Our 5-day safari with Edward’s team at Amshari Adventures was an unforgettable experience, seamlessly blending adventure, comfort, and expert guidance. The itinerary—spanning Tarangire National Park, the iconic Serengeti, and the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater—exceeded all expectations.

The lodges, particularly in Karatu and the Serengeti, were exceptional, offering both luxury and immersion in nature. The staff across all locations were professional, attentive, and dedicated to ensuring our comfort throughout the journey.
*Guide Excellence:*
Our guide, Rajab, was the highlight of the trip. His passion for wildlife and deep knowledge of the ecosystems brought every moment to life. Beyond his expertise, Rajab’s warmth and attentiveness made us feel genuinely cared for. He masterfully tracked the Big Five, spotting them multiple times, and even orchestrated a rare thrill: witnessing a cheetah’s live hunt of zebras—an awe-inspiring spectacle we’ll never forget.
*Unmatched Experiences:*
From the vast herds of Tarangire to the Serengeti’s golden plains and Ngorongoro’s concentrated wildlife, every park offered unique wonders. Rajab’s sharp eye and storytelling transformed game drives into immersive learning adventures.
*Minor note for improvement:*
During safari planning, it would have been helpful to know about Arusha’s closer domestic airport for our Zanzibar connection, rather than flying from farther Kilimanjaro Airport.

Once in a lifetime safari experience.
When planning our trip to Tanzania, we stumbled over Amshar Serengeti Adventures on Insta and double checked ratings on TripAdvisor. The communication with Edward was prompt and easy. As we wanted to organize the different parts of the holiday separately, we decided for the local operator Amshar.
We started with a fly-in to the Serengeti (1,5 days), followed by Ngorongoro (1 day), Lake Manyara (1 day) and Tarangire (1 day). First two nights we stayed in excellent tented camps (Kon Tiki (preferred) and Heritage). Then we had 2 nights at Kankari Lodge, which were very comfortable and we enjoyed the pool after lots of dust on the roads. Last night in Arusha we loved the Planet Lodge with its beautiful garden. All lodges were proposed by Amshar and we were fully satisfied. Amshar additionally organized our first night on Zanzibar (before the Safari) and the transfer to the beach hotel after the Safari.
Our driver was Loth (the eagle eye). He showed us the Big Five, had additional information about the various species and involuntary showed us his driving skills, when pulling another Landcruiser out of the mud. Specially he (and we) enjoyed the playing with our 5-year old boy.
In total: This was an incredible experience and Amshar organized the whole Safari excellent. If possible, we would come back some time and would prefer Amshar again.

This is an organizer with great service, a very good program and an excellent guide.
It is hard for me to describe the value for money, because with them every moment is priceless, every moment is worth the entire amount paid for the safari. Our driver and guide was Stanley, who was a treasure trove of knowledge and a source of information about everything that was happening around us, his calmness and professionalism were invaluable and even in the hardest moments of our safari he behaved calmness and professionalism. If you want to go on safari choose Amshar, you will have something to remember for the rest of your life.

Unforgettable 6-Day Safari in Tanzania!
Our 6-day safari was an incredible adventure, made even better by our amazing guide, Loth! He was super friendly, knowledgeable, and ensured we had the best wildlife sightings.
We explored several national parks, saw the Big Five, and took in breathtaking landscapes. Every day was filled with excitement, and Loth’s expertise made it all the more special. The accommodations and food were great, and everything was well-organized.
If you're planning a safari in Tanzania, we highly recommend it—especially with Loth as your guide! An unforgettable experience!

Great Adventure, Great Guide
Our trip with Amshar, and specifically Aloyce was incredible. The company was very easy to work with and adjust to our schedule before arrival. Our guide, Aloyce was hillarious, with an infectious laugh while also being knowledgeable about the area and animals. We saw and experienced more than we dreamed we would and I think Aloyce's expertise played a part. We also really enjoyed coming in the off-season (January) for the cooler temps and smaller crowds.

Amshar provided excellent customer service from start to finish.
From the beginning, Edward was very communicative about our itinerary, billing, and the pickup. We did 5 nights with our guide Aloyce. He was an expert driver and game finder. We ended up seeing some incredible sites, like cheetah taking down a zebra. Our accommodations were wonderful as was the food. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Best experience ever
From pre-trip communication with Edward to the actual safari tour with Rajab, Amshar Serengeti delivered the most memorable experience we’ve ever had. Every detail was planned very well, and communications were smooth and timely. Our tour guide Rajab is the best. He was very positive and friendly, knowledgeable of all of the animals and whereabouts in the park, and flexible to our special requests. We got to see all big 5 and even spotted multiple hunting from lions and cheetah with Rajab’s help. Can’t say more to praise the company and would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to have the best experience in Tanzania.

Good communication
We had a great time during our safari tour with our guide Rajab! He is passionate and knowledgeable. We asked many questions about animals, Tanzania, local people and etc, and Rajab never got annoyed and was always happy to answer our questions and provided us a lot of good information! We are like family during this 7-day tour and we will also recommend our guide to our other friends.

Chasing Lions!
Amshar Serengeti Adventures completely designed and tailored this trip for us to fit within our timetable. It was incredible and amazing. Our driver, Major, was super knowledgeable, funny, kind, patient and chased down leopards, prides of lions, elephants, and rhinos just so we could have the most epic experience — which we totally did. These guys are THE BEST!!!
