Fantastic trip and service by Safari360
Our experience with Safari360 was absolutely fantastic, and we couldn’t be happier with our guide, Dieter. He was incredibly reliable, knowledgeable, and made us feel completely safe throughout the entire safari. Dieter had an exceptional eye for spotting wildlife and always went above and beyond to ensure we saw as much as possible. He was incredibly service-minded, attentive to our wishes, and made every moment of the trip enjoyable and seamless.
The entire booking and payment process with Safari360 was straightforward and hassle-free. Their professionalism and attention to detail made planning the trip effortless.
We would highly recommend a safari in Serengeti — the time we spent there was truly unforgettable. I would really recommend to do at least four days, but probably 5-6 days with main focus on Serengeti. The stunning landscapes, abundant wildlife, and exceptional service from Safari360 made this a once-in-a-lifetime experience. If you’re considering a safari, don’t hesitate to book with them and request Dieter as your guide — you won’t regret it!

Most amazing place Tanzania! I recommend it for those who love wildlife and nature.
The views were exciting and beautiful. The camp sites were better than I expected. The lunches were not good. After seeing the animals and driving on a bumpy road you want a good lunch. The carrot sandwich was creative but terrible. I also didn’t appreciate not being told going to the Musai village would be a fee. I had to pay when I arrived after they dressed me in there garments. Overall a excellent trip.

The right company to choose. Wished we would of taken a longer tour!
We had an amazing 5 day tour with Idi, and we enjoyed it very much!
We recommend this company, as they are very reliable, informative, responsive and go amazing length to satisfy.
Planning the trip was easy, petro answered all of our questions, made changes to the trip according to our requests, upgraded us for no extra cost on the first night accommodation, and most importantly, helped me plan a beautiful proposal! They did it so discreetly my fiancé never suspected anything!
The cars are very well built, we had outlets for charging and a fridge for our drinks. All of our bags were safely buckled and covered so won't get dusty.
The only things I would say are missing was some hot drinks and Internet connection on the roads (some other companies have WiFi in the cars, and would bring a picnic box to keep the lunch warm and hot water for coffee or tea). The AC didn't work in the jeep but honestly was not necessary as the weather was perfect, and on the long drive from the airport to the safari we were driven in a taxi which was comfortable, we were able to catch some sleep.
The guide we had was a natural, took us where we wanted, show to all the animals, great choice in hiring him! he even gave us really good binoculars so we were able to have a great game drive.
We had the most amazing time, don't hesitate, this is the right company to pick for an amazing experience of one in a lifetime.

The best safari
Wow wow wow - what a trip we had. We booked this back in January 2024 and Pedro was so helpful and responsive throughout the booking process. Later on we wanted to add a hot air balloon which was no issues whatsoever and organised very swiftly.
We arrived in Kilimanjaro and our bags never arrived. Lameck came to help straight away sorting it out with the airport staff. He stayed in touch with them throughout and got our bags delivered to the middle of Serengeti which was such a big help as we had no service and couldn’t speak the language.
Now for the trip - Lameck has a great eye for animals and can see from very far away which was insane.
We went on the four days three nights safari which is absolutely perfect. We took a several hour journey down to Lake Natron which was interesting after a 15 hour flight but once we arrived it was worth it. We did a hike up a waterfall which was very needed and then walked down to Lake Natron to see the flamingos we also got lucky and saw some baboons and zebras on route. We checked into our lovely glamping spot for the night. Food was lovely and the glamping spot was beautiful.
The next day we headed off to Serengeti another 5 hour journey but we got to see a lot of animals on the way. We then had a lovely lunch before entering Serengeti. We got to see a full pack of lions which we amazing, lots of Zebras, buffalo’s, giraffes, elephants and a cheetah. We then went to our stunning tented camping area in the middle of Serengeti. They had the bed all set up for our honeymoon with some wine which was really appreciated and our bags finally arrived. We hit the hay very early as we were up at 4 for the hot air balloon ride.
The hot air balloon ride was so surreal - we got so lucky on the drive there and saw a leopard out hunting a long with three lions. The company that organise the hot air balloon were amazing - the breakfast was stunning and they had a special cake for us for our honeymoon.
It was then time to head to Ngorongoro Crater. Magic. We saw lots of male lions and even saw a male lion protecting a female lion in heat. There was tons tons of zebras and wilderbeast. We were running out of time and still hadn’t seen a rhino. We went to a viewpoint on route to hotel and Lameck got the binoculars out and found one. Going above and beyond to make sure we saw the big five. We stayed in a lovely hotel that night and got a good nights sleep.
Next was our final day which we were very sad about. We went to Taringine Park were we saw a mummy lion feeding her two babies and a mummy elephant bathing her babies. It was just magical.
It was then time to go back to the airport. We loved every minute and can’t thank Lameck enough. He had so much information to share with us, a great eye and just so nice to spend our first few days of our honeymoon with. We will be forever grateful. Thank you!

Great Safari
It was great three days of safari thanks to Lameck & Safari360. We got to see the big 5 & had a cultural tour in the process. Nothing but praises & recommendations.

Ndutu is quite special during the calving season & we got to witness this amazing wonder. Kudos to Exaud for the superb driving & wildlife spotting skills. We saw more than we could have imagined & was a bit sad when it all ended. We will come back again Safari360.

