Reliable and fully supportive
5/5

We booked our 5-days Safari with Colors Africa - all was great! The level of service before, during and after the tour has been excellent! We were followed by Grace who gave us an amazing support throughout all the journey! The package we selected was including accomodations, excursion and meals (served at the accomodations) - also the choice of hotels and tours was in line with our expectations! The drivers who guided us during the Safari always friendly and available to support us in any need (kudos especially to Isaac who was our guide thru Serengeti e Ngorongoro who led us to spot all the big 5!)
Also we had the possibility to adapt our journey based in what we wanted to visit - we found very good support and flexibility from the agency!
Last but not least, the company helped us with arranging our stay and activity in Zanzibar.
All we can say is the we strongly recommend to contact Colors Africa if you are planning your trip in Tanzania!

Enthusiastic, knowledgeable and always customer first
5/5

We had an amazing trip. Colours took our comments into account in planning our itinerary and we got to see everything we wanted to. Since it was a private tour we were able to make minor changes here and there depending on how we feel on the day, like taking the afternoon easy to chill at the hotel or getting up early to do a longer drive for a day trip.

Our driver/guide was polite, enthusiastic and very knowledgeable about everything Tanzania from culture to wildlife. I was very impressed by his knowledge of wild animals and in particular birds as we are very interested in bird watching.

Even when something unexpected occurred such as when our private jeep broke down on the way to pick us up from hot air balloon safari, Colours arranged us to do our game drives for the day with another driver and we still got to do our picnic in the bush and saw a lot of amazing animals that day.

We also felt how eager our driver/guide, Nicholas, their office representative (who handled all of my questions relating to itinerary and everything else), Justin, and their manager were to ensure that we have a good time during our stay in Tanzania.

Apart from colours we also obtained quotations from a few other travel agents. Colours stood out to us based on my interaction with Justin and the activities and itinerary that were planned for us. I thought the itinerary struck a good balance between the amount and variety of activities and free time for us to lay back and enjoy the safari/accomodation and take things slower to rest. After all we were on holiday. I also thought with the quality and amount of activities and accommodation we got, Colours provided a very competitive pricing.

All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our trip and would recommend Colours.

Wonderful experience!
5/5

We had a wonderful time in Tanzania with colours tours! We've visited Ngorongoro, Ndutu and Serengeti, seen plenty of animals, and big 5 of course! Our guide Norton is excellent. He drives good and safe, and always keep searching the hidden animals. He speaks good English and easy to communicate. Also I would like to say thanks to Jemesina. She helped us to organize the tour and fulfill all our requests. She responsed every email so quick and understand what we are expecting. Every hotel she arranged are clean and nice. We got a very nice and unique experience!

Amazing Company
5/5

We had an absolutely incredible experience with this company. Nasra our main contact was extremely responsive , efficient and courteous. We were received promptly at the Zanzibar airport. A word of caution though the airport can be very slow in terms of immigration so it's essential to get your visa and also zanzibar travel insurance in advance online and print before arriving. Its $100 for the visa and $44 for the insurance. Also currency exchange is very difficult outside the airport so get it while here.
Also be prepared that the local air travel can be chaotic and flights frequently can be delayed, cancelled or even re routed. However the people of Tanzania are just lovely and kind and so polite always that no inconvenience can seem too bad.on our first day we toured Stone Town with Muhajir a wonderful young man and he gave us a fantastic tour of this historic district. We stayed at the Gran Melia Arusha, the Escarpment luxury lodges, Melia Serengeti, the Ndutu Kati Kati tented camp and The Lux Marjiani. The Melia Serengeti and Lux Marjiani stand out as absolutely perfect. I would recommend just 1 night for the tented camps for the real Safari experience. Godlisten greeted us in Arusha and was wonderful. However i must reserve my highest praise for Isaac our guide for 5 days. I cant say enough good things about him.
Such a polite, knowledgeable and fantastic guide.
Hands down he made our experience a 20 out of 10.
His driving skills are top notch and his knowledge and keen eyesight helped us see every single wild animal. All in all this is a great tour company and i would recommend them without any hesitation.

