Our 9-day Northern Circuit safari with Kojuu Safaris Africa was nothing short of extraordinary! From the beginning, Judith handled every detail of our trip with impeccable care and expertise, ensuring our journey was seamless and enjoyable. Her organization made everything worry-free, from booking exceptional lodges to planning our daily adventures.
Our guide, Haruni, brought the landscapes and wildlife to life with his deep knowledge and passion. His eyes spotted animals from miles away, and he shared fascinating insights into their behavior and the region's ecology. Thanks to Haruni, we witnessed lions hunting and eating water buffalos, tracked hundreds of zebras and gnus, and enjoyed breathtaking sunsets over Serengeti's plains. His dedication to ensuring we had a rich, immersive experience made each day unforgettable.
Judith organizing an amazing range of lodges that enhanced our experience at every turn. Each lodge offered a unique style, from eco-friendly camps that made us feel immersed in the wilderness to upscale accommodations with breathtaking views over the plains.
One of our favorites was in the Serengeti, where we stayed in a beautifully appointed tented camp with modern comforts yet felt perfectly connected to nature. Falling asleep to the sounds of wildlife and waking up to incredible sunrises right outside and zebras around our tent was surreal. Our favourite was the Signature Serengeti Luxury Tented Camp.

A brilliant first safari!!
Our experience with Kojuu was a genuine pleasure across the board. Knowing that there are so many options for safari operators in Tanzania, the attention to detail and quality of service of Judith (the owner) and her staff was second to none.
Our trip began directly from Kilimanjaro Airport in Arusha where we received a warm welcome by Haruni, our guide and driver for the next six days. Stepping out of the airport, we were met with a surprise personalized embellishment on our car (we were celebrating our honeymoon on this trip) and birthday flowers for one of us (whose birthday it was that day). Kojuu took so much care to ensure that our special occasions were not only acknowledged, but actively celebrated across any of the camp & experience operators involved with our trip. Outside of the safari, we wanted to mention Festo for assisting us in our Arusha pickup— he was full of joy and enthusiasm and a delight to be around for the short time we traveled with him.
Haruni has been a safari guide for over 12 years and his experience and groundedness made us feel we were in great hands. He took deliberate care to take our energy and desires into account as we planned out each day. He was deeply knowledgeable about everything we asked— be it about the animals, Masai culture, the political history of Tanzania, and so much more to fill in the edges of the safari. That in itself made the trip so memorable and our appreciation for Tanzania all the more robust and nuanced.
In total, we’ve come away with knowing that there are many ways to experience Tanzania, and it’s vital to have a company who has great relationships to the best camps, knowledgable guides, attention to detail, and quality of service. Choosing Judith and her team at Kojuu was a great decision, and one we highly recommend for anyone interested in exploring the wonders that Tanzania has to offer.

Kojuu Safari provided an excellent Safari experience.
I was very fortunate to come across Judith Siware of Kojuu Safari after perusing countless websites, recommendations from friends and other travel agencies, and query emails. Judith Siware, the travel director at Kojuu Safari was organized and thorough- providing a complex five day itinerary that included one day at Mount Kilimanjaro and four days at Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and Serengeti. Her hiking experts Dickson and his driver Festo were exceptional during my hiking excursion to Kilimanjaro. During my safari excursion, my tour guide Elias was phenomenal- providing details of the animal behavior and the culture of the Maasai. I never thought that I would see as many animals as I did. The Safari vehicles were comfortable and allowed easy access for photography with pop-up roofs. The hotel selection and service was superb- even in challenging environments like Serengeti. Laslty, the food at all locations was excellent. I plan to recommend the staff at Kojuu Safari to all my associates.

Judith was very responsive and made herself available for all my questions.
This trip was amazing. I saw everything I thought I would see and more. My guide, Harun, was the best. His 12 years of experience put us in the best positions to see it all. He was in constant communication with the other drivers, guides and rangers to get the best views and animal experience. I felt completely safe viewing all the animals.
The weather was perfect, I didn’t have an issue with the heat at all.
All the vehicles and hotels have USB ports.
There was an over abundance of food at the hotel and on the game drives.
The hotels have appropriate security.
I booked the solo 9 day safari and don’t regret it.
Lastly, Harun knows EVERYONE! It was such a pleasure to see him interact with all the people in the towns, gas station, entry gates and on the safari. He always asked how I (and my family back home) was doing and what animals I wanted to see for the day.
There are many options for safari, but my experience with Kojuu, Judith and Harun was 1st class.

Unforgettable trip that was tailored to perfection!!
From start to finish, the 8 day safari trip to 4 national parks my wife and I embarked on was absolute perfection. Not only was every moment flawlessly organized, but the staff was so kind and welcoming too. The owner, Judith, and her assistant Anita even went as far as to greet my wife with a beautiful bouquet of flowers once we arrived at the hotel! To add to this delight, Judith's quick problem solving was not overlooked. When my luggage was mistakenly left in Ethiopia, Judith worked her magic and managed to have it delivered to me the next day in Serengeti! We were in truly great hands throughout the trip.
A special shoutout to our tour guide Harun, who was knowledgeable, professional, and extremely experienced, yet so kind that he felt like a part of our family on this trip. His passion for the nature and wildlife is clear, and his wisdom enhanced every moment of our trip. Words can't describe how great he is!
I highly recommend this agency for anyone looking for a well organized adventure.

