Very nice experience
We spent 4 wonderful days. Our guide was very attentive and competent. We ate delicious meals and the whole team took great care of us. The trip was very well organised.

Well organized and very good expedition
Early 2023 we have experienced the climbing of Kilimanjaro. The expedition was very well organized. The people accompanying know what they are doing, and have experience for year. The material is good, as well as the food ( nobody got sick ! ). The hotel upon arrival is very local, not that this is a negative point, but good to know.

Great guides with a lot of experience,Georges and Walter especially and good food!
The tour operator was very flexible, 8 of the 12 members didn’t have their luggage due to missed connection with flights. We started walking and after 2 days a part of the sherpas caught up with the luggage. Great food,with warm lunch and dinner,soup,snacks,etc… no one was sick and all 12 of us made it to the top! great guides, Georges and Walter! 9 of themjoined us to the top! After 3 days there was no coffee anymore,that’s maybe the only thing ;-)
He was super organized and Always available.
I went to Mount Kilimanjaro. Our Guides did a great job by taking Care of our group. The food was very good too.

Amazing
We had a wonderful experience in Tanzania thanks to African Spoonbill. We went there in August 2021 and visited Kilimanjaro, lake Manyara, Tarangire and Ngorongoro, and Zanzibar.
Pius Momburi was amazing, attentive and reachable. He was there whenever we needed him and would always help us out and make our stay easier. We are really glad he was there for us, as he made us feel safe and in good hands.
Both the Kilimamjaro and the safari experiences included guides and meals. The guides were friendly, responsible and knowledgeable, and they helped us deepen into the tanzanian culture and traditions. The meals were exquisit too, as we had a great variety of traditional dishes to taste as well as some international food. All the transfers were also in comfortable vehicles and kind drivers.
Overall, we would totally recommend African Spoonbill as a go to for any trip to Tanzania. They are wonderfull and will make you feel at home.

Best trip ever
We met Pius at one of the Fitur exhibitions, years later we decided to climb kilimanjaro finally and chose 7 days machame. He helped us with a lot of with all the information, requirements and tips for a succesfull trek.
He is very kind and professional.
We changed dates couple times and he had no problem on making new bookings.

Unforgettable experience
Unforgettable experience!! I joined a group in in august with Africanspoonbillsafaris to climb Kilimanjaro through lemosho route. From the beginning Pius has been very helpful organizing my trip and responsive in terms of tips and equipment required. He received me in Moshi and took me to the shop to rent the rest of the equipment and materials needed for the ascend. The team of porters and guides were so helpful and amazing during the whole trip, I would not have summited without them! Thanks Spoonbill for an unforgettable experience
