Trip of a Lifetime!
My friends and I had an amazing time in Tanzania with Lion King Adventures. The office staff who planned our trip were super helpful and accommodating, and our two guides (Yusuf and Leonard) went above and beyond to make our trip comfortable and memorable. They were incredibly knowledgeable, answering any and all questions we had, and had a 6th sense for pointing out animals that other safari cars seemed to pass right by (we managed to see the Big Five, and so much more!). Our meals each day were delicious, and our accommodations at night were excellent. I'd recommend this tour company and Yusuf & Leonard a thousand times over - they truly made this the trip of a lifetime for our group, and we will never forget the wonderful experience they gave us.

Once in a lifetime experience!
To celebrate my mother's 80th birthday, our family embarked on an 8-day safari trip with Lionking Adventures. There were 15 of us, ranging in age from 10 to 80, traveling in three cars with three guides/drivers. We visited Tarangire National Park, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater. We stayed at five different lodges and on January 1st, we flew over the vast Serengeti plains in a hot air balloon.
In Tarangire National Park, we saw a variety of wildlife. In the Serengeti, we witnessed the vast landscape and the migration of hundreds of thousands of zebras and wildebeests heading to the southern plains to have their babies, with other animals scattered everywhere. Our final park visit was to Ngorongoro Crater, where the landscape was incredibly beautiful. Among other things, we saw five rhinos, completing our search for the Big Five (elephant, buffalo, black rhinoceros, lion, and leopard).
The lodges we stayed in each had unique characteristics, with Manyara's Secret and Nyota Luxury Camp being the most amazing. Sitting outside the lodges and watching animals like zebras, giraffes, and buffalo casually roam around was incredible. Flying over herds of zebras and wildebeests on the first day of the year was indescribable, with people below shouting "Happy New Year" from below.
I give Lionking Adventures my highest recommendations. The office (Pendo) who planned the trip for us was very helpful in organizing the trip for our group. Our guides Ozzy, Salehe, and Geoffrey were amazing. They did everything they could to give us the best experience. They knew everything about the animals and did an amazing job of sharing it in a way that made everything interesting and easy to understand.
The cars were extremely clean and well-equipped, always filled with cold drinks, and the meals were very good. They planned the days well and went above and beyond every step of the way to make them as interesting as possible. Salehe, who was in charge of the children's car, deserves a medal for his patience and for giving them so much fun the whole time.
We will cherish this trip for as long as we live.

Perfect safari week full of nature highlights and fun!
Lion King organized a perfect 6 day safari for us. Their suggestions for where and how to visit Tanzania’s best parks were superb. Our guide, Suleiman, was highly knowledgeable, confident and competent, super fun, and always went the extra mile so we could have an unforgettable experience and enjoy our time to the max. All the lodges were superb. And the nature was simply sublime! We got to experience 4 very different parks, each with countless highlights. From the beautiful baobab trees and huge elephant herds of Tarangire… To the non stop nature explosion of Serengeti and Ngorongoro where we saw every possible animal and plant species and those unforgettable sceneries… to the amazing village tour of Mto Wa Mbo where we even had banana beer and then walked around Lake Manyara, where we also had our last picnic including the courtesy wine Lion King gifted us. They were also completely flexible around our traveling times, which proved vital as our airline changed our flights several times. Lion King is amazing!!

An absolutely outstanding experience during calving season!
An incredible experience during the calving season!
We just could not have asked for more - saw lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffalos, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, jackals, foxes etc - and even a lioness make a kill right in front of our eyes!
The experience would not have been possible without our cool, calm, collected & vastly experienced driver-guide Joseph - who always had a penchant for what was ‘likely to happen’ & got us front-row seats to the action nearly each time. Could not recommend Joseph more for the adventure of a lifetime.
And certainly the experience wouldn’t have been the same without the excellent service provided by the team at Lion King Adventures - especially Naurey who really went out of her way to ensure we had the best trip possible.

An AMAZING experience!
We have just finished our 5 days circuit with Lion Kings Adventures where my husband and I were able to visit Tarangire national park, Ngorongoro Crater conservation area, Serengeti national park and Lake Manyara.
WHAT AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE and I can tell that our outstanding guide Ozzie (Oswald Shawo) has highly contributed to our unforgettable days. He was really nice and kind, super professional and a great expert of the safari topic, always caring a lot about our safety, confort and enjoyment. Everyday cleaned the car, refilled the fridge with our favorite drinks, kindly answered our million questions and showed up every morning really fresh and with a big smile bringing an amazing energy to the adventure.
Our car (Toyota Land Cruiser) was very confortable and really cared and prepared for the heavy “African massage” ☺️. We didn’t encounter any technical issue during our days.
So I can only thanks Lion King Adventure for such a great dream trip!
If we have the chance to come back to Tanzania, you can be sure we will book this with Lion Kings Adventures again!

