Highly recommended!
This safari was more than just game drives—it was an immersive experience! Besides spotting lions and elephants up close, we visited a Maasai village and learned about their rich traditions. Obag African Safaris - our best decision!
Choosing Obag African Safaris proved to be an excellent decision. Our experience with our guide, Obed, was nothing short of outstanding.
From the moment he picked us up at our hotel in Dar es Salaam to the moment he dropped us off at the airport, the trip was safe, enjoyable, and memorable. Despite the lengthy car journey to and from the safari, I felt at ease and secure with Obed at the wheel—an important consideration for many travelers. Additionally, I deeply appreciated Obed’s willingness to answer my numerous questions about Tanzania during the drive. His detailed responses enhanced my understanding of both the mainland and Zanzibar.
Obed demonstrated remarkable thoughtfulness and punctuality throughout the trip. He was consistently on time and attentive to our needs at every stage. During the game drive, his expertise became evident; he knew exactly where to locate the animals and approached them with care, ensuring respect for the wildlife while allowing us to enjoy the views. His knowledge of the animals added immense value to the experience, as he provided detailed insights during each sighting.

OBED …. Is the Best Guide !!!
This was one of my dreams to go on Safari. And our Guide Obed, was really the best guy I could’ve hoped for. He knew where to find the animals but at the same time. Also knew how to not disturb them so we could enjoy the time, without interfering with the animals. As well, he just knew so much about each individual animal it was so much fun to learn from him. And he helped us a lot with getting rid of the bugs in our rooms in a really funny way. Overall, I will do this definitely again. But only with Obed!

Selous game reserve was exceptional experience.stayed at mloka safari lodge which we loved !the staff in the short time we were there made us feel like family, we were sad leaving .Then on to mikumi Np.
Another exceptional experience where we saw everything possible ..our guides were absolutely 💯. Big shout out especially to johnston! And sorry I forgot the other driver name..they were 2 great characters. Very professional in their job..

Unforgettable Safari experience with Obag!
My wife and I recently returned from an amazing private Safari with Obag African Safaris. Recommended by a friend, we’re so glad we followed his advice!
Despite little time to plan, the agency took care of everything, tailoring the trip to our needs, and budget.
They picked us up in our hotel in Arusha, and for the following 5-days, 4-nights we visited Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro National Parks. Obed has been an exceptional guide and driver, and his team provided a tent, and everything we needed, making the experience stress-free.
The really know the parks and thanks to that we were able to spot an incredible range of wildlife! Giraffes, zebras, elephants, lions and leopards (with cubs!), cheetahs, and more. As a hobby photographer, having an experienced guide made it possible to always find the best spots and capture stunning shots.
What also made the difference is the communication, they are very responsive and replied to all our questions and doubts via WhatsApp.
We highly recommend Obag for an unforgettable safari experience!

Exceptional experience with Obag African Safaris
Exceptional experience with Obag African Safaris. We were a family of 6 and our guides, Obag and Johnson went above and beyond to ensure we had a most memorable experience. The guide was very knowledgeable and quality he explained fully about the animals and took us to see the animals explain about the animals. We enjoyed it so much it was the best trip of my life. We not only got to see the big five but also had the pleasure of being taught a lot about all the other wonders Obag and Johnson were very knowledgeable guides and pointed out many wonderful animals for us during our game drive.

everything was perfect!
What an experience! From the moment we contacted Obag Safaris for a quote to the end of our stay, everything was perfect!
Everything was very well organized and explained. We arrived in the middle of the night, and the guide picked us up at the airport and brought us to a hotel where we could rest for a few hours before starting the safari. The team even thought of doing the hotel check-in for us in advance so that we could save time on arrival. Our guide was incredible! We had a private jeep for my mum, my father and me. The guide explained everything about the animals we saw. He answered all our questions and has a lot of knowledge about Tanzania and the animals we can see on safari. He is a very respectful person with whom we had a great time! Thank you, Obag team!

Unique experience
Everithing was perfect. Our guide, Jhonson, and the drivers were so friendly people and they help us in everithing we need. The experience in Mikumi was very nice. We are very grateful to the people who have accompanied us in this adventure.
