Very professional, experienced and hearty operator, everything is well planed.
I think we are very lucky and grateful by choosing Discover Africa Safari for our first safari trip in Kenya, even in Africa.
The itinerary is very well balanced, scheduled and organized. We get to explore the different aspects and experienced different dimensions of Kenya, including local culture and rhino tracking of Rhino Saruni , breathtaking views and luxurious stay of Samburu Saruni, and of course the wild animals with very experienced guides. We often WOW and lots of things are beyond our expectation.
Susan, I can't thank you enough. It was definitely one of the most memorable travel we had. Thank you!

Very accommodating and great at communicating in a timely manner
Our party of seven had a great time on our trip to Africa. All the accommodations, tours and travel connections were terrific. We left for Africa on a Tuesday and 13 days later arrived back home and never had to worry about anything. The itinerary was varied and everything was enjoyable.

Planning the Perfect Safari Vacation
Our vacation planner (Megan Warrington) listened to our requests from the outset. She made great suggestions regarding the timing, guided us through the selection of the hotels/lodges and activities and created the absolutely perfect vacation for us. She was in constant contact with us throughout the process and guided us through every aspect of our trip from travel, visas, transfers, packing, tipping, etc. Nothing was left to chance. And during our trip, she provided personal contact information in case we encountered any glitches. When we experienced a minor problem (room assignment at one of the lodges), she was there to correct the issue immediately.
Megan custom-tailored the perfect vacation specific to our needs and we couldn't be happier with our trip.

Megan, at Discover Africa, planned the perfect trip for us and at a good value. The itinerary was personalized for where & when we wanted to go, what we wanted to see, and how long we wanted to stay. The lodges she recommended were fantastic! (Victoria & Alfred in Cape Town, Arathusa Safari Lodge in Sabi Sands, South Africa, Victoria Falls Lodge in Zimbabwe & Chobe Safari Lodge in Botswana) She arranged all the transfers between countries, lodges, and activities. The safari drives, sunset boat cruises, Victoria Falls tour, drum show, and private boat tours were amazing and everything ran smoothly. We saw so many animals and beautiful sites. It was truly a trip of a lifetime. Thank you Megan for answering our many questions, keeping us informed, not only throughout the planning process, but as we got closer to the trip & throughout our journey. Accommodation was as described. She made sure to reserve one location so that we didn’t lose out which was nice. Threw in a full city tour as part of the package.
Both safari tours were exciting with brilliant guide and drivers. Fantastic experience.
My Mum and I enjoyed the care given at both accommodation. Nothing was too small for them as my mum was using a walking stick. They made sure she enjoyed every single trip lifting her even if it was needed. I can’t thank them enough.
The food was OMG fantastic and the rooms and views were superb!

Adelle, our travel coordinator with Discover Africa, took care of every single detail of our wonderful trip! We started planning 14 months out and Adelle took care of everything all the while keeping us notified and being 100% available for questions. We had a seamless experiences full of personal touches and left with memories for a lifetime.
Our experience with Discover Africa was excellent from start to finish. Susan was our travel coordinator and we could not have asked for more - she was engaged from the beginning, took all of our personal interests in our bookings into account, and put together a wonderful itinerary for us. When there was a hiccup in the finalization of bookings due to a computer system issue (no fault of Discover Africa) it was no problem, as Susan had alternate bookings on hold that we were able to secure - bookings that ended up being our favorites on the whole trip! We explored Cape Town, Botswana, and Namibia, and had absolutely wonderful experiences along the way. Throughout multiple flights, bush flights, and car rentals we had zero issues and everything went off without a hitch, and Susan checked it along the way to make sure everything was going smoothly and we were enjoying our travels. As we were on our honeymoon, we were treated to some pre-arranged unexpected surprises during our bookings along the way that made the experience even more memorable. I would absolutely recommend Discover Africa to anybody and will certainly be using them again in the future.

Another perfect adventure with Discover Africa
This was my second visit to Kruger National Park, and once again, Discover Africa organized an exceptional experience. I stayed at three different private game reserves, each offering a unique charm. The seamless transfers between parks were stress-free, allowing me to fully enjoy the journey. From the warm greetings by staff upon arrival to the luxurious accommodations, delectable food, and top-notch amenities, everything exceeded my expectations. However, the highlight was undoubtedly the game drives, where I witnessed breathtaking wildlife in their natural habitat. I truly felt pampered and cared for throughout my stay. I didn’t want for anything during this remarkable adventure.

Matthys van Aswegen has arranged three fabulous trips for me!!
I have just returned from my third visit to my favorite safari camps in Botswana. Each time I have taken a different friend with me. I always tell them that Matthys van Aswegen is a master at organizing my trips, but it's not until they actually go with me that they realize I am not exaggerating! Every detail is addressed and any special requests I may have are always achieved. The very best part of this trip was that I actually got to meet Matthys and his dear wife, Leri, while I was in Cape Town. I was so happy to finally have the chance to personally thank him for all he has done to provide me with the beauty and magic of Africa. Seamless! Amazing experience
We went on safari to Sabi Sands in September 2024 and had an amazing time. Saw an abundance of animals, and the big 5 multiple times. The service throughout the entire stay was top notch! Susan made everything seamless and we did not have to think about a thing!! Can’t wait to go back
