Extraordinary 10-day safari
Second time this year with Cubs Expeditions and I am satisfied again. This September tour was different in comparison with the January one because of other season and also due to different locations. Everything was perfectly arranged again. This time we did 10-day safari, again with an excellent guide and driver Mr. Amani. Visiting the North Serengeti with climbing of Ol Donyo Lengai volcano and observing the big migration of animals was stunning. Then we went to Central Serengeti where we saw completely different scenery than in January, lions and cheetahs hunting zebras and antelopes, hyenas and vultures waiting for the rest of the catch. Cold climate in Ngorongoro offered us a spectacular variety of animals as well. And visiting Hadzabe and Datooga tribes was also great. Our chef Halidi was preparing really tasty meals and no one was starving. This 10-day safari tour was really extraordinary and again I can recommend going to safari with Cubs Expeditions.

Great Safari
We did the 4D safari in Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. The safari was really great, lots of animals. Cubs Expeditions took great care of us. Especially big thanks to Humprey for setting up the tour, Mandela for being a great guide and Tito for the best food in Tanzania.

Family friendly tour company
Over 20 years ago I spent a year volunteering in Arusha and during this time did a five day safari with a local company that I was able to select based on local knowledge. This time around I had to pick a company based on internet searches and reviews so was slightly mindful whether I would have the same experience as before.
To my delight, Cub Expeditions - a Tanzanian owned company - met my expectations and then some. Humphrey, managing director of the company, was attentive to my needs and budget from the outset. He listened to what I wanted and responded with an itinerary that was suitable for my young family.
Our driver/guide and chef were equally attentive and flexible to the needs and patience of my 3 and 6 year olds. Halid was an amazing chef who ensured we had three hot and tasty meals a day. While other safari companies served sandwiches for lunch, Halid served up three course meals of deliciousness! Our kids loved every meal.
From start to finish our safari met all expectations. We saw all of the hoped for animals and birds at close range. The driver/guide seemed to know everyone and worked the radio to keep tabs on the latest sightings. My husband said he was also a terrific driver and how we were driving in long wheel base Land Cruisers which are more comfortable.
The drives were varied and breaks were spaced out to ensure our children did not get bored or frustrated. The guide was equally helpful in engaging and entertaining the kids. Our youngest delighted in learning a bit of Kiswahili.
I would fully recommend Cubs Expeditions. It provides great value for a really amazing safari, you're in safe hands, plus you're supporting the local economy.

Amazing safari with the best
I thank Humphrey for everything he has done for us! I will never forget his kindness and professionalism! The safari could not have gone better thanks to Iddi who guided us, explained and above all who took care of us! Issa was our cook, we ate like at home! His legendary smile and his kindness touched me so much! I recommend Iddi and Issa for your next safari you won't regret! Thank you for making me live this dream and see you very soon!

Amazing safari
I had an amazing time in Tanzania - Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire parks. The communication with Humphrey was great, he explained everything and was waiting at the airport to pick us up. He also dropped us at the airport for an early flight. Our driver and guide Omani was very experienced. He tried his best for us to see all the animals and always answered all questions. His animal knowledge was extensive. The cook Emmanuel cooked delicious food, accomodated vegetarians, we never went hungry. I highly reccommend Cubs Expeditions as it's great value for money, they are realiable, great service. Thank you again.

Amazing safari
We had a magical time from the start and until the end of our stay! Humphrey took care of us like we were family! Issa our cook prepared amazing meals for us, we ate at the safari like in a 5* hotel! Thanks to Idi who was our driver and guide during our stay, with his knowledge of animals and his driving experience, we had a magical safari! We will be back and we will choose Cubs Expeditions for our next Safaris! If you want to see the big 5 with a full stomach, ask for Issa and Idi for your trip! Thank you for allowing us to live this unforgettable experience!

Dream safari
We spent 4 days and 3 nights of unforgettable safari with cubs expedition! An incredible experience to live at least once in his life! Everything was perfect ! From the guide Iddy who shared with us all this knowledge of animals / nature and who is an excellent driver to the chef Issa who prepared meals worthy of the greatest chef! Marvelous.
The safari trip exceeded our expectations. Although we were a bit hesitant before arrival, once in Arusha everything went smoothly and resulted in an unforgettable trip. The staff are very service minded, warm and well structured. We got well cooked meals with great proportion and variety. Our guide was originally from a masai village and gave us invaluable knowledge about the area, wild life and its people. We cannot ask for more.
