Professional and knowledgeable company who provide a bespoke safari service
From start to finish (booking enquiry to airport drop off) it was a flawless service. The booking team tailored our requests and time available in Kenya to an individual package which we felt was value for money for the experience we received. Cyrus our guide and the booking team Jackie and David, met us at the airport which gave it the personal touch. From the word go, they ensured we had the best experience possible. Cyrus constantly checked we were happy with arrangements and timings and was so knowledgeable, not just about the parks/game but also about Kenya and all the sights we saw en route between the parks. He made sure that we got the maximum experience in the minimal time we had. If we could give him a 10 star review we would. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend both Native Afrika Voyages and Cyrus to anyone who is considering a safari in Kenya.

High quality tour with amazing experiences
Throughout the process of booking and preparing for our trip, Native Afrika were very timely and helpful in all communication, listening to our needs to create a tailor-made safari that was exactly what we wanted. The 4x4 vehicle was incredible and perfect for viewing all the animals. By far, the best part of our experience was our guide, Anthony, who was with us the whole time, with expert knowledge about all of the parks and Kenya, and super friendly and welcoming. Masai Mara was the highlight of the trip, including the Masai village tour - I can’t even begin to explain just how amazing this place was! We loved the trip and would highly recommend Native Afrika.

Wonderful 3 days on the reserve.
We recently had the pleasure of exploring Kenya with Native Afrika Voyages, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! Our guide and driver, Steven, was truly exceptional—knowledgeable, friendly, and always attentive to our needs. He made sure that we could see as much of Mara as possible. He was extremely knowledgeable of the reserve and took us to the perfect spot where we were lucky to witness the wildebeest migration! We also saw many other animals and birds throughout our 3 days there including 4 of the big 5 (the rhino was impossible to spot in our trip). Steven made sure the journey was seamless and enjoyable while sharing fascinating insights about the wildlife and local culture.
The tour was well-organized, and we felt completely safe and comfortable throughout. We enjoyed our last evening out on the reserve with a fun sundowner and bit of a drizzle.
I highly recommend Native Afrika Voyages and Steven as your guide, for anyone looking for an unforgettable Kenyan adventure!

Don't recommend
Hi , I just finished my trip with Native Afrika voyages on sep 2nd week and unfortunately it was not great . Even though our driver cum tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, the office team messed up our itinerary. We had two day game drive in masaimara, which they cut short into 1 day without our knowledge.
My husband and I, submitted our initial inquiry to Native Afrika voyages(NAV) via safaribookings. After our enquiry , we were communicated via email by the NAV team . After multiple round of email conversation, we received the final itinerary as pdf and we paid around 25% to book the trip with the confirmed itinerary. On the day of travel, we were picked up from our hotel ( 30 minutes late) and the NAV travel consultant tried to brief the itinerary while we were enroute to National park. Unfortunately we didn't check our itinerary against the day to day briefing by consultant. Little did we know that they changed our 2 day game drive in masai mara to one day . Please note that one day entrance fees to masai mara national park is 200 dollars per person . We were two and they didn't even inform us via email about this change in itinerary for which we had already paid. Who changes the already confirmed and upfront paid itinerary on the day of trip ? When I asked about the 2 day masai mara visit , I was asked to pay extra 400 dollars for entrance fees. I tried to address my concern, but somehow they didn't want to talk to WOMAN , instead he wanted to talk to my husband to get his opinion. Whatever excuses they are going to provide as a response, please think before making a decision. If you have already paid, please validate the itinerary once again before paying the remaining amount. I didn't get my 400 dollars back. I don't want this to happen to anyone else. Hence a lengthy post.
I was told on the last day of the trip that they will look into this issue and get back with a solution . I didn't receive any response so far.