Helpful and kind
5/5

We chose Colors Africa as the local agency for our trip to Tanzania, and we couldn't have made a better choice! From the beginning, the organization was impeccable.

The trip was a perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. The safaris gave us unique emotions: we were lucky enough to see many animals, including all the "Big Five", in breathtaking landscapes. Our guide: Kindu was very good and helpful; he told us a lot of very interesting details about what we saw. Kindu, in addition to being very knowledgeable, enriching each experience with fascinating stories and details about the local fauna and culture, was also very kind and friendly with us, making it a pleasure to share our days with him.
An excellent conclusion, a little different from the rest of the holiday, was the excursion to the waterfalls on the last day: a magical place that left us speechless, perfect for ending the trip with an indelible memory. After the walk to the waterfall we also participated in an interesting workshop for the creation of coffee!!

Even the logistical details (transport, accommodations, meals) were organized in an optimal way, ensuring a carefree vacation.

I highly recommend Colors Africa to anyone thinking of traveling to Tanzania. 🌍🦁✨

Professional local operator w/ responsive service, great guides, & excellent value for a top safari
5/5

We just completed a 6-night, 7-day private safari with Colours Africa Tours, and the experience exceeded all expectations. From the very beginning, working with Nasra, our sales contact, was a pleasure. Her responsiveness and attention to detail through WhatsApp made planning effortless, and she readily adjusted our itinerary to perfectly match our preferences.

We're happy with the decision to choose a local Arusha-based tour operator, as it offered exceptional value for the experience. The accommodations at tented camps within the national parks were fantastic, immersing us in the natural beauty of the parks.

Our guide, Norton, was a highlight for us. He was the perfect addition to our small group. His expertise and intuition led us to some incredibly rare and special wildlife sightings. What impressed us most was his ability to anticipate animal movements and position the vehicle for optimal viewing angles, even during popular sightings where multiple vehicles were present.

Norton's vehicle was impeccably maintained, clean, and comfortable, making our long days of game drives a pleasure. His knowledge of the area's wildlife and ecosystems was impressive, but it was his good-natured personality and sense of humor that really made the experience special. We shared many laughs throughout the journey, and he added a lot to our overall experience.

We visited the Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire National Park (where we did a walking safari and a night drive, we highly recommend both). Each location offered unique and incredible experiences. Norton's expertise enhanced every moment of wildlife viewing, ensuring we got the most out of each location.

Thanks to Colours Africa and Norton, we saw some truly unforgettable and rare wildlife moments. This trip exceeded our expectations in every way. We wholeheartedly recommend Colours Africa Tours and Safari (and Norton!) to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania. It was truly a trip of a lifetime!

memories for life
5/5

We had a wonderful time with our guide Walter and our
cook Souley, both were just perfect and caring.
They did much more than expected, Walter is as good a driver as a guide
to find out animals, including the rarest of all, a rhino.
Lots of lions, elephants, giraffes, etc, etc.
Souley made a very good cuisine and out of this world crepes, even
better than in Brittany, the home of crepes!!
And much more, they are very friendly.
Congratulations to Colours Africa Tours for the no-fault holidays we could enjoy.

Benjamin was informative and took amazing pictures and videos with my binoculars and iPhone.
5/5

Our safari with Colours Africa Tours was amazing and our guide (Benjamin) was the best. He was informative, had a great eye seeing animals and took incredible pictures/videos with my binoculars and iPhone. We saw 4 of the big 5, with only the rhino that we didn’t see. Except for our first night lodging (a bad smell from the swampy location), the glamping sights were nice and all the workers were super friendly and helpful. I’d enthusiastically recommend CAT to any of my friends who were going to Tanzania on safari.
