Personalized, Enjoyable and Value for Money
The entire experience was great from start to finish. Amelia did a great job in creating an itenary that suited our needs and they allowed us to change activities for our personal need. We did an 8 day (Kruger + Greater Kruger + Panorama route) tour and it did not disappoint. We managed to see a bit of everything and even had a luxury experience in the private lodge.
Special shoutout to our guide, Jaco, for making the trip so much better. He is a great driver, cook and is one of the most knowledgeable guides in the business. He was able to identify and describe the different animals in the reserve, and we learnt many things from him. He ensured we were comfortable and safe throughout the trip, and was a great company as well.
Compared to the other tour groups, this was definitely one of the better value for money and you be hard pressed to find a better deal.
We will definitely work with them again!

Amazing trip, well planned, well looked after - we will be back!
From start to finish it has been easy to deal with Red Africa Safaris. Booking process was smooth. I had the details for Jaco (our guide) and he was waiting once we arrived. He was brilliant, knew so much about everything and really made the trip special. All the places he took us were great, he timed it all well so there were very few other people about. The canyon was a highlight, from the top and bottom - such a good experience. Then Kruger was brilliant - the walking safari was very good! Jaco's cooking was very very good, loved the BBQ steaks - as good if not better than anything you will get at a top restaurant. Overall loved by us all and we will return and book via red africa safaris again!

Professional, trustworthy, client focused, adaptable, available and responsive.
From the moment we sent an enquiry to Red Africa Safaris we were not disappointed. The complete package exceeded our expectations on every level and we are seasoned Safari travellers.
Amelia listened and came up with a perfect 10 day itinerary which included the Graskop Gorge, the Panorama route and canyon boat cruise, the Moholoholo rehabilitation centre, elephant interaction experience, Kruger and finishing with Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe where we cruised and competed white water rafting on the Zambezi. Our guide throughout was Jaco who was absolutely exceptional. Due to severe wet weather and risk of impending cyclone, our tour was adapted at source and we felt we had the best outcome in the circumstances.
I could go on about the amazing animals, birds and plants we saw, the waterfalls and places we visited, the accommodation we experienced the best steak and vegetarian meal cooked by Jaco but everything was exemplified by the sheer breadth of knowledge and personality of Jaco who gently guided us through the natural world of South Africa and the history of this vast country.
What he didn’t know wasn’t worth knowing. He was able to identify our likes and expand on these but not forget other pieces of importance.
We were so impressed with the ethos of conservation at all levels with Red Safaris and the education we received which included where support is needed by the wider world wide community. We cannot rate Red Africa Safaris high enough and we will definitely be back for more. Thank you for an unforgettable experience.

We had a wonderful experience! Red Africa Safaris delivered everything what promised and more!
We had a wonderful experience! Red Africa Safaris delivered everything what promised and more! The guides (Jaco and Keegan) were amazing. The program itself was adjusted to our needs, the operator was flexible and thoughtful! It was our first time in South Africa and Kruger Park, thus we did a lot of preparational work and we're glad we chose Red Africa Safaris. If we'll come back - we'll definitely chose those guys again.

Excellent
We enjoyed our 4-day safari at the Panorama Route and Kruger Park immensely. It turned out to be our lifetime experience. We were able to see all the Big 5, herds of lions, giraffes, elephants, etc. at a very close range.
Last but by no means least. The Jaco guide is without a doubt one of the best of South Africa. Having so much knowledge and eager to share it with others, passionate about nature and preserving it for generations to come. Easily spoken, agitated speaker and attentive listener at the same time.

