Amazing travelling with Lion Guides Safaris!!

Last year we met Lukiano during our safari in Tanzania. We had a great time.
Back home we couldn’t forget our great time in Tanzania, we wanted to go back because of all the stories Lukiano told us with a lot of passion for his work and country.
Lukiano made for us a great itinerary and so our journey together could start again.
Lukiano and Dorit, we want to thank you for this unforgettable trip!
Lukiano told us about Mount Meru and we wanted to take on the challenge to conquer the mountain. The crew who took care of us on the mountain was incredible, they are all friends for a long time and you felt really the warmth of everyone.
We really enjoyed climbing Mount Meru together but it didn't stop at this great adventure, it went so much further.
Lukiano put together our trip wonderfully! We asked to meet the local population and we got it so well. It started with meeting the family and village of Dorit and Lukiano, which was incredible.
Shopping and going to the market in Arusha, we also enjoyed that immensely. Meeting the different tribes (Hadzabe, Datoga, fishermen by Lake Eyasi), eating goat at the local market, a song especially for us on a boat in Lake Manyara, swimming in the waterfalls by Lake Natron, visiting the Masai and so on…It was really great and we enjoyed it to the fullest!
Early in the morning being eye in eye with an enormous group of Lions in Tarangire while the sun was rising was amazing, we will never forget! Even meeting 3 leopard on one day was unbelievable.
Also all accommodations and food were of the highest level!
Lukiano and Dorit have an incredible feeling for what their guests want and they do everything for their company Lion Guides Safaris. We wish you all the best and are very thankful for everything.

Very Great Safari Tour

The 3-day safari with Lucky was brilliant! He looks for animals, he sees them from afar, he can tell a lot about wild animals and if he is not sure, he reads up on them. He responded to our needs at all times and his very approachable manner created a great atmosphere! The food was great, not cold food from a lunch box, instead we got a warm freshly cooked menu, with salad and fresh fruit! I would book Lucky again at any time and can only recommend him.

Just back from an epic adventure in Tanzania's stunning national parks, masterfully organized by Dorit and expertly guided by her husband, Lukiano. This trip was more than just a safari; it was a journey into the heart of Tanzania's wildlife and the rich Maasai culture. The wildlife and scenery, from the Serengeti plains to the Ngorongoro Crater, were simply out of this world.

Perfect experience

The safari with Lukiano was perfect. He explains us everything about nature and wildlife. We can see that he really loves his job and make it unforgettable. We had the chance to see a lot of animals thanks to him, he knows by heart the wild life. Very friendly, patient and funny the all time. Our guide Lucky who loved animals so much is so kind and it was obvious that he cared about us by asking if we had any inconveniences. We were cared for as if we were something special. Also, he always answered my endless questions with a smile.

During the 5-day tour, we saw a lot of wild animals, talked about the Serengeti and the Masai Mara, and became friends. He treated us like a friend, not just a guide.

Super tour, Lucky is a great driver and tour guide, very well educated,flexible the food that he prepared for us was amazing! He is great with kids adapted to our tempo!
