Experience of a Lifetime!
My husband and I researched various safari companies and Gosheni came out on top because they had options in different price ranges, services that other companies didn't offer and is locally owned. I am so glad we went with Gosheni! We had a wonderful experience from our first contact through the end of the safari. Staff responded quickly to our questions during the planning process. We ran into a problem with our visa for Tanzania and the company owner, Peter resolved it for us so we didn't have any delays entering Tanzania. We also arranged 3 days in Zanzibar following the safari and Gosheni also took care of those logistics.
Albert was our safari guide over four days and he was excellent. He was friendly, responsive and extremely knowledgeable about the animals and the area. We started in the Ngorongoro Crater and made our way through the south, central and northern Serengeti. Albert made sure we got good views of the animals, lots of incredible pictures and ensured all our requests were met. This was a once in a lifetime experience and I highly recommend planning your safari with Gosheni and Albert as your guide. Top notch service and you can really tell they put the client first.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST CHOICE!!
Booking with Gosheni Safaris was the absolute best choice my sister and I made for our Kenya and Tanzania 7-day safari! We were looking for a black-owned tour operator and Gosheni could not have been any more perfect! From the beginning when we reached out to Peter, the owner, to our last hours in Kenya, every comfort and detail was taken care of. We were able to customize our private safari with Peter, who was super patient as we figured it out. The first day of our safari, Lenny, our first guide, picked us up at our Nairobi hotel and whisked us off to start our incredible adventure. He was knowledgeable, friendly and provided some of our first sightings as we made our way to Amboseli National Park. It doesn’t seem possible that we only spent a day and a half with Lenny because we had such a wonderful time.
Then we were off to Arusha, Tanzania to fly out to Serengeti National Park, where we met Rodrick our next guide, who accompanied us for two and a half days. The Serengeti was amazing thanks to Rodrick’s endless search for what we wanted to see, which was EVERYTHING! We saw the great migration, a crossing, four of the big five and a lot more. He was the first to spot the crossing and was able to get us there first to witness it. He answered all our questions and commented as we went along. We learned so much and enjoyed our time with Rodrick a lot!
Next came Maasai Mara with Ali, our last guide, who went above and beyond with us and made our stay in the reserve AMAZING! From the moment we met Ali at the Kenyan border, we knew we were in for a good time. Ali’s easy-going way, his sense of humor, knowledge and eagerness to show us all there was to see made this part of our tour INCREDIBLE. We feel like we made a lifelong friend in Ali! What an amazing guide and human being! And he completed our big five by finding a black rhino!
When we realized we were going to have multiple guides, we weren't sure how it would be. But it turned out to be great to experience different styles of safaris from the easy-going, natural drive to the more adventurous fast-paced drive. Overall our experience with Gosheni Safaris was everything we wanted and expected and way more! We would recommend this tour operator to everyone! ASANTE SANA Gosheni!
Great Company, Great Safari!!
We had a great experience with Gosheni! They’re professionals, reliable and well organised. Our guide Albert was always smiling and very kind, we had a good time with him. He could find so many animals, that was incredible!
Acacia Camps are like living a dream. Don’t hesitate to choose Gosheni.

Competent, experienced & very friendly
We had the pleasure to spend 5 days (in Ngorongoro & Serengeti) organized by Gosheni with our guide Erasto. Everything worked perfectly well and as planned.
Erasto is an amazing and very experienced guide. He knows his country, the roads and all the animals. We felt extremely well taken care of, received an answer to all our questions and had a lot of fun.
Can only recommend Gosheni!

Magnificent trip to Ngorongoro and Serengeti
We had a wonderful 6 days/5 nights trip with Gosheni from Arusha to Ngorongoro and the Serengeti. We were picked up by our lovely guide Erasto from our Arusha hotel and had a quick stop at the Gosheni office to finalize admin and get a briefing. Then we were off to Ngorongoro.
Erasto was a fabulous guide - friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about anything we wanted to know about nature and history throughout our trip.
We spotted so many lovely animals, including the rarer ones like cheetahs and rhinos. Well, Erasto spotted them as he has that skill to spot really everything.
Everything worked according to plan and was thought through and we can highly recommend Erasto as a guide and Gosheni is a tour operator!

ONCE in a life time - absolutely faboulus
They promised one in a lifetime experience and we received once in a lifetime experience. Before getting in to deatails we want to Thank our guide Ombeni. Whenever you have the chance to book a tour in english ask for Ombeni.
From the first day he made us feel comfortable and welcome. After fantastic days in Tarangire ans Lake Manyara nationalpark we arrived to Serengeti. We enjoyed the knowledge of Ombeni and his patience while we were observing animals (pole pole = slowly slowly). As well as in the other parks Ombeni had eagle eyes and spotted lions or leopards even several hundred meters away.
Accommodations were fabulous. Starting from interior and especially highlighting the exceptional friendliness and service of every staff member.
During our trip we also met other gosheni guides for e.g. Eno who also speaks german, and all of them were amazing.
Whenever your looking for an reliable, well organised, welcoming and committed tour operator choose gosheni.
Many thanks to Ombeni, Peter and the rest of the team.

