We shared some unforgettable moments with Allen Tanzania Safaris
We wanted a personalized private safari with travel between the different parks by bush taxi plane to limit the tiring transfers between the different parks.
I can only recommend this solution, which allows you to make the most of the safari.
We selected Allen out of 7 other agencies because of the quality of their advice and their ability to listen.
Allen remained very flexible regarding the adaptations we wanted to make to the trip, and responded to all our requests.
We did a 7-day safari.
Departure from Arusha by plane to Kuro in Tarangire. Safaris in the Tarangire, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro reserves. Then transfer by plane to Seronera in the center of the Serengeti. We continued with a 3-day safari in the north and center of the Serengeti.
We were lucky enough to be able to admire some extraordinary wildlife in vast of varied landscapes.
We saw the big five as we should, but also all the other animals such as hyenas, hippos, crocodiles, zebras, a multitude of gazelles, an impressive number of elephants, not forgetting the countless birds and rich flora. In the north of the Serengeti, we were very lucky to come across the great wildebeest migration returning from Kenia at this time of year.
Perfect time of year to visit the Serengeti, with pleasant temperatures and cool nights. Despite the period of light rain, we only had 10 minutes of rain during the whole safari.
A big thank you to our two guides, Emanuel and Armani, who shared the task of accompanying us throughout our safari in their recent jeeps, which were put through their paces on the roads and tracks of the Serengeti (massage guaranteed). They shared their passion with us.
We have absolutely no regrets about our choice and can only recommend Allen Safaris.

Knowledgeable, very family friendly and catering to our interests.
My family and I enjoyed a fantastic safari to Tarangire and the Ngorongoro Crater with Allen Tanzania Safaris. We were a group of seven which included 4 teenagers. We each had an incredible experience.
Our guide shared so much of his knowledge - not just about the animals, but also about the parks, the geology, the flora, Tanzanian ethnic groups and Tanzanian heritage. He responded to our many questions and engaged us with plenty of interesting information about what we were seeing. We heard fascinating accounts of animal behaviour… and we even learnt some Swahili songs!
We had particular interest in the bird life in the parks and he catered perfectly for this and even kept a record of the 57 species that we saw - sharing his list at the culmination of our trip!
The lodges were beautiful with stunning gardens and swimming pools. One lodge was particularly teenage friendly with a basketball hoop, and volleyball court as well as a pool. The staff in every lodge were super welcoming, the rooms were comfortable and clean, plus the food was delicious!
The safari cruiser was reliable, comfortable and afforded great views of the parks especially when we popped the roof. We felt safe throughout, and respect for our surroundings was consistent.

I recently went on a safari in Tanzania with Allen Tanzania Tours, visiting Tarangire and Ngorongoro.
Our tour guide, Ebenezer Allen Mnyenye, was incredibly knowledgeable and made the trip unforgettable with his expertise and friendly demeanor. We explored the breathtaking Tarangire National Park and the awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater, witnessing incredible wildlife and stunning landscapes.
The accommodations provided by the company were top-notch, including stays at Pazuri Inn in Arusha and Eileen's Inn in Karatu. The hospitality was exceptional, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time.

This was a very memorable visit - we saw just about every animal we could have hoped for, often several sightings. Every moment was accompanied by a knowledgable explanation of how it all fits into the broader ecosystem. I've never learned so much in a single travel experience! Highly recommended.

3 day Tanzania safari (solo)
Selecting a safari tour operator is a daunting task, and I could not have been happier with my decision. From the initial inquiry all the way through my trip the communication with Allen Tanzania Safaris was easy and quick. Silas reached out to me the day before my safari to let me know my driver's name, to confirm pickup location and lunch option for the first day. Amani was a wonderful guide, even spotting a leopard in a tree while driving that I couldn't even see when I zoomed in with my camera! He (Amani) was a wealth of information as I asked questions about places or items we saw on the way to the different parks, different animals and birds, and always communicated exactly what the plan was each day.
The lodge that Allen Tanzania Safaris use (Eileen Trees Inn) has to be one of the most beautiful properties I have ever stayed at, the pictures online do not do it justice. The food and service are superb!

Amazing company and guide, will recommend to everyone
Our experience with Allen far surpassed our expectations. This was a magical four days for us that we will think about for the rest of our lives and we are already planning on going back. The choices were overwhelming, with what seems like an infinite amount of tour operators existing in the area, but we were so happy with our choice. Allen's knowledge is incredible, the accommodations were clean and picturesque, the food was much more than you'd expect on safari, the car was modern and spacious (and we had it all to ourselves) and we had more intimate encounters with wildlife than I could have hoped for. Will recommend to all our family and friends.