This is the first time we went to Tanzania for Safari. We are very glad that we chose Kojuu Safaris to help us arrange this Safari trip. With their help, the trip was excellent and memorable.
Right start from the first contact with Judith, she was very responsive and professional. Judith is very knowledgeable. She could provide with all the insights about how to plan the itinerary, as well as recommendations on different accommodations. We at first were not sure of which hotels to stay in, she was able to provide us her thoughts on different experiences with different accommodation choices, so we could choose based on our preferences. The accommodations we ended up staying all exceeded our expectations, thanks to Judith’s advice. Judith is also super responsive to all my questions about anything regarding safari. Sometimes, I could be an annoying client due to my attention to very subtle details. But Judith kept patient and replied to my every smallest question. As she was pregnant later and her condition didn’t allow her to be as responsive as before, she even asked her colleague Anitha as her backup to help us. Anitha is the same responsive and responsible as Judith is. It is their tireless help and support that made our trip to be successful and memorable.
What touched me the most is Kojuu Safaris’s commitment to serve their customers and willing to go extra miles to make sure their customers to be well taken care of. When we arrived at Kilimanjaro airport, our luggage were missing from our flight. The luggage had all our clothes in them, which made my wife super concerned. While this was not Kojuu’s responsibility, Judith managed to get our luggage the second day and delivered to us the third day morning, with no extra charge. Her help minimized the impact of this incident to our trip. Another example is that our friends left one day before us in the afternoon, so they needed to stay with us in the hotel before they leave for airport. Judith was so kind to offer buying them lunch, so they could eat together with us. This shows how caring Judith was.
I would also like to give a special shout out to our guide Harun. He has over 10 years experience of being a safari guide. He is super knowledgeable and He also has eagle eyes. He could spot animals when we don’t even have a clue. For instance, he spotted a serval while he was driving and immediately pointed to us, so we were able to see this hard to find small cat. In Ngorongoro, he pointed to a small black dot far away and told us that was a rhino. We were able to confirm that with our binoculars and high zoom camera. We were amazed on how he could spot that with his bare eyes. Harun also kept our preference in his mind and tried his best to make us satisfied. With his help, we were able to collect the big 5 within the first several days of our safari. We were even able to see a leopard with her cub which is very rare to see. After successfully collecting the big five, Harun knows that we are interested in Cheetahs and river crossing, so he made every effort to find those and bring them in front of our eyes. With his help, we saw cheetahs couple of times (one time mama cheetah with her cub and another time two brothers) and an extraordinary river crossing. Harun’s commitment to customer satisfaction made our first safari trip to be so wonderful. We would highly recommend him to anybody!
When we planned our trip, we thought it was a once in a lifetime experience only. But now, we can’t wait coming back in a couple of years for another visit. This is all because Judith, Anitha and Harun and the entire Kojuu safaris crew. Their commitment to excellence and focus on customer satisfaction made our trip spectacular. Thanks to Kojuu, and we will be back!

Phenomenal
We dreamt and Kojuu Safaris delivered !! Our 10 nights 11 days Tanzania vacation planned and executed by Judith and team was like a dream come true for us. Judith is excellent at listening to your needs and crafting an itinerary with experiences and stays that you have in your mind. Everything is planned to the T - right from the pick up at the designated hotel / airport to the airport drop off. All our stays through out the 3 national parks were outstanding in terms of location, room, amenities, luxury, comfort, people and food. I would describe our trip as wild outside, luxury and comfort inside.
Peter, our guide was phenomenal. His experience of 15 years of knowing the national parks and its animals well, helped us spot all the animals we wanted to see which included the Big 5 obviously. Very polite and always smiling, he took utmost care of us during the 7 days we were with him. Best part of the trip was the safari vehicle which was our home on wheels and which was cleaned every single evening by Peter. Incredible job by him in doing so cos we were traveling to a new destination every day. He ensured the fridge was stocked with water, soda and beer ! On the last day of our safari, we were all tired and exhausted and wanted to go back to the tented lodge after an unsuccessful day at watching the wildebeest crossings. But Peter insisted on showing us a cheetah and a leopard and what a sighting that was ! Thanks to him we got up close view of these 2 beasts when we had given up all the hopes !

From start to finish, an incredible experience with an incredible tour guide and company! The BEST!
We did a 4 day safari starting at Tarangire then Serengeti for 2 days and finishing at the Ngororo Crater. We were greeted at the airport by Justin who was incredibly warm and friendly. The next day we started our four day trip and were met by Naaman at our hotel. What a guide! He was incredibly knowledgable, we could ask him anything about any of the animals, the country, people, landscape, anything and he always gave us an answer. As well as that, he was always giving us information along the tour without us asking, it was great. He made us feel so welcome and comfortable throughout the trip, was super friendly and a great laugh! Thank you Naaman for everything, seriously! The best guide we could have asked for and we have definitely made a friend with you!
From the time we booked our trip, Judith was so helpful, easy to get hold of and just made everything so easy and stress free. Whilst we were in Tanzania we also liaised with Anitha who we met at our hotel when we arrived. Like Judith, Anitha was super easy to get hold of, very helpful and just made everything easy!