Posted on Sep 30, 2024Dear Cinil,
We are truly grateful that you chose us as your preferred safari company for your recent 7-day adventure, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us. Your feedback is valuable.
I would like to clarify a few points regarding your concerns. The safari you booked through SafariBookings clearly indicates that the first night in Masai Mara does not include a game drive, as we offer a visit to Hell’s Gate in the morning en route to Masai Mara for dinner and overnight stay.
Your booking was made during peak season while were handling lots of inquiries, and erroneously shared to you an itinerary that included game drive on the first night in Masai Mara, which was incorrect.
On the morning of your departure, our experienced Travel Consultant, Jackline, met with you to review the itinerary in detail. At that time, there were no questions raised about the first night’s plans. Your inquiry about the itinerary arose while you were at Lake Naivasha, where our driver-guide explained the planned visit to Hell’s Gate and then to the lodge in Masai Mara.
We find it important to mention that we took you to Hell’s Gate, which was not included in the mistakenly sent itinerary, and we didn’t read any complain from you on the same. Additionally, please note that the park entry fees for the first night were not included in your safari costing.
Regarding the late pickup, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. On the morning of your departure, many roads in Nairobi were unexpectedly closed for a marathon, and our driver-guide had to navigate longer routes due to the closures that were not communicated by the government.
Once again, we are truly sorry for any misunderstandings and appreciate your concerns. We are committed to ensuring that all safari itineraries are clearly communicated to our clients before their arrival.
Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to have the opportunity to serve you again in the future.
Warm regards,
David.

Amazing experience! Our guide is Antony, he’s experienced, knows animals very well and where they are in the park. We got to see the big five closely! Couldn’t love this trip more!

A Magical family trip of memories we will cherish forever...
They call it a “Magical” tour and it certainly was for us! We did a private 7-day trip spending 2 days at Meru (where the movie “Born Free” was filmed), 2 days in Samburu, one at Lake Navaisha and 2 days at Masai Mara. First of all, we owe a debt of gratitude to our driver/guide, Steve, for making this a wonderful trip. He spotted animals, took us to great spots, explained local customs, was always on time, and just a great travel companion! When we booked our safari, we looked at other people’s experiences through their comments. Native Afrika Voyages had good comments and offered us a reasonable price. We decided to trust them to organize our safari and are very glad we did! We couldn’t be happier with our trip! They are very professional and did a great job for us. The incredible scenery and the peace and tranquility of the animals in their natural habitats was so beautiful. Really a dream come true for us. If you’re on the fence, go for it! I highly recommend contacting the nice folk at Native Afrika Voyages. And ask for Steve to be your driver/guide!

When dreams come true
We had a 5 days Safari in Ol Pejeta, Naivasha and Masai Mara National Reserve.
The organization was perfect by Maureen, thank you, for keeping your eye on all of our wishes.
Camps, foods, safari and vacation at Diani beach was fantastic.
Thank you for the best driver John, who was fantastic guide, showed us every beautiful place, animal and event during the safari.
Thanks for the interesting discussions and beautiful stories.
It was my birthday present from my husband, because my childhood dream was to go to Kenya, to see these conservatories.
You took this dream unforgettable and wonderful.
It was my best holiday!

So much wildlife in 2 days
Cyrus provided a thrilling and safe Safari experience. Within minutes of entering Nakuru National Park we saw two lions hunting from just 15-20 yards away. He found rhinoceros and so many big and small wildlife. He was so helpful and patient guiding us through the parks.
He set us up with a great boat captain John at Lake Naivasha who guided us to so many wonderful bird picture opportunities.

Trip of a lifetime - highly recommend
Fantastic safari tour! The team was incredibly helpful and proactive in assisting us with trip preparation, both before and during our 5-day adventure. They were very accommodating when we decided to make some changes to our plan and provided excellent advice throughout.
Our guide Steve was great, helping us spot an amazing amount of animals during the trip. We saw so many animals, often multiple times!

Amazing
We did a 4 day safari with one night in Naivasha (lake) and two nights in Masai Mara. Everything about our experience was perfect. Mary was very responsive and was able to cater our itinerary to our budget and needs even though we only booked about 3 weeks prior.
I searched around quite a bit with different tour operators and found that Native Afrika Voyages was the best value for money. We were only two people and opted for the private tour. We decided to drive to Naivasha/Masai Mara and fly back to Nairobi. They will be able to modify your itinerary to include anything you'd like. Pick up and drop off to wherever you'd like as well!
On the game drives themselves, our guide Antony was very knowledgeable and seemed to know where the animals would be. We saw all of the animals we wanted to see, up very close! We would definitely recommend Native Afrika Voyages to anyone interested in a Kenyan safari.
