A Perfect Serengeti Safari with Roadside Expedition
I recently returned from a 5-night, 6-day Serengeti safari with Roadside Expedition, and it exceeded all my expectations. I had high hopes going in, but the experience was truly beyond what I imagined.
Our guide, Gadiel, was the highlight of the trip. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable and professional, but his kindness and attention to detail made us feel comfortable every step of the way. There are no words for how amazing this experience was. Our organizer, Zepha, was a very reliable person and was easy to reach. Mr. Walter was our guide, and we are all so grateful for him. Zephaniah was very flexible in customizing our itinerary to our needs.
We highly recommend our safari guide, Justin. He was thorough with our itinerary and was quick to learn what would excite my family. After we started our tour, we mostly just relaxed and enjoyed it while he took us to his targeted game drives for what he wanted to show us each day. He is extremely knowledgeable and was able to show us 80% of wildlife (animals and birds) species that Tanzania has to offer. My whole family felt like we learned a lot about wildlife, animal behavior, and patterns of how the whole ecosystem operates. We were lucky enough to be at right spot at right time to watch three cheetahs hunt and kill wildebeest.
Accommodations are decent with staff always willing to go above and beyond in making you comfortable.

Amazing experience
My husband & I had the best experience using Tanzania Roadside for our honeymoon! We went to Rwanda, Tanzania, and Zanzibar. Planning with Paul was super easy; he responded quickly and was open to my suggestions for changes. He even personally met us when we first arrived in Tanzania and before we left for Zanzibar.
Our guide Ezekiel was awesome. He escorted us from Arusha to Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, & Ngorongoro quickly and safely. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the area, animals, etc. He knew the best places to spot wildlife and always drove us to the best viewing spots, and we were lucky enough to see the Big Five! Ezekiel made sure we were comfortable, and he was flexible & patient with us about scheduling our days.
We can't recommend Tanzania Roadside enough and are already planning our return!

Great Plan, Great Guide-Driver & Wonderful Experience
We chose Tanzania Roadside Expeditions because the staff were so prompt, informative, patient and flexible as we were planning a nine-day Safari. We got a great guide, Laurian, who was so knowledgeable, flexible, funny and nice. One's guide is critical and we feel so lucky to have gotten Laurian as the three of us (my husband, Laurian, and I) were together for many hours.
We saw the big 5 (Lions, Elephants, Rhinos, Leopards, and Buffalos) the wildebeests crossing the Mara, three pairs of lions mating, a mama and baby leopard, and amazing birdlife, including a Kori Bustard with its necked ballooned.
We also loved the visit to two amazing tribes near Lake Eyasi -- could have spent even more time exploring around there!

The Great Wildebeest Migration - Magnificent! Unforgettable!
Our guide/driver Mr. Ezekiel Senkoro is a really seasoned professional. Though the chance of seeing all the Big 5 through this trip is likely at 50/50, but his effort of finding them is always 100%. So thankfully, we saw all the big 5, including two black rhinos, plus several times of legions of wildebeest crossing over Mara River.
The operator's response to my initial inquiry for a customized safari was swift and managed to secure one of the lodges that was in high demand.
