The most amazing experience I have ever seen !
Exceptional!!!! The best travel memory of my life, 3 unforgettable days of safari thanks to our incredible guide, Felix.
Day 1: Off to Tarangire, home to majestic elephants and graceful, elegant giraffes. The first day was already breathtaking, filled with stunning sights, and we ended it with our first night in the park at Simba Lodge. Dining with antelopes resting in the garden was a highlight.
Then came the grand second day: Destination Ngorongoro Crater, probably the most unforgettable experience of my life—a true return to the cradle of humanity. It felt like the animated movie The Lion King came to life before our wide-eyed, childlike wonder. Along the way, Felix shared everything about the ecosystem and the incredible wildlife so close to us. He also revealed fascinating insights into the Maasai people, who line the roads in their colorful, elegant attire.
Upon arriving at Ngorongoro, we were lucky to start with lions sleeping in the trees, and at the center of the crater, we were surrounded by wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, and warthogs—a moment of unparalleled beauty in my eyes.
This second day was absolutely extraordinary—I lack the words to fully capture it. The magic of the place, combined with Felix’s passionate explanations and his impeccably skilled driving (an essential detail on these winding, awe-inspiring roads), made it unforgettable.
The third and final day: No less spectacular, this time heading to Lake Manyara, where the lush flora perfectly complemented the abundant wildlife. « The Lion King » gave way to « The Jungle Book » as we encountered an incredible variety of monkeys and even a (thankfully sleeping) python. Yet another vibrant, exceptional day.
You’ve probably guessed it by now—this safari is extraordinary, and I highly recommend it to anyone, young or old, dreaming of awe and wonder.
Above all, a huge thank you to Felix for making these 3 days so magical and unforgettable. If you’re lucky enough to have him as your guide and driver, you won’t be disappointed.

3-day safari with Akondo Adventures: great guide, seamless transfers, stunning parks, and top lodges
The safari organized by Akondo Adventures was absolutely outstanding! We were a group of 7 people, and everyone was extremely satisfied with the entire experience. The trip included seamless transfers from Zanzibar to Arusha and visits to the breathtaking Tarangire and Ngorongoro National Parks. Our guide, David, accompanied us throughout the three days of the safari, and he was exceptional—knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and always attentive to every detail. The accommodations were fantastic: we stayed at Tarangire Simba Lodge in Tarangire and Baghayo Lodge near the Ngorongoro Gate. The organization was truly exemplary, making this an unforgettable experience.

Akando, with Mr. Richard as a guide, was professional and friendly.
We had an amazing 3-day safari, wisiting both Serengeti and Ngororo. The guide, Mr. Richard was truly professional and made us feel very welcome. We got to see 4 of "the big 5" even though the grass at this time of year makes it difficult. We also got to encounter lions from very close, and our guide did his very best to make our safari memorable. The accomodation on this trip (Serena Hotel) couldn't have been better. Amazing atmosphere, great food and great people.

Wonderful safari experience
We hired a 2 days safari between Serengeti and ngorongoro crater ! Boris from Akondo adventures was very supportive and reliable throughout the planning process and during the actual safari via phone! The services provided throughout the safari trip( safari cars, refreshments, lunches and dinners) were all up to the expectation ! We managed to see so many animals and our drivers really worked hard to provide us the most of our of drive through the parks and knew what they were doing ! The hotel was spectacular and really great value for money ! There were some setbacks about the communication in relation to our flights on the second day, however Boris and team made sure to help us in adjusting the bookings and our taxi in Zanzibar airport on our way back even though it was a big delay by the airline! Overall we were a satisfied group of 10 customers, we had a blast and we recommend Akondo adventures

Amazing safari
We chose Akondo Adventures to do a 2-day safari. Boris took care of all the organization, truly excellent. We didn't have to think about anything. He organized the flight and internal transfers very well. Once we left for the safari we met Richard, our safari driver, who turned out to be an excellent and very competent guide, both in pointing out animals that were initially difficult for us to see and in the explanations and always available to answer all our questions and curiosities. They were 2 unforgettable days!!!

