First Safari, Saw It All
Seasoned traveler, only my second tour, and first safari. I chose Good One Tours through safaribookings.com because at the time, they were the only ones offering anything longer than 6 days. I selected their posted 8-Day safari, was able to swap out the cultural village tour day for a walking safari in Arusha National Park, and was pleased with the discounted quote - which I paid in advance in two installments using their secure Pesapal online payment system. In trying to prepare the best I could, Gadiel was always quick to answer questions saying everything was provided - which was not always the case. On arrival, my hotel had changed...as the provided itinerary states is a possibility, and Gadiel came to the hotel to explain my itinerary had also changed - based on grouping me with another tour company that was leaving the following day with room for a solo traveler visiting Tarangire, 3-days in the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater (which were the safari highlights and would have been sufficient), and Lake Manyara National Park - which I currently do not recommend due to climate change rising waters of the lake, loss of grasslands, and slash and burns happening all over the park to recreate habitat for the minimal animals seen. Otherwise, I spent only two days with Good One Tours and Martin was definitely the highlight as my guide and driver for Arusha National Park, Napuru Waterfalls, and return to JRO airport. He was prompt, knowledgeable, helpful, and genuinely interested in connecting and sharing with me on numerous levels beyond my just being another customer. He was not constantly on his phone, trying to pass me off to strangers, attempting to 'witness' debate me about Christianity and religion, and I never would have made it to/from Napuru Falls without his help navigating the said "30-minute walk" with undisclosed steep trail, slippery rocks, and crossing a rushing stream at least 7 times. He has a resilient passion for people and being the best guide and host possible. For the payment system and Martin, I can recommend Good One Tours but be prepared for 'luck of the draw' to what you finally get once there. Even with the worst of inconveniences, it's still a 5-star experience and just another part of the adventure.

Great value for Mount Meru tour
First of all, my friend and I had an amazing experience climbing Mount Meru with Good One tours! Hence the 5 stars. We were very happy with what we got for our money. There are a view things to keep in mind. We booked a private tour so we could decide our own pace. But everyone going up the mountain that day, shares one ranger, no matter what you book. So we ended up walking with several others. Only summit day was private. In comparison to other hikers we got a good deal but we also realized that the more expensive ones were a little better in terms of communication. Our guides English and planning skills were not great. Silva, the porter/waiter and guide in training made up for a lot. He was kind, funny and knowledgable. Summit day we hiked with both of them and they did a great job motivating us. Telling us they had no doubt we would make it, taking all the time we needed and even playing some music to get us through the last hour.
Food was also very good! Make sure to bring some snacks for during the hike, everything else was taken care of.
It was an amazing experience!

Excellent
I booked from Spain and since the first moment I had an amazing communication with Gadiel, who prepared the itinerary according my needs and everything was perfect. They picked up me at the airport, and droppped me at the end of the Safari. The Safari was super good and an amazing experience. The tour guy Kisamo was amazing. I totally recommend this company.

Excellent safari 👌🙏
Just wow! We had an unforgettable 3-day safari with Good One Tour, starting in Arusha, exploring the Serengeti, and ending in the stunning Ngorongoro Crater. We saw almost all the animals we dreamed of (yes, lions, elephants, and even cheetahs!). Huge thanks to our amazing driver and the super talented cook who kept us happy and full throughout the trip. If you're looking for an adventure of a lifetime, this is it!

The trip was so cool I loved it!
The trip was awesome! I went as a solo traveller so I was quite anxious about who I would be with, but I ended up being with a really fun group of people! We saw so many wild animals, including a pack of lions at one point, a group of lion cubs, and much more! The mornings were an early start but it was so worth it; I can't describe how peaceful the environment felt whilst I was there, and it did suck to leave! I ended up doing more travelling with one of the people I met too.
The food that the cook made was delicious, especially the soup he made for starters. Would gladly do it again.

An amazing 3-day safari trip
Just finished a 3-day safari trip, now let's write about our true feelings about this journey.
Firstly, regarding the consultation before the trip, Gadiel from Good One Tours answered my questions about safari very professionally and patiently, providing corresponding solutions. After we arrived in Arusha, he also thoughtfully arranged for a driver to pick us up.
The driver who picked us up at the airport is Alinice, who is a very responsible person. Before safari, he waited for us at the airport on time and delivered us to the hotel. After finishing the Safari, he helped us arrange a vehicle to Moshi and recorded the driver's contact information to ensure that we could arrive smoothly.
Rockie, ourdriver and guide during the safari, has been driving us for three days to search for various representative animals on the African continent. His explanations are enthusiastic and he has shared a lot of knowledge.
As the chef, Juma prepares delicious food for every meal, which is a time-consuming but particularly important task, ensuring that everyone has sufficient energy during the Safari process.
Everyone works diligently and is responsible to us, leaving a good impression of Tanzania on us. Without a doubt, their work deserves respect. Of course, I expressed my gratitude to them in my own way. The Chinese people and the African people are good friends forever! Thank you again!

Exceptional experience!
Our safari experience was fantastic. The guides were knowledgeable about the animals and their lives, always explaining things in detail. The safari truck was clean and comfortable. We also appreciated communication throughout the reservation process. Gadiel’s morning check-in call before our tour started was a nice. Overall, it was an exceptional experience!

Amazing
Went on a 3-day safari trip to Serengeti and Ngorongoro on a group trip. Very nice experience and well organized trip, especially considering the amount you pay! Got to see many animals
Gadiel communicated very well with me for the transfers and hotel arrangements. And when there was a misunderstanding about accommodation once he immediately arranged another hotel and direct transfer.
If you're looking for a nice Serengeti trip but are somewhat on a Budget I would really recommend booking with GoodOneTours.
