Magical!
Amazing accommodation provided in such a serene eco friendly way! The team led by Nelson, Teresa and Francisco were very effective and all my needs were attended to in a very timely manner! And when I needed extreme silence to be with myself, I got exactly that! Wonderful experience!

We stayed at Charming Eco Homes one night after 7 days of safari, before catching our flight back home. The staff was very nice to us and they treated us like family; Teresa prepared for us a very good dinner and breakfast. The hotel is comfortable and clean; we also appreciated the surrounding area where we took a stroll and met a lot of kind people. Everyone was welcoming us, as if they knew us! Amazing safari
When my friend and I first arrived in Arusha my phone broke… luckily Nelson was there and went out of his way to organize someone on a Sunday who could fix it. That sums up the type of person he is. Very caring and kind, him and his family are such beautiful people. They made their home a wonderful space for travelers to stay at, the rooms have warm showers ( rare for Tansania), a mosquito net and big beds. Also, the cooking of the wife is AMAZING. And that was just the stay, the safari was unforgettable. We had a private car with a driver who went out of his way to show and find us the coolest animals and we even saw a lion eating a zebra! Since we are budgeting, we were a bit worried about pricings but we got all of this for 300£!!! This included, accommodation, food, airport pick up and the safari!
I can only highly recommend this experience if you are on a budget but still don’t want to miss out on anything

The safari experience with the Ultimate Africa Journeys had the perfect balance of excitement and comfort.
My friend and I went on a day-trip at Tarangire national park with our amazing guide+private vehicle. Watching all the wildlife such as zebras, giraffes, monkeys and giraffes, the game-ride through the park, and seeing all the unique plants kept me captivated the whole time!
I would never forget the sight of seeing a young lion eating a zebra under the bush!!!
We also loved the accommodation suggested by our amazing host Nelson. Eco-home stay at Maji ya chai had such a warm atmosphere and the meals were incredible! We requested a vegetarian meal and we had the best 3-course meals we’ve had in Tanzania. We even asked for the recipe of a few dishes at the end!
The biggest reason I would suggest them is the amazing host Nelson.
He’s hospitality was smooth, caring and very professional from the start to the very end. Thanks to Nelson, we’re were able to enjoy our special adventure with security and comfort.
We look forward for a chance to visit other safari’s in Arusha and we are already excited to spend our time with the Ultimate Africa Journey family again.

Safari 4 days
Fantastic experience. Cozy place, Nelson and family are kind and super helpful. Apartment clean and super comfortable to start safaris.
Nearby airport of both Arusha and Kilimanjaro. Great food.
They set us up on the safari tour and it was an experience I will carry for a lifetime. Everything went perfectly, driver and cook beautiful people who accompanied us in the 4 days of safari.
Recommendation to everyone this experience.

Lifetime experience
First of all, safari trip is a lifetime experience. Everyone should do it at least once in his life.
Secondly, this is a real local safari agency. Our friends who went there the previous year recommended Nelson and his family.
Our experience was amazing, nothing went wrong. They are based in Arusha, where all the safari trips start (Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro). The Airbnb is very cozy and clean. You are going to spend the first (and the last) night here and in the early morning you are going to leave towards the national park with a personal driver, who is very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna, and a personal chef, who is going to prepare you delicious and very abundant food. During these days, you are deeply connected with the nature and you will be surrounded by lot of animals such as lions, elegant, gnu, giraffe, buffalo, and so on.
Very kind people, very friendly staff, an experience I will bring with me forever.