5-Day Kruger Safari, Panorama Route & Canyon Boat Cruise - Excellent, Friendly and Great Value.
We booked the above trip with Red Africa Safaris and I must say it was the best trip we have had the pleasure to enjoy. The booking of the trip was very easy and relaxed and Amelia was able to answer all questions without any fuss.
The highlight of the trip was having our own personal guide Joco. From the moment he picked us up at the Hotel he made the whole experience a wonderful event. On the trip out to Panoramic Route Joco provided us with a comprehensive overview and history of the regions we travelled through. He was able to answer all questions fully with knowledge from his vast experience of the regions.
At the different beauty stops (the Pinnacle Rock look-out point, the beautiful Lisbon Falls, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, the Three Rondavels and Blyde river Canyon and the Blyde river Canyon Dam) Joco provided an in-depth overview of each of the them and again the history surrounding them, especially how the Dutch settlers made their way through these regions.
The trip on the Canyon Boat trip on the Blyde River was very interesting and relaxing with another excellent guide providing great information and stories of the River. The visit to the Moholoholo Wildlife Centre was very interesting and the hosts provided a very good picture of what is happening to the different animals in South Africa and how they work with the local farmers in protecting and helping animals where possible.
Once we got to Kruger Park Joco passed us onto the local guides but not without providing advice on what to look out for and how to notice small changes in the landscape to be able to see different Animals. We went out in the park on four separate occasions and where able to see a wide variety of animals at different times of the days. All four visits to the park where well organised and the guides knowledgeable and willing to try and meet peoples requests.
On the afternoon of the last day Joco took us out to some places that he knew well to get even closer to some of the animals we had seen from a distance and again his local knowledge and knowledge of the animals was put to good use.
One thing I must say is while we were on one of the trips to the park we had a few visitors to our cabin who helped them selves to some fruit and cakes that Jaco had provided for us when he prepared out evening meals. We found this to be very entertaining to have been chosen by these visitors. I think Joco thought otherwise.
Again on the trip back to Johannesburg Joco was able to provide more information on the regions we passed through and made the trip thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish.
It was great meeting Joco and learning about his very interesting background, his home with the different animals and his Family which he shared with us over the 5 Days. We will definitely be looking to book another trip with Red Africa Safari in the near future.

Amazing days in Kruger Park
Yesterday me and my husband ended our tour with Red Africa Safaris, and we are amazed of everything we experiencied on our Southern Kruger Park + Panoramic route tour (4 days, 3 nights).
Since the first moment the agency was great. They really care of making your trip a wonderful experience, so they help you to plan the whole journey.
We were on the tour with Jaco, who knew everything you can imagine, from stones, snakes, mammals, birds to flora. He really cares for the whole environment, when you talk to him you can know for sure that he loves what he does.
We got very lucky because the weather was nice, we saw the most amazing animals (including the big 5 and a lot much more), and the places we slept were great, too. Jaco had a lot of nice food that he prepared for us, and for me he bought veggie stuff, a really nice gest.
We definitely will come back to Africa and do other tour with Red Africa Safaris. If you have to choose, don't doubt! If you have any further questions feel free to write me.

Unforgettable 5 days
We booked a 5 day trip with Red Africa and we were amazed by the level of service and experience. The key in the whole experience was our guide Jaco. He’s a genuine South-Africa-pedia and gave us so much valuable insights on the country and its fauna and flora. Most of the accommodations and game drives they arranged for us, were great value for money. Happy to recommend them to all Europeans who want and exceptional South-Africa experience.

The most amazing few days
I wanted to send a message to say a HUGE BIG THANK YOU to Amelia who planned our itinerary and to Jaco our tour guide for an unforgettable few days.
Everything was so well organised and it went well above and beyond anything we could ever have imagined. Hugo was a gentleman and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. As for the safari at Kruger itself, I couldn't believe how much we got to see. I would highly recommend spending at least two days in the park and the highlight was certainly the sunset safari. We had such an amazing time and I will certainly be reaching out to Red Africa Safari's again for future holidays.

Great experience
Me and my wife booked our tour to Kruger through Red Safari and it was one of the best times we’ve ever had. We had a private tour with Jaco that included a scenic drive through the countryside. Jaco was very kind, and extremely knowledgeable not only on the wildlife in and around Kruger Park, but also the history of all the areas we visited. He was very attentive to our needs and made our stay very comfortable.
We left feeling like we knew a LOT more about South Africa overall and we would 1000% go again to be with Jaco! If you’re not sure about the price or what the experience would be like on the private tour, all I can say is that it is definitely worth it!
