Safari with Jimmy - what a wonderful experience!
Our safari to Masai Mara and Nakuru NP was an unforgettable experience. All expectations were met. The Masai camp where we stayed close to the Masai Mara was basic, as expected, but a unique experience. As we booked a group safari, we (3 persons) were part of a larger group of 8 people. The other guests were not as interested and a bit difficult to deal with - so next time we'll book a private safari. However most of this was made up by the skills, care and trust we had in our guide and driver Jimmy. He genuinely looked after us, did his best to provide us with an unforgettable safari experience, with great views and very confortable driving. If I'ld come back to Kenya, I would definitely ask again for him to guide us around!
The part to Nakuru NP was definitely worth the extra day!

An amazing experience with a lot of extras.
The booking itself was easy, reliable and trustworthy. We didn't have to wait long for answers to questions and inquiries from our side.
The service was amazing. Especially our guide was unbeatable. Ask for Jimmy if you want great service, security, reliability, and a very high level of knowledge and expertise. He is like an old friend to us and we will miss him dearly.
The car we went in was perfect. Room, comfort, a great view into all directions and amenities galore.
The value for money is great. Even if we only got what was advertised, we would be completely satisfied. But we got a lot more. Several extras were offered, and we got to decide individually what we wanted to partake and what not. We saw all the animals, got amazing photos close up and all the info we needed and wanted, with personal hints and knowledge always at our disposal. We also felt absolutely at ease every second of the trip.
The locations we saw were also to of the notch. From very field like in a tented camp to very nice hotels, we had it all. And when we weren't chatting from amazing sight to amazing sight, we socialized with Jimmy or head the time to finally so ask the things that we usually don't get to do because of stressful jobs.
To summarize, if you want the safari of your life, book here and ask for Jimmy.

Epic safari, varied terrain, excellent sightings and reliable knowledgeable guides
Axis delivers! Axis did a great job from start to finish. Lennox was quick to reply to my initial query, as well as clear, fair, flexible and helpful throughout, including when we encountered issues with our visa. Johnny was a fantastic guide, who worked hard to ensure we had the best safari possible. He was reliable, knowledgeable, patient with our family of five and good company for 6 days in four different reserves. He made sure we had great sightings, including two leopard sightings, 3 cheetah sightings and lots of lions. We covered a lot of incredibly varied terrain at Samburu, Aberdare, Lake Nukuru, and Maasai Mara. Such an amazing experience and would highly recommend to anyone. Overall, the value for money, reliability and tour itself met and exceeded our expectations. May Axis continue to offer this service!

Professional, reliable, flexible and fun
He was a good ambassador to his country. Our driver Johnny was reliable always on time or early. He delivered above and beyond our expectations.
He had a good sense of humor. He expressed patience with our three children on the long safari drives. His knowledge of the animals was on point. He spotted everything we needed to see. We saw the big five and more …
Highly recommend him as a safari driver with a young family. We always felt safe while having fun at the same time.
Axis helped us with our visa processing in a very professional manner. Overall, they were professional and easy to communicate with.
We were looking for an activity with our young family where we would be together, and the children wouldn’t be on their phones all the time. This was perfect. Lots of happy family memories were made this week.

Our guide Andrew was always thinking about the best for us, kindly checking in on us and having conversations with us about where we wanted to go and when. Also the guide had good contact with other guides around, so he kept getting updates on where to find the animals.
One day we had found the lions, Andrew got a message on the radio and suddenly we were driving hurrily towards something. He seemed very eager, and finally we saw why. We got to see the rare black rhino.... twice!

Fantastic
Amazing 3-day trip with Axis Africa. Loved every minute of it. We saw almost all of the Big Five, including the elusive leopard. Our guide Kevin was excellent - knowledgeable and passionate about both Kenya and wildlife. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Great value for money and If you want to experience the true wonder that is the Masai Mara then Axis is your best bet. Highly recommended.

Great communication and perfect execution
We went on a 4 day safari with Andrew in Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha. Andrew was a terrific guide always wanting us to get the best views and always finding the best spots. He was service oriented and coordinated everything for us. In total, a great experience!

The tour operator was very responsive, accommodating and reliable
We had an amazing time during our safari in Kenya. Lennox was very helpful as we navigated some Visa issues and was very responsive whenever I asked for updates. Our tour guide Jack was very accommodating, flexible and patient. He was able to shift a few things around so we could maximize our time out on drives when our days were affected by people on our party feeling sick and our flight being in the early evening.
Aside from logistics, Jack also made sure we were able to see as many of the big 5 and would tell us about the flora in addition to the fauna. He would let us take our time with pictures and animal watching.