I would advise you don't book
I have been to Kenya and Tanzania a number of times. This trip that I booked with Safari360 was my worst experience ever. I almost lost my life because Petro runs a business that uses totally filthy, substandard and unsafe vehicles, and crowns it with unprofessional drivers to take unsuspecting travelers for a ride. The first jeep that I was sent did not have any working windows or doors. They did not open from the inside, and had to be pried open from the outside by the Driver, whenever needed. That 2 seater jeep was filthy, smelled, and had one "functional" seat, but no seat belts. The driver had the switch to open and close the windows as the switches by the windows were inoperable. He smashed my fingers in the window a total of 4 times as he could not control the switch. When I asked for a replacement vehicle, I was sent a 6 seater Toyota Range Rover. At first I was relieved when I saw it from the outside. However, very soon I learned that it was no different from the first vehicle. I was basically made to jump from the frying pan into the fire. This vehicle had totally broken seats, no seat belts on any of the seats, and again doors and windows that were not operable from the inside, The vehicle appeared never to have been cleaned from the inside, but worst of all, various parts of this poorly maintained jeep kept breaking down. We had a total of 4 breakdowns with issues ranging from the rear axle, to the shock absorbers and followed by the struts. The final blow was when the brakes failed. The driver had to pull into mechanic shops at remote villages where we spent between 2 to 4 hours getting the repair work done. Petro, and his partner, who provides the transport, did not approve any fuel purchase along the way. As per his calculations he had provided enough fuel for the entire journey. At no point had he taken into consideration the lousy and treacherous road conditions and other factors that could and did affect the "mpg or kpl." I had to pay for the gas out of pocket as it was either that or be stuck in the middle of nowhere. The height of indifference and couldn't careless attitude on the part of Petro and his partner towards the safety of the Driver and me was reached when the brakes of the Range Rover failed as we were descending towards a valley on a very steep hill with a 7% grade, as the posted signs showed. We would have ended in a head-on collision with a truck that was going the opposite direction because the bus behind the truck decided to pass him without bothering to see if it was safe to do so. The road was very narrow in both directions. How we did not have a fatal collision with failed brakes is still a mystery to me, and gives me the creeps till today. Your entire life truly flashes before your eyes at that moment. After this incident we drove downhill to the very next village at 5kpl. We were fortunate to find a mechanic who spent 3 hours fixing the brakes. I have never had such a harrowing trip anywhere in the world since I have been traveling. Please, I advise you do not use Safari360. Petro's only objective is to make money. Period! He is an unscrupulous, unethical and unprofessional Safari Tour operator. Your safety is never his concern. I wonder if the Tanzanian Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism that issues Safari Operator licenses are even aware of how businesses are run once they issue the licenses. Does that department even have any checks and balances or monitor these businesses. Since Tourism is a major income generator for the government I am sure they would be interested in hearing about some of these horribly and unsafe practices by some tour operators. That is something worth looking into. Buyer Beware.

Posted on Feb 12, 2025Dear Aruna,
Many thanks for reaching out & airing out your concerns.
First & foremost let me take this opportunity to apologize for any shortcomings that you encountered on the safari.
The aim of the company is to provide unforgettable safaris that the client will always remember & not otherwise.
As human beings we all have our shortcomings & sometimes fall short of expectations for which we must apologize.
In the meantime, I must point out that for a safari to be successful communication between both parties should be open & free without any encumbrances.
You booked the 11-Day Grand Migration Safari in August 2024 & being a solo traveler we provided you with a 4-seater safari jeep for the tour. On the onset of the tour you were not happy with the jeep & the reason being that you required a 7-seater due to the fact that you were a photographer. If this information was communicated beforehand we would have provided you with an open jeep & the quote would have changed accordingly. We had to recall the jeep & thereby sent a 7-seater safari jeep. If you had any issue with the replacement safari jeep & driver the same should have been communicated to the office via email or whatsapp asap & we would have offered replacements for the same. We did this with the first safari jeep & would have done it again so as to ensure a great safari. Our safari guides are both great in spotting wildlife & also superb in elementary mechanics, and in your case the guide was able to diagnose & fix the issue quickly. This led to the successful completion of your 11 day tour.
Our fleet comprises of very well maintained and reliable land cruisers but unfortunately we don’t have a RANGE ROVER in the fleet as that’s a milestone yet to be achieved.
After the successful completion of the tour you booked our 11-Day Spectacular Tanzania Safari due to start in August 2025. Despite disagreements about the same we do hope that level heads will prevail & we look forward to hosting you again.

What a wonderful safari - big five, check
What a wonderful time we have on our safari with Witson from Safari360. We were picked up and spent the next four days in Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. What a amazing experience for us, a family of 5, being alone with our guide in the jeep for a few days. We saw elephants and giraffes passing by at arms length, lions eating breakfast in the morning. We almost got stuck in the mud at one time but the excellent guide fixed that too. That was also a experience for us. We saw the black rhino in Ngorongo Crater, lions casually sleeping at the side of the road. We managed to spot a cheetah far away and also a leopard relaxing in a tree. All this would not have been possible with a guide like Witson, who knew where to drive and look. The whole package was really good, from the food packages we hade every day to the accommodations we had in Serengeti and outside of the parks. We especially like the "Tukaone Serengeti Camps", where you sleep in tent-like houses in the national park. In the night we heard both lions and other animals that was passing by outside our room. My best possible recommendation to this company and our guide Witson.
