excellent price-quality ratio
Budget safari that provides. We were accomodated in good-quality tents. Lodge area had good facilities: a decent restaurant, clean wc:s and showers with hot water. Our guide Tuhafeni was a helpful, hard-working professional and a generally nice guy. Even when the conditions were not ideal because of the recent rains, we were able to see lots of animals.
Well-Organized and Enjoyable Tour Experience
The tour was a great experience overall. Leonard was excellent at managing both time and logistics, which made the entire experience feel smooth and stress-free. I appreciated how he kept things moving efficiently while also allowing enough time to truly enjoy each stop.
Namibia itself is absolutely breathtaking, and I would recommend this tour to anyone!

Everything was perfectly organized!
My recent safari trip in Namibia was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to our incredible tour guide, Luke. From the moment we arrived, Luke's enthusiasm and deep knowledge of the region set the tone for an unforgettable adventure.
Luke's expertise truly shone throughout the trip. His keen eye for spotting wildlife and his extensive knowledge about the animals and their behaviors made each game drive fascinating. We saw lions, elephants, and even a rare sighting of a black rhino!
Luke also arranged a visit to a local Himba village, where we had the opportunity to learn about the traditional lifestyle and customs of the Himba people. His respectful and insightful approach made this cultural experience deeply enriching.
Our journey included a visit to the breathtaking Spitzkoppe, where we marveled at the stunning rock formations. We also had the exhilarating experience of climbing to the top of the Big Daddy dune, one of the tallest sand dunes in the world, offering spectacular views of the surrounding desert.
Additionally, we had a stunning desert experience with the skilled offroad driver, Froggy. His expertise in navigating the challenging terrain added an extra layer of excitement to our adventure.
Luke's passion for Namibia and his exceptional guiding skills made this safari an unforgettable experience. His ability to connect with each member of our group and tailor the experience to our interests was truly remarkable. I highly recommend a safari with Luke for anyone looking to explore the beauty and wonder of Namibia.