Lion King is an exceptionally caring safari operator
We booked a 9-day safari directly through Lion King. All of our wishes were implemented during the planning. The lodges and camps met all of our expectations and we were treated warmly and caringly everywhere. Especially because we both became very ill on our trip... Shaby, our incredible guide, was there for us the whole time and helped us to make sure that this trip ended up being a good one! The agency was also incredibly flexible when we had to book an additional flight. Our lodges and camps were: Gran Melia Hotel (Arusha), Lemala Mpingo Ridge Lodge (Tarangire National Park), Nyota Luxury Camp (Serengeti National Park), Lake Masek Tented Lodge
(Ndutu Area), Gibb's Farm (Ngorongoro Crater).
Tanzania with its incredibly friendly and warm-hearted people and the inexhaustible diversity of its animals and cultures will always remain in our memories!

Professional company with great employees.
My family and I traveled in January '25 with Lion King Adventures. I booked the Safari (6 days medium luxury) on my own to save money from the middleman/travel agency. The company was very responsive and professionel from start to finish. We had a fantastic trip and we saw a lot of exciting animals and scenery. We were in Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. The highlight for us was probably the Serengeti where we saw the endless grasslands and found lions out in the middle of nowhere. There we had 2 nights in camp Nyota, which is centrally located in the park without enclosure. It was glamping at its finest where some animals (hyena/lion/hippo/buffalo) walked through the camp during night time. Our guide Salehe did everything he could to find the animals when the rarer species hid. He was generally a funny and nice guy and at the same time very professional. The Safari jeep was new and in good condition. Salehe was up and cleaning it daily before each game drive.
I can only recommend the company and our guide. The trip was a great experience.

We want to give a special mention to George, who welcomed us at the airport with warmth and professionalism. Not only did he ensure a smooth transfer, but he also went above and beyond by offering a guided tour of Arusha, giving us a wonderful glimpse of the city and its vibrant culture.
The accommodations arranged by Lion King Adventure were nothing short of exceptional. Every lodge was carefully selected to provide both comfort and a sense of being immersed in nature. A particular highlight was Nyota Luxury Camp, located inside the Serengeti. Staying in this luxurious camp allowed us to feel so close to nature and wildlife—it was an experience unlike any other. Falling asleep to the sounds of the Serengeti and waking up to breathtaking views made our stay unforgettable. We even had buffalo visitors, a thrilling reminder of how deeply we were connected to the wild!
The true star of our adventure, however, was Ezekiel, our safari guide. His unparalleled knowledge of Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, and Serengeti brought every location to life. He seemed to know every hidden trail and every corner of the parks, ensuring we never missed a moment of the incredible wildlife. From spotting elusive animals to sharing fascinating insights about the ecosystem, Ezekiel’s expertise and passion turned an amazing trip into a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

A Perfect Safari Experience with Lion King Adventures
Our safari with Lion King Adventures was beyond incredible! From start to finish, the team ensured everything was perfectly organized. Pendo tailored an itinerary to suit our budget and schedule, and the lodges and tented camps she selected were outstanding—every stay was a highlight of our trip.
Before departure, Naurey from the same team provided detailed pre-trip information and meticulously checked everything to ensure our trip was flawless. Her care and attention to detail gave us great confidence before setting out.
One of the most special moments was celebrating my husband’s birthday. Thanks to Pendo, the lodge arranged a birthday cake with an unforgettable African style acelebration. It was a truly memorable evening.
Our guide, Benjamin, was phenomenal. He was kind, knowledgeable, and passionate about sharing Tanzania’s wildlife and culture. His incredible spotting skills allowed us to see not only the Big Five (with numerous lion sightings!) but also a wide variety of other animals.
On our last day, Benjamin’s advice to reach Kilimanjaro Airport 3 hours early was spot-on. Because the airport process was super slow.
I cannot recommend Lion King Adventures highly enough. Their professionalism, warmth, and expertise made our safari a once-in-a-lifetime experience. If you’re planning a trip to Tanzania, they are the team to trust!

Amazing and brilliant
One of the best holiday experiences we have ever had! The trip was so immaculately planned - right from us browsing their website (btw whoever has done the website copy deserves a raise :)) to talking over emails with Elia and Rose, who were so prompt to replying to all our queries right down to our amazing guide Joseph who was just so skilled, polite, patient and made sure we did not miss absolutely anything. We saw the BIG 5 and captured 4 with our lens for posterity! All the different hotels we stayed at were such a cherry on top, with amazing views, spectacular rooms and impeccable service. But the best part of the trip was the ride in Serengeti! Only regret we may possibly have is not spending more days in Serengeti , we will definitely be back!
