Amazing five days in Tanzania National parks
5/5

We are just back from an amazing 5 day safari to Lake Manyara, South Serengeti, Central Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire National Park with Tanzanian Wildheart Adventures. When we booked the tour, Goodluck was quick to respond to our queries and organised the safari to our requirements. For me, one of the reasons for choosing this company was that the safari was just starting when we arrived at Kilimanjaro Airport, so it was really a 5 day safari. The safari vehicle was in very good condition, with good safety belts and suspension. Kefas, our safari guide, was already assigned in the contract. And with him we really had a great time during the safari and made the most out of these days. Apart from being a careful and safe driver, which was important as we had long distances to cover between the sites, he is an excellent guide who always gives good explanations about the different animals we saw - and we saw a lot. He gave us plenty of time to get a good impression of how the animals were behaving - if not sleeping. We were never in a hurry. Unexpectedly there were rains in the Serengeti, so he made the right decision to change the itinerary and we went first to South Serengeti because of the really heavy rain in Central Serengeti. It was only in the evening that we had to drive to our lodge in Central, which was quite an adventure as we had to pass through some very difficult places where the road was more of a river than anything else. So we were quite anxious to get to the lodge before dark. Again, Kefas remained calm and assured us that we would reach our destination safely - which we did. The next day we had a beautiful safari in Central with sunshine. Unfortunately it rained during our safari in the Ngorongoro Crater, but we still got to see lots of animals - it was just a different experience. We spent our last day in Tarangire with beautiful scenery, lots of elephants and giraffes and finally saw our first lion sleeping on a branch of an acacia tree ten feet above the ground. All the lodges on our luxury safari were really luxurious and we enjoyed our stay very much. At Ngorongoro Serena Lodge the rooms were even heated as it was quite cold in the evenings. We highly recommend Tanzania Wildlife adventures and Kefas as a guide. We can say, we came as strangers and left as friends.

loves his job, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, goes an extra mile, friendly - definitely recommended.
5/5

Our tour was perfectly arranged from start to finish, and everything went smoothly thanks to the dedication and attention of everyone involved. From the person who coordinated all the arrangements to our tour operator, who went above and beyond to make it a memorable trip, everyone excelled at their roles. It was clear that they genuinely loved what they were doing.

We were fortunate to find a tour operator who not only ensured we saw all the animals but also made us feel at ease throughout the entire journey. The hotels, flights, and transfers were all handled seamlessly, and the price-to-quality ratio was excellent.

Well priced and planned safari tour
5/5

We really enjoyed our safari with Tanzania Wildheart. Our agent Goodluck was great with communication and arrangements from pickup at the airport to drop off at the end of the safari. We booked a 7 day safari which was 5 days in the parks and a day in Arusha to rest from jet lag then a day to return to Arusha for flights the next day. There wasn’t much to do in Arusha and we could have skipped that day. Tarangiro was amazing as well as the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. We would have skipped Lake Mantara national park as it is much smaller and the lake was flooded due to rain. So many of the roads were closed due to flooding. Our guide Samson was an excellent driver on the rutted pot holed roads which took a lot of concentration. He also is knowledgeable about where to find the various wildlife and keeps in radio contact with the other guides about recent sightings. He has a lot of info on the animals on breeding, habitats, etc but only when asked. He did not freely offer the information. You must ask him each time you see something to tell you about that specific group of animals. If you want to be back at the lodge early to relax or for some reason, make sure the guide understands this. It is your private safari and you decide when you go back to the lodge but at times they get excited and do not follow the request.
Be aware of the need for an ETA visa to fly into Kilimanjaro that you can apply for before arrival to save time at the airport when you arrive. Also there is a small airport at the Serengeti if you would like to make it a one way trip and possibly add Zanzibar to the end of your trip. Our last day was about 8 hours of driving and 3 hours of safari to get from the Serengeti back to Arusha for flights departing at 6:30 am arriving in Arusha at 6:45 pm.
The land cruisers are equipped with a cooler for bottled water (provided) and snacks. Verify it is working before departure. In hot weather cold water is more enjoyable. Our cooler didn’t work. There is an inverter for occasional charging of devices (2 hours at a time).
All in all it was a great trip at a reasonable price. Lodges were very nice. Nothing was 5 star but it more than met our expectations.

Tanzania Wildheart was hospitable and genuinely concerned about our experience in Tanzania
5/5

Goodluck was quick to respond to our (my wife and I) messages and was very understanding for all our asks. He accomodated us for matters he did not need to. For most of our trip, we toured through the safaris of Tanzania with Kefas who was eager to explain the wildlife. He had a pride and passion to give visitors a truly magical experience. He skillfully navigated through the safari like it was his backyard. I wholeheartedly recommend Tanzania Wildheart.

I highly recommend Tanzania Wildheart Adventures. They made booking easy and answered any questions we had prior to arrival. Our guide Kefas was amazing!! He was so knowledgeable about the animals, the Maasai tribe, the terrain, etc. He also had soooo much patience and always wanted to make sure we got the best photos we could before moving on. The accommodations and food were beyond expectations and we always felt very safe. If you plan to do a safari...JUST DO IT!! And make sure to book with Tanzania Wildheart Adventures...and ask for Kefas as your guide.

An amazing safari tailored to our needs, delivering knowledgeable and exciting animal encounters.
5/5

We were impressed by the speedy response to emails (thanks Goodluck) and delivery of what was promised. The organization, accommodation and meals were excellent and the cherry on the cake was our guide Kephas. What an amazing experience to travel through the Serengeti with a guide so dedicated, knowledgeable and informative: we got to see the wildebeests crossing the River Mara ( and one female make the return journey because her calf hadn’t crossed); a pride of lions with cubs feasting on a zebra; hippos in the pools and river, cheetahs, a leopard, buffalo, many elephants and different gazelle and monkeys, baboons and birds to name a few. We highly recommend Tanzania Wildheart Adventures for an unforgettable safari experience.