A trip of a lifetime made possible because of gosheni !
My husband and I booked with Gosheni for our Kili Trek, Safari, and Zanzibar experience - and the attention to detail was unmatched. Booking with Gosheni for our trip was made easy, they sent an initial itinerary, and i curated our schedule and accommodations from there - they were quickly responsive and well informed to help us create exactly what we wanted. I had the pleasure of working with Peter, and i can not thank him enough for all he did for us! Thank you !!! Our kili guides Sam and Swibert - my god … i can’t say enough about them! By the end of the 7 days they were family, such beautiful energy - you can tell they truly love what they do ! They kept our pace to make our trek possible, taught us so much about the mountain, made us laugh, danced with us, and were super determined to make sure we made it to Uhuru Peak (the summit). Our chef on the mountain, Tom - absolute magician that guy is. His meals were the best we had for our trip, and i don’t even know how that’s possible with a make shift kitchen on a mountain. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner - all gourmet! We summited Mount Kilimanjaro all thanks to our guides, chef and porters ! Thank you ❤️❤️❤️As far as our safari guide goes - I am convinced that we had thee number 1 guide in Tanzania - his name is Ombeni! We knew so much about the land, the vegetation, and the animals … beyond that and probably most importantly for anyone who is coming to Tanzania for a Safari, he seemed to know the exact right moments of where to go to give us the experience of a lifetime we were hoping for. I also want to say that i could not really see that he genuinely cared about our happiness, he celebrated with us whenever we saw something we wanted. His childlike is energy made the safari so fun, and allowed us to be free and enjoy things just as little kids in a playground for the first time. Last but not least, his photo skills were awesome ! We’ve got some really sweet shots that will make this experience last a lifetime.
If you’re going to book, i highly suggest booking with gosheni. The company and its staff truly care, you will not just be treated as a number, but as family! Thank you again!

Above and beyond imagination with our guide Bariki
The trip was spontaneously arranged ard a month ago but turned out to be one of my best traveling experiences. Our guide Bariki has made this trip above and beyond excellence.
1. Bariki was incredibly knowledgeable and educated in all areas from animal wildlife, geography, plantation, geography to Tanzanian cultures & tribes. We shot him hundreds of questions along the game drives, and there’s barely one he cannot answer with a concrete, detailed and solid answer. With Bariki, our walking book, I was absorbing so much knowledge along the journey. That was not sth the same as reading from the internet, Bariki has made a lot of the differences.
2. Nature is out of our control, we spotted 4 out of the big 5. Yet for every animal we saw, we got the perfect if not best spot to witness. Bariki has done magic to his driving stick & engine ( u can’t imagine the adrenaline lol), we were the first JEEP to watch the wildebeest migration, lion hunting and so much more.
3. A friendly, welcoming, caring and very humorous guide like Bariki has upgraded the whole safari experience, and turned every meal into laughers. The trust and confidence built early on has quickly made us friends :) There are a lot of interesting animals stories, geography formation and cultural discussion in the car and on the meal tables I will never forget.
I can’t thank Bariki enough for this experience and am forever grateful. He is beyond 10/10! If u will go with Gosheni, make sure u reserve Bariki! Thanks GOSHENI & Peter! HAKUNA MATATA!

A vacation that is made once in a lifetime and that we will always remember !!!
4 Days Explore Tanzania Safari: Serengeti National Park + Ngorongoro Crater + Lake Manyara National Park
Just returned from an unforgettable trip to Tanzania, we still have in our memory the wonderful 4-day private safari experience made in the second week of August.
I highly recommend to anyone who travels to this beautiful country not to miss the parks in the north and to choose Gosheni Safaris.
Before choosing the tour operator, I did a lot of research online and read the reviews of many tourists who were enthusiastic about the experience. I was not surprised, therefore, by the professionalism of this tour operator, which has shown great attention to the customer since the first contact.
After an exchange of emails, Peter offered me a package giving me details on the services, all of a high level: the new jeep, efficient and exclusively for us (group of 4 people), with the use of binoculars, water board and sockets to charge smartphones, overnight stays in extraordinary structures, hot meals, wine and drinks for lunch during the "game drives". An exclusive service!
We were lucky enough to see many animals, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, buffaloes, wildebeest, various species of antelope, hippos, baboons and other types of multicolored monkeys, elephants, giraffes, zebras, ostriches, warthogs, lemurs, wild cats, crocodiles, many species of birds, rodents, not to mention trees and plants and breathtaking views.
In particular, we spent two unforgettable nights at the Acacia Seronera Luxury Camp, right in the middle of the Serengeti, in contact with nature (splendid view especially at sunrise and sunset accompanied by the sounds of the savannah), but equipped with all comforts, from the hot water in the bathrooms, all with shower and tub, to the huge and very comfortable beds and abundant breakfast; not to mention the helpfulness of the staff. We were truly pampered from the welcome until the end of the stay.
The night spent at Ngorongoro Castle was also special. The structure is new, located within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and surrounded by greenery. Particular architecture and furnishings, still a little behind in terms of customer services, but with enormous growth potential. Staff always smiling and helpful.
The only flaw, the wi-fi is not present in the rooms, but still available in the common areas.
A particular review for our guide. If you have the chance, ask for Erasto. He was great; he speaks several languages (with us especially in Spanish), very well prepared, he drove the jeep flawlessly (including the thrill of the "African massage") and was always available to accommodate our requests. He also gave us a lot of interesting information about the animals and the local culture. With him we felt privileged.
With Gosheni Safaris, really the top!!!
