A truly wonderful wildlife experience with fantastic, incredibly knowledgeable guides!
As mentioned above we really had a wonderful time. Everything was up to expectations or exceeded expectations. Communication and service from Safari.com was faultless. Tydon safari camp and bush camp were incredible! The food was absolutely delicious (I am a coeliac but that was no problem - the women cooked scrumptious gluten-free food for me without the blink of an eye.) The guides who took us on safari drives and kept us entertained in the evenings were fantastic - their knowledge of the flora and fauna was absolutely outstanding and incredible! Our only regret was not booking for a longer stay! We will definitely be returning! Thank you so much!

Excellent service.
Very satisfactory. Can recommend them and will use them again for future bookings.
Excellent service
Excellent! Travel agent sugested Karongwe Reserve Shiduli Lodge to us. Shiduli offered good accomodation, good food and excellent game drives with excellent guides and trackers
The whole weekend was good value for money

Professional, helpful & excellent service
We contacted safari.com to seek help in planning our travel to KwaZulu-Natal. We were immediately taken care of, asked the “right” questions and then had an itiniery suggested. We made some adjustments and that was still not a problem.
We were very impressed with the speed, professionalism and friendliness.
The travel-agent always responded quickly to our questions and during the trip, all were fine and questions never asked, we just had to say our name and all were according to the outlined plans.
I would recommend safari.com to anyone planning a trip to South Africa!

Service was fantastic, experience was amazing. I recommend working with Giada she was unbelievable.
Safari tour did a great job. We already knew what we were getting into having done this trip before, however safari tour made sure to organize all of our transportation to and from the game reserves as well as secure our reservation at each camp.
Everything went very smoothly.

Private tour Botswana, Vic Falls, South Africa, Kenya
Starting with Royal tree which was a Private booking. Accommodation excellent and here one gets a close look at many herbivores on foot or horseback. Tuskers was good but really just Elephants and no match with Chobe but a handy stop off on the way to the Delta. One night would do. The drive from Tuskers to the Delta was a surprise because while the road is terrible it becomes a game and the game on some lakes and waterways we came onto was wonderful. Okavango not to be missed especially for the birdwatching experience.
Chobe River a highlight. The smaller boat was ideal. Noticed can do land game drives here which would be good as well.
Masai Mara was the best Park experience. Would recommend starting here because one gets to tick off so much wildlife including Lions and Cheethas. Previously we had only seen Lions at Sabi Sand and that was a fluke. Masai Mari plus Samburu is a good combination. Good road to Samburu but terrible to Masai Mari although a new sealed road well advanced. While the driving was tough c/f light aircraft, one only gets to absorb the culture by road. Flamingos on Bogoria not to be missed but one needs to stay there and drive also to the hot springs which are a non-event but to get a better look at Flamingos on the rest of the lake.. Nothing wrong with the Spa Resort. Lovely staff and good accom but terrible food. Due to breakdown and delay stayed 2 nights was perfect. Did a drive to Lake Baringo but Kenya has much more exciting stuff to see. Checked out a boat ride but were surrounded by 20 aggressive locals with boats and the smell of alcohol so our driver got away quickly. Maybe better at the hotels. The Game Drive around Lake Nakuru was a surprise and excellent.
All guides were uncompromising in ensuring we had the best experience. The breakdown in Kenya would be avoidable if they serviced their vehicles. However the company redeemed themselves in sorting it out. Need to make sure windows work, grab handles replaced as well. Otherwise vehicles maliciously cleaned except the Nairobi pickup.
All tourist staff excellent - casual friendly but efficient. (Johannesburg Airport being a clear exception). All accommodation above expectations - even the necessarily rougher camps. Food good but exceptional a Masai Mara.

Hluhluwe Hilltop Resort
Our family holiday to Hluhluwe Hilltop Resort was superb. From the experience and ease of booking through Safari.com to the excellent and friendly service by the staff and establishment at Hluhluwe Hilltop Resort. The resort itself was very clean, the staff were amazing and the food was beyond expectation. A truly memorable and enjoyable family vacation that we will be recommended to others.

Prompt, friendly and professional communication from and with Mandy Pienaar.
Amazing being in Imfolozi Hluhluwe game reserves. Lots of animal sightings. Mpila camp staff were friendly, accommodation was clean and neat and adequate but mosquito meshes all badly damaged, cracks in the walls of our chalet, doors don't close properly due to having expanded. No keys for chalets, only latches on doors. Great braai and verandah. Great views. Very sad that there were no game drives offered by the camp. The staff at reception gave me differing stories - there were no vehicles and or there was nobody to drive the vehicles...

Unforgetable experience
From start to finish everything was flawless. Giada at Safari.com was so helpful, always providing a prompt response to my emails, and happy to provide customised options for us. Tydon safari camp is a lovely small camp, good accommodation & food, and a friendly helpful team of staff. The guides were great, Benji in particular, who tracked down some amazing wildlife including our dream leopard! We did a 5 day stay which I think was about the right length of time. Would definitely recommend and would return
