Very well organised
As our first trip to Kenya we were unsure on how to properly plan a trip and what company to choose. Luckily Margaret was super responsive and designed our trip according to the dates, flight times and our preferences.
After a warm welcome at the airport she introduced us to our tour guide Eric who was very accommodating and knowledgeable.
Hotels were nice and staff welcoming. However, the last hotel might need some updating and requires stocking of the bar (no soft drink, no beer no wine and no brew coffee - we were wondering why they bother to open the bar) - but this not reflect on Camptrek as a company. Thank you Margaret and Eric for making this trip wonderful and memorable.

“A Journey of a Lifetime – Unforgettable Safari Experience!”
I can’t recommend this safari enough! From the moment we arrived, the adventure unfolded into a series of breathtaking moments that left us in awe. The guides were incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and attentive to every detail, sharing fascinating insights into the animals and landscapes that surrounded us.
Each game drive was a thrilling experience, and we saw everything from majestic elephants and graceful giraffes to elusive leopards and even a pride of lions on the hunt. The close encounters were heart-stopping and exhilarating, but we always felt safe in the hands of our guide, who had a remarkable eye for spotting wildlife.
The accommodations were luxurious yet felt perfectly in tune with nature. Waking up to a sunrise over the savannah, with the sounds of wildlife in the distance, was magical. Meals were fantastic too—fresh, delicious, and with an authentic taste of local flavors.
Every moment on this safari felt surreal and left us with memories that will last a lifetime. If you’re looking to connect with nature on a profound level, this safari is an absolute must!
Highlights:
• Expert guides with incredible knowledge of wildlife and ecology.
• Thrilling, safe encounters with a wide variety of animals.
• Stunning, comfortable lodges that blend into the natural environment.
• Breathtaking views and unforgettable sunrise and sunset moments.
Can’t wait to go back!

Camptrek, John and guides did everything to ensure our Kenya/Tanzania Safari was unforgettable!
John from Camptrek was wonderful to work with during the planning of our trip. He was very helpful in answering any questions we had in preparation for our trip. Of all the tour operations, Camptrek put together an amazing 16 day Safari to Kenya and Tanzania. From the very first day, John and the other tour guides were friendly, warm and accommodating. They each went out of their way to make sure that everyone in our group’s personal needs were met during the entire trip. We were on the trip with our 86 year old mother and they were very solicitous, wanting to be sure that she was comfortable and that she had everything she needed. The accommodations that Camptrek arranged were excellent and the grounds of some of the camps were stunning. Our agenda was jam packed with game drives, visits to animal orphanages, sanctuaries and visiting tribal people. During our game drives we were lucky enough to be able to see the Big 5, the Ugly 5 and numerous other creatures. The guides were incredibly knowledgeable, sharing information on each of the animals, including their habits, lifespan and anecdotal stories. Overall, it was an unbelievable experience thanks to John and Camptrek. This was a once in a lifetime trip but should we decide to take some of our other family members on a trip to Africa, we would definitely do the trip through Camptrek. It is without any reservation that we recommend Camptrek for your safari.

Best Tour Experience
This was my third African Safari to Kenya and Tanzania. Camptrek was by far the best operator. They offer the best value, including price, knowledgeable, guides, accommodations, and flexibility. By the end of the trip, it felt like the guides and the owner were part of our family.

Reliable, nice and fast response
Guide Lucy and driver Robot are really reliable and fast response. Hotels are mostly clean, safe and beautiful, except the one in Lake Nakuru. The lodge in Lake Naivasha surprised me by lakeview and animals. Wonderful memory! I will recommend Camptrek to my Chinese friends.

12-day trip to Kenya, Tanzania, and Zanzibar with three guides.
We booked a 12-day trip to Kenya, Tanzania, and Zanzibar, with three different guides. The best and most memorable one was David, our guide in Kenya. He always had this big smile on his face, whether he was with us or chatting with hotel staff. Before every game drive, he’d remind us to check for our phones and bags. On the drives, he patiently taught us how to tell males from females, left from right, and even fun slang for different animals. If you’re booking with Camptrek, David is the one to go with!
In Tanzania, we had to change one of our tent stays because of our schedule change, but the new tent was honestly not up to the mid-range level we expected.
Our guide in Zanzibar not bad, but for booking activities, just ask the hotel front desk. It’s cheaper than what the guidequoted us.

Responsive and well organized
We had such a wonderful trip with Camptrek, especially our guide Vincent and Antony. Our boy loved both of them very much. We spent 10 days in safari at Amboseli, Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire, following up with 3 days in Zanzibar island. The whole trip was smooth and our guides were very responsible and taking care of all our needs.
Vincent is the best guide you could ever find. He’s patient, genuine and thoughtful. Our family was inspired by his passion for wildlife. He is already knowledgeable about the nature and animals. However, he was as curious as we were during the trip. He is more than a guide but like a friend of ours. On the second day of our trip, Vincent invited our 11-year-old boy sitting next to him so they can exchange their knowledge of animal facts. We sincerely appreciate his accompany along the trip. We would definitely love to have Vincent as our guide again next time we visit Tanzania!
What an incredible experience. Highly recommended!!