Reliable, professional and fun
Had a great 2 day trip with Leonard, Windhoek to Sossosvlei to Walvis Bay to Swakopmund and back to Windhoek.
Leonard was absolutely great! Friendly and reliable and with good chat almost like going with a friend. He is professional and knowledgeable and also a quick Namibian sand dune climber (equivalent to a Swiss mountain goat). Thanks for great days I will recommend you to friends.
Discover Namibia: Affordable Tours, Exceptional Service, and Unforgettable Adventures!
I contacted People Tours and Safari in February, and Aina (Maggie) was the contact person who answered my questions and worked with me to create our 15-day budget camping tour in Namibia, Botswana, and Zimbabwe. She was incredibly helpful, always responding quickly, sometimes even at night. Maggie is a very hardworking woman. She was also very patient, as I had many questions, and because my daughter was on a limited budget, Maggie made adjustments to our itinerary as needed.
We eventually finalized our itinerary, and just two days before we were about to pay the deposit and fly to Windhoek, Maggie informed me that the Moremi Game Reserve in Botswana was closed due to flooding. She suggested that if I had another agency after Namibia, we might want to consider switching to another company. I was surprised—why wouldn’t they try to keep the client? (The answer will come at the next.) In the end, she introduced us to another Botswana agency and even helped my daughter settle the bill for our next agency. Maggie was truly a helpful person. Although we figured things out on our own, her service came from the heart.
I later realized that the reason for switching agencies was that the tour guide in Namibia wasn’t allowed to guide tours in other countries. We ended up going to Zambia and Zimbabwe, and because of this rule, we had to switch companies in each country. That was something I hadn’t anticipated, but it didn’t detract from the overall experience.
Luke, our guide, picked us up on time. The company’s car was very comfortable, equipped with CarPlay, and it was a large Japanese 4x4 vehicle with a spacious trunk. Luke played great music every day, making our journey even more enjoyable. He is a very friendly, young, talkative, down-to-earth guy—patient and always helpful. I fondly remember the times we set up tents together, when he helped me climb Big Daddy in Sossusvlei and when I was scared of bugs, he’d always help me remove them. One time, I screamed at the lodge in Spitzkoppe, and Luke came to check if I was okay. He wasn’t just a good guide; he was also like a personal assistant. He helped me take pictures because my daughter was often away! He’s also good at photography, so you can rely on him if you have him as your guide. During the long rides, we shared stories, and after spending 10 days together—6 AM to 8 PM, from breakfast to dinner—we didn’t just feel like a guide and clients; we became friends.
After Luke picked me up at the airport and we arrived at the People Tours office, I realized that the currency exchange office had miscalculated and given me 200 Namibian dollars less (about 10€). Maggie was incredibly helpful and called the exchange office every day to follow up. After almost 7 days, when we passed by the airport on the way to Botswana, Luke took me back to the airport and helped me recover the N$200. This kind of service was outstanding—if this had happened in another country, I’m not sure I would have gotten the money back. Great job, Maggie and Luke!
I also noticed that Luke went out of his way to show kindness beyond the typical duties of a guide. On several occasions, he bought bread for the people who took care of his car. It was a thoughtful gesture that showed his generosity and compassion, making him not just a great guide but also a kind-hearted person.
Regarding the camping equipment, we were two travelers, so we were supposed to have one tent each. However, the tent is large enough for two people, so we used just one tent every night. If I had known we’d get everything double (like the lodge rooms, which we stayed in for two nights), I would have told Maggie we only needed one, perhaps saving a bit of money. They provided mattresses, sleeping bags, pillows, and extra blankets for the chilly nights. They also provided torch, European adapter with long cable so that you can charge your personal devices in the tent. I particularly loved the smell of the blankets and pillows—they were fresh and clean because they were brought to the laundry after every client used them. They also supplied unlimited bottles of water and garbage bags for our belongings, as they would get dusty after every ride.
One of the highlights of the experience was that People Tours and Safari offered us a private tour at a very reasonable price. It felt like a personal experience tailored just for us, but without the hefty price tag that usually comes with private tours. That was a wonderful bonus and made the trip even more special.
In conclusion, People Tours and Safari made our trip in Namibia unforgettable and memorable. With helpful staff, affordable prices, clean and comfortable equipment, and a polite and sympathetic tour guide, I highly recommend them. I would give them not just 5 stars, but ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Full Service Tour Company With Unforgettable Adventures!
The 5-Day Sossusvlei & Sandwich Harbour Photography Tour was the ultimate combination of relaxation and adventure! Luke was the best guide I could have asked for! He's thoughtful about your needs and is a fountain of knowledge for every aspect of the tour. His passion for sharing all of the amazing things Namibia has to offer is so contagious, you'll fall in love with all of the breathtaking nature he'll share with you. No matter what situation you're in, Luke will take care of everything. There was higher rainfall than usual which made some of the roads hard to pass, but he made it through smoothly; like a champ! He is mindful of fitness levels and will cheer you on as you trek up the sand dunes for epic views. He'll also make sure you have plenty of space and time to get the best photos.
Your trip will be packed with unique experiences! Froggy made driving on the sand dunes a once in a lifetime adventure as he's such an expert on finding the most exciting dunes. It was such a highlight that I've told so many people about it since the trip!
With all of the driving and different destinations, I was super happy that I booked a tour rather than trying to do it myself; you definitely get your money's worth with the great choices in accommodation and activities! It was also so effortless as the Aina was super communicative and helped me even coordinate transfers from the airport and to other destinations at the best rates since I booked the tour. The team truly provides an all-encompassing service and I would recommend them to anyone looking to have an unforgettable experience in Namibia!

The friendly staff were there to help me so that I wouldn't feel anxious.
The operator gave me some appropriate advice even before the tour, as I was worried about it.
I got sick during the tour, but the driver was always there to support me.
Pickup at 3:30 was a tough start to the tour.
But I'm grateful for their kind support. Thanks to them, I enjoyed the tour.
