Wilson was so kind, knowledgeable, patient and attentive he exceeded our expectations of a guide!
We went to Tanzania for our honeymoon and had the most amazing experience! Everything was great from the planning process at the beginning to the accommodations and our guide! Hugo was very helpful and responsive with planning everything out. Then our guide, Wilson was also amazing! He was so kind and knowledgeable! He helped us see many different kinds of animals and always made sure we were having a good time! It was truly the trip of a lifetime and we are so happy we chose to go with Soul of Tanzania!

Dream safari with an exceptional experienced guide
We had an incredible tour of Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, and Ngorongoro Conservation Area with an equally incredible and experienced tour guide in Wilson. I can not recommend it highly enough as it stands to be our best ever trip. Not only did we get to see every animal imaginable, we saw breath taking scenery, and learned a lot about the parks, Tanzania, and more from our excellent guide, Wilson. He knows the parks like the back of this hand and he can seemingly spot an animal many miles away in the corner of his eye. United Expeditions themselves were a dream to work with, from start to finish. If you were like me and found it odd that the reviews were too good to be true, that's because the level of service and attention to detail is truly exceptional. Every step of the journey, from planning to the final farewell, exceeded our expectations. Wilson’s passion (a true Tanzanian) for the wildlife and his deep knowledge of the ecosystems made every moment of the trip unforgettable.
We felt safe, well-cared-for, and completely immersed in the beauty of Tanzania (literally where it all began).

Did a 6 night Serengeti safari loop out of Arusha with my teenage daughter and had an amazing time. All the accommodation was very comfortable with amazing staff and excellent food. The vehicle was comfortable and special thanks to Wilson as he was an amazing guide . All the parks were unique and interesting experiences with animals up close. I don’t think there was a wild animal we didn’t see. A very well organised tour.

5 incredible days of Safari in Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro:
It was an unforgettable experience!
Each park had its own beauty and always brought a surprise, mouth-opening moments of admiration. The variety of ecosystems and observing animals in harmony, it's as if you were the "Lion King in HD"!
The 5 days were perfect and enough! We managed to see the famous big 5, we really weren't expecting it!
On the last day we managed to cross off the rhinoceros from the list, although further away.
We saw so many lions, it was not my expectation at all, I thought it would be difficult to see them and that at most it would be from very far away, but the truth is that we saw groups of 7 lions, a lioness with her litter in the shade, a pair of juvenile lions landing next to the solar panel in Serengeti and 5 lionesses resting in the grass in camouflage, and so many others. And those weren't the only cats, a leopard resting in the tree, a camouflaged cheetah and two Serval cats.
We saw many elephants, in groups, others alone in incredible landscapes, in the 3 natural parks!
The animal that stuck in our minds the most was the hyena, with its majestic gait.
And a mental photograph was clearly the giraffes against the light on the road that connects Ngorongoro and Serengeti! A trip full of dust and full of adventure.
Moises, our guide was an incredible driver, we highly recommend any safari to be done with him, Moises had a GPS in his head and knew the tricks of the roads. We saw many cars stuck on the side of the road, sometimes with a flat tire, sometimes with a broken steering wheel. I was just wondering when will it be our turn? The roads are not at all friendly for cars, it takes a lot of esteem in the jeep and driving. It was interesting to realize that I had been going on safaris for over 20 years!

Perfect!
Our trip was perfect! We booked a 4 days Safari in Taragire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti, and everything was very well planned, and it exceeded our expectations.
Our guide, Marco, was incredibly knowledgeable about everything, not only identifying animals and their behaviours, but explaining everything about animals as well as tanzania’s culture and lifestyle. We were very lucky to saw all those amazing landscapes and all the animals.
After the safari, we spent 4 days in Zanzibar to complete the experience with some beach and relaxing days.
We highly recommend Soul of Tanzania, it was one of our favorite trips by far!!

An Incredible Safari Experience With an Exceptional Safari Guide!
My husband and I travelled to Tanzania in October 2023 as our first big trip as a couple and absolutely loved the safari experience we had with Soul of Tanzania.
Planning our itinerary with Hugo was straightforward and went smoothly at every step. With his help, we were able to select the lodges and options that best suited us.
From the moment we were picked up by our guide, Azaria, we were extremely well taken care of. Azaria was incredibly kind, upbeat, knowledgeable, and an exceptional guide throughout the entire safari. Until the very last moment when we tracked down the previously elusive leopard, Azaria put in a ton of effort to find all of the animals we wanted to see and show us incredible views. We spent pretty much all day every day driving around looking for the best sights. If we return and Azaria is still a guide, we would absolutely love to do another safari together.
We opted to do a 7 day safari through Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and the Serengeti. Each place offered different landscapes, and, for us, was worth spending time at. As a surprise perk, the hot lunches were way better than we expected to eat in the middle of a safari drive. We definitely noticed people with other safari companies comparing our meals to their boxed lunches!
Based on our experience, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Soul of Tanzania.

Trip of a lifetime, amazing 5 day safari
Our experience doing a 5 day safari with soul of tanzania was simply wonderful and fantastic! Exceeded by far ours expectations. The itinerary was tailored perfectly by Hugo taking account our preferences and budget. The places, lodges, food and specially our guide Hassan were 10 stars!!! We really appreciate the luck of having Hassan as our guide, bringing 13 years of experience in driving, identifying animals and their behaviors very fast, showing his Great skill of explaining everything around (he was a teacher before being a safari guide) and big knowledge of animals as well as tanzania’s culture and lifestyle. An incredible experience from start to finish!
Where do I begin? We are frequent travelers and have visited over 35 countries so we’ve seen a bit of everything. I must say, I knew this trip would be good, but it was beyond good and incredible!
We were well taken care of from start to finish, which was nice as we didn’t have to think about anything but having an enjoyable holiday. You receive private airport transfers as well as a private vehicle and guide.
Our guide Emmanuel was just fantastic. He was kind and genuine, incredibly knowledgeable about the animals and Tanzanian culture, and he was adaptable if we wanted to change anything. He was who really elevated the trip to make it unforgettable.
As far as the game drives, we saw everything (the big 5, a successful Lion hunt, tons of different animals). It was so much fun!
The hotel lodging and food with Melia and Nimali were top tier and outstanding. I honestly would not change one thing about the trip!
