Excellent.
Excellent tour.
Great hotels and Jonathan was a wonderful driver cum guide. He was always smilng, very knowledgeable about the wildlife and always knew the best placement for getting superb photographs.
We will always ask for him whenever we return.
Food could be better . The Quality of Indian food was not good.
Need a better car.
But hotel rooms were very good.

Amazing Trip, Highly Recommend. Great experience with Charles and Salina Wild
We had a brilliant trip with Salina Wild. Communication was great before the trip - every question answered and lots of helpful tips. We loved spending time with our guide, Charles. He was incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the animals, areas we visited and life as a guide. We learnt so much and saw all the big 5 several times. In our trip we went to Masai Mari, Nakuru, Amboselli and Diani Beach. Everywhere we went had something new and beautiful to see, ranging from multiple lion prides, illusive leapards or herds of dozens of elephants. We even spotted a pod of wild dolphins at the marine park in Diani beach. We'd highly recommend this once-in-a lifetime trip with Salina - and you'll be extra happy if you end up with Charles. Thank you Charles and Henry, and all the staff at every hotel. We will never forget waking up to a herd of zebra walking past the tent.

Loved every second with Salina Wind Adventures
We booked a 10 day safari with Henry from Salina Wild Adventures. We have never been to Kenya before so had a look around the internet and decide to go with Henry. Firstly, he always replied in a timely manner to any questions and queries we had before we booked. He was the same after we booked, so it was great to have someone we trusted on the end of the phone. Henry arranged our 10 day safari from start to end, we wanted to see various parts so this included - Masai Mara NR, Lake Nakuru NP, Amboseli NP then finished at Diana Beach. Our flight arrived late at night and Henry was able to book us a hotel for the night near the airport so we could get a good rest and start the safari the next day. We were met the next day at the hotel by Henry and his driver David. We dropped Henry off on the way to Masai Mara and the adventure was underway. A few hours drive to the Mara passing through various towns and villages we got to see the real side of Kenya. Our accommodation for 2 nights here was the Simba Oryx - staff were great, lodge number 8 was amazing - it has a clear view of the sunset. We could see Zebras and other animals inside the grounds near our lodge. At night we had dinner that was provided and we sat at the fire they setup each night inside the main building to have a few drinks. The next morning we done the hot air balloon - this is a MUST. The 4am rise was well worth it when we were up in the balloon. The breakfast on landing was amazing. Henry can arrange it for the same cost as it was when in the Mara. The staff here made us breakfast to go and that was perfect. We seen so many animals in the Mara and our guide David was so well connected to the people here when one was spotted he would get us to where the animal was. We managed to see every single animal in the mara on the big checklist. We left here to travel to Lake Nakuru - we decided to take the boat trip on the lake after asking David for other things we could do in this area. Im so glad he did suggest this as the boat trip was brilliant. We learned so much about this area from the guide on the boat. We stayed at Lake Nakuru Lodge - it was quite busy but the choice of food would keep even the fussy eater happy. We spent 1 night here, then made the drive down to Amboseli - the land of dust. We stayed at Oilepo Amboseli Safari Lodge, if you plan to go to Amboseli I would 110% recommend you stay at this lodge if you can - you will not be disappointed. Josh and Francis will look after you in every way possible. This lodge also has a swimming pool so you can relax if you do an early safari and want some chill out time, if you visit here make sure you do the Sundowner. We climbed the view point in the NP and had amazing views. We spent 6 hours watching elephants here - there are so many to look at alongside the Hippos. We finished our trip in Diana Beach, it's alot more like a city here so the hotel is what most people would be more used to staying in. We liked the hotel, but if we could go back in time we would skip this part and stay longer in Amboseli. It was a good way to end the trip and relax a little before the flight home. If you have a late flight try and go for food at Carnivore in Nairobi as the food was good quality, Henry can help arrange.
Our time in Kenya this year would not have been anywhere near as good if it wasn't for Henry organising the lodges we stayed in as they have been hand chosen for a reason. They are clean, tidy, and will support all your needs. It is also worth a note here that as Henry used a guide - David who originates from the Mara had great knowledge of the Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli that it just made our trip 110% better. We loved spending time with David and asking far too many questions - ones he was only too happy to answer. I know for a fact writing this review that I will be back in Kenya in 12 months time because we enjoyed our time here so much. Our airline lost our luggage and this didnt even dampen how much we loved spending time here. Our only regret is we should have made it a 21 day trip instead of 10!.
Finally a heartfelt hanks to David who looked after us for 7 days, and Henry who arranged everything we needed before we arrived in Kenya. All in all, there is no one else you need to book a safari with apart from Salina Wild Adventures, we would recommend them to any of our friends in the UK to come here with them without a doubt! hii sio kwaheri tuonane baadaye.

Fantastic - made for an unforgettable family adventure!
Last year, we booked a 5-day safari covering Amboseli, Tsavo East & West, and Taita Hills for our family of six, and we had the pleasure of enjoying a private land cruiser for the entire journey.
From the start, Charles was incredibly responsive and crafted a fantastic itinerary tailored to our needs.
Our tour guide, Patrick, was the highlight of our trip—he deserves a full 5 stars. His extensive knowledge, dedication to finding the best game views, and warm, engaging personality made the entire experience truly memorable.
However, there are a few considerations to keep in mind when booking:
As noted by others, the quality of accommodations varied. While one lodge offered a unique leopard experience, the room itself was too uncomfortable for a good night's sleep. Given the long days of travel and game drives, we found that restful sleep was essential.
Additionally, although the itinerary mentioned "time at leisure" at the lodges, in reality, there was little downtime between lunch and the evening game drives. Unless you plan to stay in one location for a couple of days to truly unwind, I recommend prioritizing accommodation comfort over amenities like pools.
Despite these minor points, the trip was absolutely incredible and one we will cherish forever!
