Great Tour, Great Guide, Great Experience, Amazing Accomodation.
We did a 3 day safari around Tanzania with Migration Venture Africa (MVA) in Jan '25. We were originally a bit nervous about the number of moving parts present in the safari however, we needn't have been.
Communication from MVA (via Amos) via email was prompt and always answered our questions. We were picked up from the airport by our guide, Josef, and went straight into our first day of safari.
Josef was brilliant on safari, he answered all our questions and seemed to have a sixth sense for finding a great viewing spot, even when it got relatively crowded. He also gave some interesting insights into local culture and what 'normal' Tanzanian life is like, which we really appreciated.
Josef would explain the plan for the next day as he dropped us off at our lodge and he was always ready and waiting for us (even though we were bang on with our timings).
In terms of Value for Money the tour price felt exactly right, especially given the invredible quality of our accommodation and number of parks we visited.
As Brits, we dislike the tipping culture. Although we understand that it's more common in other cultures, we would have preferred if the guides were paid fairly and the costs of this built into the upfront booking fee, perhaps add a digital service charge to the booking, avoiding the 'hidden cost' feeling.
All in all we'd thoroughly recommend Migration Venture Africa for anyone who wants to explore any of the national parks.

Memories to treasure forever.
We had an incredible 5-day safari with Migration Venture Africa from January 20 to January 24, 2025. Amos was our first point of contact. He was always available and was flexible enough to tailor the itinerary according to our needs.
Our guide, Noely, was exceptional—knowledgeable and helpful throughout the journey. We were lucky to have him as our guide. He had thorough information about the animals, the routes and the roads. He was always on time and made sure we spot all the Big Five including lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, and buffaloes, as well as cheetahs, warthogs, giraffes, zebras, and countless other animals in their natural habitat. We also saw the great migration of the wildebeest and zebras, which was an amazing experience! We can’t thank Noely enough :)
The accommodations and food exceeded our expectations. This was a well-organized and unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!

Helpful, organised, knowledgeable, quick to respond to queries
From the start, communication with Amos was easy and prompt. He answered all of our questions and was knowledgeable about the details of the national parks we wanted to visit. We met our driver Noel when we reached Arusha who was also excellent and talked us through the plan for each day. Noel expertly drove us around the 4 northern national parks and helped us spot several different animals, including several of the big 5 up close. He was professional and on time everyday and made our trip an unforgettable experience.
All the accomodation booked for us was of excellent quality and run by kind and helpful staff. The food provided was also fantastic and they were able to accommodate that we were vegetarians with no issues.
Overall, we had a great time and felt that we got very good value for what we paid. We would highly recommend Migration Venture Africa for safari trips.

Tour operator with nice attitude
The safari and the 2 days we spent with Migration Venture Africa was a great adventure for us.
Special thanks to the driver " Matata" who is a very-very nice guy with a perfect attitude towards us. He shared interesting data about the animals, had good English knowledge and tried to fulfil all our demands (getting to the airport in heavy Dar-es-Salaam traffic and back to the accommodation :-) ) He made our excursion even greater. The places we stopped on the way for breakfast and lunch were also fine.
The drive to Mikumi National Park was long but for a person coming from Europe interesting to watch the villages along the road, the way African people seam to live .
I wish Migration Venture many guests!

Professional and reliable
We booked online in November and Amos was our contact. We booked 5 days, 4 nights. We were picked up from Arusha and went to Tirangire National park and saw a good selection of wildlife, including large numbers of elephants. The lodge that night was great as were all the others we stayed in. The next day was the Ngorongoro view point, it is breathtaking, and then onto the Serengeti. It was difficult to take in everything we saw, and that is why I documented it. Cheetah, 19 lions in a group, wonderful birds including a Tawny Eagle and Maibou storks. We stayed overnight in the Serengeti, which was an amazing experience. Day 3 was Serengeti and I will never forget the sight of a female lion in a tree. That night we stayed at a lodge on the rim of Ngorongoro Crater. We were so cold when we went back to our wonderful room, and there were hot water bottles in the bed! Day 4 was the crater, and a huge amount of wildlife, including lions laying against our vehicle. Our last day was lake Manyara, and the sight of so many elephants, with their young, will stay with me forever.
Our driver/guide was Noely, and he was perfect for us. He had great knowledge of animals and birds, and went the extra mile to ensure we saw so much. He is interested in photography, and had his own camera. He gave great tips and advice so that we got amazing photographs. We drove approximately 1400 kilometres, and he was such a safe driver, and great company.
Trust amigration Safaris to see all the animals
We saw a ton of animals, the big 5 and beyond. Don't be shy to go in November, the weather is still very good and you'll have a chance to see all the animals. Joseph was a great guide and brought us to all the hot spots. We saw the big 5 and many more, Joe knows his trade. The highlight was a family of cheetas only a couple of meters away.

Migration Venture organised a first class safari
Everything was just right for our first ever safari. Accommodation was an excellent mix of luxury and tented types. Our driver, Peter, was superb - he knew the parks very well, where to find the animals, identifying the less common ones and drove brilliantly.
We visited Tarangire, Central Serengeti, Ngorogoro crater and Lake Manyara National parks and saw the big five as well as wildebeest, zebra, giraffes and more. We were lucky enough to to see a leopard and many cheetah as well.
Amos communicated well with us before the safari and all arrangements went very smoothly.
We had underestimated the distances between the parks and were scheduled to visit the Northern Serengeti as well but after discussion felt it was too far so Amos rearranged the accommodation whilst we were there, albeit we had to pay a supplement but it was worth it.
Ours was a 5 day mid range safari that was very good value for money. Some other operators seemed to be offering in my opinion unneccessary and presumably more expensive tour extras. We had everthing we could want, the vehicle was as comfortable as any can be.
All good.
