Maggie was just AMAZING!
Our travel advisor Maggie was amazing from the very start and planned an itinerary to suit us all as a family of 6. She listened to what we wanted and just came up with the perfect trip from start to finish! It was my dream to have my family together to holiday on Safari, for my 60th birthday celebrations, nothing disappointed me!
We did two different Safaris in South Africa, 3 nights at each lodge then had a week in Mauritius. We had one occasion to contact the concierge who was assigned to us, Toon, and she was fab at sorting our query. The trip far exceeded our expectations. . We saw all kinds of wildlife, met the most amazing people and enjoyed the excellent food, two of our party are vegan and were catered for really well at all destinations. . The staff at both lodges were incredible, and at no point did we have to worry about anything. The same goes for Mauritius, amazing place and wonderfully warm welcoming people.
Every aspect of the trip was planned so well and with incredible attention to detail. Well done Maggie and team. Thank you for making my dream come true! We wouldn't hesitate to use Wayfairer again to plan our next trip.

Above and Beyond Our Expectations in 2019 and 2022
Wayfairer Travel went far beyond our expectations when we traveled to southern Tanzania and Zanzibar in 2019. We spent two weeks exploring the Rufiji River riparian, grassland, and woodland ecosystems and wildlife of the Selous Game Reserve on land and boat. This was the first time we saw packs of wild dogs on our many trips to the continent. We then took a few days on Zanzibar to snorkel in the turquoise ocean and sight see historic Stonetown. The local contacts were professionally-trained wildlife guides who knew some of the Wayfairer Travel staff personally. Our accommodations and meals were 5-star fabulous and the staff at each safari camp and beach resort went above and beyond to give us a memorable, luxurious experience. Wayfairer Travel's Carmen Castrovillari covered every detail and answered every question we had before the trip. Carmen continues to provide excellent communication as we plan our next trip for September 2022 to South Africa. Her patience with our apprehension to travel and travel changes during the past 2 years has been outstanding and professional. We will use Wayfairer Travel again and highly recommend them to family and friends. Thanks, Carmen Castrovillari, for a well organized, highly enjoyable, and stress free trip.

Knowledgeable and provided excellent attention to detail regarding all aspects of the holiday.
We had a marvelous and wonderfully memorable holiday in Namibia. Josh at Wayfairer Travel clearly knew the country and gave us excellent advice whilst determining our itinerary. He was also very patient! It all worked beautifully and accommodation was excellent. At the start of the tour, we were given detailed directions, with the route highlighted on the map. We were also shown where possible fuel and food stops were, together with clear advice on driving on the gravel roads. We were provided with a mobile phone which was already set with all our accommodation numbers and emergency numbers and made us feel well looked after and safe.
There were so many highlights, it's impossible to pick one: the dunes, kayaking with seals and dolphins, a herd of desert adapted elephants, hundreds of zebra at a waterhole, lions mating (!), two black rhinos aggravating each other, tracking a leopard, seeing 2 pangolins on a night drive, the ever changing landscapes and unusual rock formations, the night sky and the Milky Way, the silence, the pale golden grasses swaying in the wind. The itinerary certainly enabled us to have a great variety of wonderful experiences whilst exploring this beautiful country. We would definitely recommend Wayfairer Travel.

Amazing service from Wayfairer Travel.
We travel extensively worldwide and Wayfairer went above and beyond any other agent we have experienced. The communications were prompt and efficient. Every query no matter how small was answered quickly, normally same day.No waiting around for replies as with other agents. The tour was seamless and operated like clockwork even though it was tailor made for us and included various forms of transport and different accommodation. It was extremely good value. Each segment of our trip to South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe was on time and reliable. All PCR tests we needed to have to travel between various countries were organised for us at our hotels and went without a hitch. Fantastic End-to-End Experience
We booked a five day safari in the Masai Mara for the family with Wayfairer and had a wonderful time. The sales team was knowledgeable and responsive in terms of designing a trip to our specifications, providing helpful expert suggestions along the way. The trip Wayfairer put together was absolutely fantastic in terms of logistics, wildlife, and accommodation, and it was excellent value for money given the overall experience. We also greatly appreciated Wayfairer's concierge service, which provided helpful practical travel/logistics support and advice in the run-up to and during the trip itself. Highly recommended!

Dream honeymoon thanks to Wayfairer
Wayfairer helped us to plan and execute every part of our honeymoon to perfection. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and take the time to understand your budget, expectations, and interests for your holiday. We had quite a lot of logistics involved for our honeymoon, 3 different safari sites plus a beach holiday, and everything went very smoothly. The hotel recommendations were also perfectly suited to our expectations. I would highly recommend Wayfairer to plan a vacation.

The trip of a liftetime in Kenya!
When planning our African Safari, I wanted it to cater to my hobby as a photographer, yet also offer the luxury that my wife could enjoy. But I had no idea where to start. Our travel advisor Maggie was amazing form the very start and planned an itinerary that checked all the boxes, and also helped us experience the different flavours of Kenya, from the dry red soil and hilly topography of Samburu to the green plains of the Masai Mara.
There was a small miscommunication around our pickup on our arrival at Nairobi, but that's where it was useful having Toon, our concierge, to call who cleared up the mixup. The rest of the trip was an absolute dream. We saw all kinds of wildlife, met the most amazing people and enjoyed the exquisite food. The staff at both lodges are incredible, and at no point did we have to worry about logistics as everything was taken care of. It is by far the most unforgettable trip we've ever had, and we can't wait to do something like it again. In the meant time I have hundreds of images that I can relive the trip through.
There's no doubt that we'll use Wayfairer again to plan our next trip.

A flawless, luxury, and stress-free tour of South Africa and Rwanda.
My husband and I have traveled extensively all over the world, but we have always done it on our own. Tailored experience for our Honeymoon
From the very first contact with Wayfairer we felt we were carefully listened to and the trip was designed to meet our unique needs / wishes. With the pandemic, we had to change our dates in 2 occasions and the team was always there to help and provide guidance on what dates could be the best to experience a Safari.
In the field, it was the team of Basecamp Explorer who took care of us and the experience with them was very good as well. Special mention to Bony who was our guide in Lake Nakuru and made everything to please us during our stay there.
