Warm welcome and great experience
We have had a wonderful second honeymoon. Contact with Coosje was very personal and the organization by her and Allan was perfect. It started with a stay in their beautiful Tanzania Safari Lodge followed by a great safari experience with guide Armani. Afterwards we went to Zanzibar for some relaxing days. From start to end, everything was well organized. Coosje gave us the opportunity to create great memories!

Amazing!
From start to finish, our safari experience was truly amazing. I can say with certainty that this is one of the best trips I have ever taken. Everything was perfectly organized, and we felt completely taken care of. Coosje and Alan's team welcomed us with open arms, and their warm reception made us feel comfortable right away.
Our guide Amani was a true professional. His extensive knowledge of the nature and animals in the parks made each drive an educational and beautiful experience. He knew exactly where to go to spot the most magnificent animals, which led to unforgettable moments. Amani's passion and enthusiasm were infectious, and we felt privileged to be on this journey with him.
We spent three days in three different parks, and each location offered a unique experience. From breathtaking views and diverse wildlife to discovering the local flora and fauna, each day brought something new and exciting. It was truly an adventure like no other.
Staying with Coosje and Alan felt like coming home. Their hospitality and personal approach made our stay extra special. The accommodation was comfortable and charming.
All in all, this safari was a wonderful experience that I wholeheartedly recommend to everyone. Coosje, Alan, and their team made an unforgettable trip possible. Thank you so much for this experience that we will cherish forever!

Our tour operator was very kind, experienced and great driver
This Safari trip has been amazing, and it was all thanks to somwhere in Africa. During the trip, we had a very experienced guide who knew everything necessary to be Able to see the animals from the best angles. Besides that, communication and the overnight stays all exceeded our expectations. This all made our trip a straight 10/10, an therefore I would recommend booking with somewhere in africa to anyone.

Unforgettable trip
Our safari was a dream come true, and it's all thanks to the fantastic work of "Somewhere in Africa." Everything was perfectly arranged. They made sure we didn’t have to worry about anything and could enjoy every moment! The communication with Coosje was clear and friendly, with a keen eye for our wishes.
During the safari, we were amazed by the beautiful lodges, stunning views, and a friendly guide. Spotting the Big Five was, of course, the highlight. It’s clear that "Somewhere in Africa" is passionate about what they do.
We ended our vacation with a week in Zanzibar, and unfortunately, it was a bit of a letdown... In Zanzibar, the location of where you stay is crucial and can make or break your holiday! The boutique hotel "Alma," where we stayed, was very small, with few activities and facilities, only one restaurant, and no beautiful beach. The beaches in general are dependent on tides, but the situation varies by location. We tried to find fun restaurants or bars along the beach, but there were hardly any, or they were closed. We later learned that it’s better to stay in the North (especially for a couple like us, aged 26 and 28).
Once we communicated this with the organization, they immediately took action and did their best to make things right. They contacted the hotel, and we received a complimentary massage and bottle of wine. We also had a planned excursion with "Safari Blue," but unfortunately, that didn’t meet our expectations either. Again, the organization took action and as compensation, arranged a trip to the north to go dolphin watching by boat, snorkeling, and visiting a sandbank. This was worlds apart from Safari Blue and an unforgettable experience!
Although Zanzibar didn’t meet our expectations, we look back on the holiday with a very warm feeling and highly recommend this organization for an experience you’ll never forget!

Fantastic!
What a fantastic holiday we had, and we owe it all to Coosje and Alen from Mlima! They organised our safari down to the last detail, and everything was perfect. From start to finish we felt really in good hands. Their personal attention and care made all the difference and made us feel welcome straight away.
The safari itself was a dream come true, and that was largely due to Amani, our guide. Amani is not only incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about nature, but he is also so warm, friendly and patient. He made us feel safe and at ease, and his enthusiasm for the animals and the environment was infectious. We learnt so much and enjoyed every minute of it.
Thanks to Coosje, Alen and Amani this really was the holiday of a lifetime. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a unique, heart-warming experience!

I had an amazing 5 day tent safari with Somewhere in Africa. The guide was really skilled and very kind. We saw the big 5 and many more animals. The cook was great and made sure we had a lovely dinner every evening. I felt really safe the whole time. I would definitely recommend this organization to anyone who wants an unforgettable experience!

One of the best experience of my life!
We did the 4 day safari and it was amazing! We saw a lot of beautiful animals and even a cheetah with a baby who was hunting. Our driver knew a lot about the animals and that’s how we got to see so many animals so close. We were almost always perfect in time before it got really busy. Would definitely book it again!

Amazing, something everyone should experience!
The contact with Alan and Coosje about all logistics was very friendly and adequate. Our guide Steve and cook Nico made the experience even more impactful, as they spotted the coolest animals and prepared the best dishes for us. Would definitely recommend "Somewhere in Africa" to anyone planning a trip to Tanzania!
