We were very pleased with Peter from Northwest Wilderness Safaris, his knowledge and experience in safari planning enabled us to build a flexible itinerary to suit our various wildlife and cultural interests both during the planning phase and whilst on tour.
Communications pre-tour were prompt, helpful and kept us abreast of any local issues that may have influenced our itinerary.
Peter our tour guide and driver (also named Peter) were knowledgeable regarding the various natural environments and flora/fauna, the local people, places and customs and willingly shared their understanding and stories which enhanced our holiday. We enjoyed our daily language lessons.
Driver skills and competency were impressive, and we felt safe no matter what the driving conditions and traffic loads were.
Once we left Nairobi, we enjoyed a wide range of accommodation types with many exceeding our expectations. Food options were good including vegetarian choices and catered for all our needs.
Overall, the two Peters were courteous, friendly and attentive ensuring our family group enjoyed the experience.

Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and very easy to get along with which improved the experience
Overall, our trip up to Point Lenana on Mount Kenya was excellent. Though not cheap, our guide was very good, providing clear instructions and both essential and interesting knowledge, and a genuine interest in getting to know us. The support team was reliable and helpful, and the food was good. I would highly recommend this trip for its good service, and unbeatable views.

The guide was very friendly, knowledgeable, and made the hike a very enjoyable experience.
The hike went very well. The guide was amazing. Communication was good as well as reliable transportation to and from the mountain. Everyone on the team was great. Overall an excellent experience!

Absolutely the best!
Excellent and enjoyable, very well planned, everyone was there to meet our every need, always felt extremely safe, lots of laughs, excellent variety of things to see and do, always a pleasant surprise the next day. Can’t say one negative about this trip of a lifetime! ❤️👏🏻👏🏻
