which was more than enough. We would have preferred a morning or mid-day flight.
Overall we are very satisfied with our vacation and Savannah Explorers is a reliable provider that we highly recommend ;)

A Perfect Safari
Our safari with Savannah Explorers exceeded our expectations and we could not have wished for a better guide/driver than Daudi, his knowledge and enthusiasm were infectious and he was the icing on the cake of our five days exploring the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater. As two female travellers we always felt 100% safe with Daudi, his driving was excellent as was his ability to spot animals and provide information on them and the environment. The lodges we stayed in were also amazing, particularly Kubo Kubo tented lodge. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Daudi and Savannah Explorers