Akondo Adventures: A Perfectly Crafted Safari Experience
I recently went on a 3-day safari with Akondo Adventures, visiting Ngorongoro Crater and the southern part of Serengeti (Lake Ndutu area). We had a tight schedule, and I reached out to Akondo just two weeks before our trip to Tanzania. Boris from Akondo got in touch with me and was extremely responsive, answering all of my questions clearly and promptly. I shared my budget with him, and he tailored the itinerary to fit it perfectly.
Boris took care of everything, arranging flights to Arusha and back, as well as pick-up and drop-off in Dar es Salaam. He also made a thoughtful recommendation for our accommodation, suggesting we stay one night in a camp and the other in a lodge. Since I am a bit scared of insects, especially in open jungle areas, this compromise worked wonderfully. The Niyanki Camp was an unforgettable experience, and my parents loved the recommended Serena Lodge. Both options were fantastic, but I personally think that staying in the camp really immerses you in the wilderness experience.
Boris even took the time to meet us in person both when we arrived and set off on our safari as well as before we left for Dar es Salam which was a nice, personal touch and made us more comfortable. Our guide, David, was exceptional. He was always punctual, knowledgeable about the area, wildlife, and the parks, and maintained a great attitude throughout. His skill at spotting animals, even while driving, was remarkable. Thanks to him, we saw a lot of wildlife, including part of the migration in the southern Serengeti, and even spotted 4 out of the Big 5 (lion, rhino, buffalo, and elephant). David always made sure we had what we needed and patiently took the time to ensure we had the best experience possible.
Akondo Adventures was well-organized, communicative, and transparent with no hidden fees or unpleasant surprises. From start to finish, they were professional yet personal, making us feel like part of the family. If you're looking for a safari experience that combines expertise with a friendly, personal touch, I highly recommend Akondo Adventures!

Akondo Adventures is more a new agency in the wide sea of agencies here in Arusha. When my husband and myself decided to do a Safari in Tanzania (we first stayed a few days in Zanzibar) I was overwhelmed with agencies offering exactly the same tours. We have asked for 3 offers on Safaribooking.com from three different agencies. As it was our first Safari we just wanted to do a 3-day Safari and see as many different regions as possible hence we have chosen the Tarangire Park, Ngorongoro Crater and the Manyara Lake Safari. We received three different offers from three different agencies, I have chosen some more expensive once and some more affordable once. Why we have chosen Akondo adventures was the value of money, the stay during the Safari and the well organized and clear planning. The PDF offer was well done and very clear. Obviously I started to check the reviews about Akondo Adventures at I only could read positive feedbacks especially of Richard our personal guide to be. Anyways for me it was clear that I will go with that Agency as Boris (the owner) was assisting us just brilliantly. The payment was done over Bank transfer which we first were not sure about either but everything was legit. Boris sent us all the flight tickets and everything we needed for our tour. Boris also arranged all wake up and pick up timings from the place we stayed in Zanzibar and made sure we are awake for our trip to Arusha. Everything was well organized from A to B, well done Boris! All the people which took care of us were just warm and caring! Anyways we arrived in Arusha (our flight with Flightlink was a very good flight!!) Boris then welcomed us in Arusha, explained to us how the next three days will look like and handed us over to our guide Richard. What a lovely guy, lots of knowledge, 13years plus as guide in all the parks around Tanzania! What a gem! And he even speaks Spanish and some words in German (my husband is Spanish speaker and myself German speaker). We started in Tarangire Park which we basically have seen all the animals we wanted to see followed by a drive closer to Ngorongoro to our lodge which by the was was just fantastic! That lodge has several chalets (super big!) which you have one for your own just out in the nature looking towards the lake Manyara! Stunning! The staff were just brilliantly beautiful to us! Next day we visited the Crater which was the best day of all three as it was just so beautiful and we even have seen the Rhino! Which is very difficult to see at the moment. Next day we were at lake Manyara which was just beautiful as well! Everything was just mind blowing for us hence the long review for them. Thank you for making these three days unforgettable! Richard, thanks a lot for all your wisdom and knowledge sharing (super cool guide, very you g for his expertise and experience!). Thank you Boris for being so flexible and patient!
