Fantastic, flexible and creative
5/5

I had the pleasure of experiencing the Sunset Safari with our guide Sele, accompanied by four other adventurers. This unforgettable trip took us to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater and gave us two unforgettable days in the Serengeti and again in Ngorongoro.

Sele, our dedicated guide, made this trip special. His patience and enthusiasm were infectious, and his excellent command of English helped us fully understand the beauty of nature and wildlife. He tailored our experience perfectly to our interests and needs.

The safari car was also well maintained, and on subsequent days it was spick and span again for a fresh day of adventure.

This trip was truly a fantastic experience that we will never forget. Seeing the majestic Ngorongoro and the endless Serengeti plains will be forever etched in our memories, thanks to Sele and the entire Sunset Safari team. A sincere recommendation for anyone who wants to explore Tanzania in a unique and unforgettable way.

My family and I had a wonderful 8 day Safari tour with Adam (our guide) to catch the Great Wildebeest Migration in the Northern Serengeti, and rest of Central Serengeti, Ngorogoro Crater and Tarangire National Parks. The team was very responsive and accommodating during the pre-trip organisation, and managed to offer an encompassing itinerary for our holiday idea. Adam was such an attentive and striving guide! He worked really hard to help us experience all the different sights during the trip. We really enjoyed the trip and felt lucky to see the sightings that we did. Would definitely recommend Sunset Africa!

The guides arrived on time and told us everything we needed to know about the planning. He drove us safely to the national parks and to the campsite. The guide told us about the animals, trees and plants and also tried his very best to go to the best spots to see the animals. The campsite was a very nice stay with a pool and we enjoyed our time there. The last day we went to the crater early because then we would see the sunrise and have an amazing view over the ngorogoro crater! Amazing experience! Also the lunchboxes that were prepared were delicious.

Well organized with an eye for detail

The preparations went smoothly. Emma responds quickly and gives options so that we could tailor our safari to our own liking.

The guide arrived on time and drove very safely. You can't say that about many other road users.
He managed to maneuver us through the park without any problems, and he knew a lot of details about all the animals and plants we saw. You could tell that the guide was well trained.

The lunch boxes were very extensive and there was more than enough drinking water for the road.

We slept at Osopuko Tarangire lodge and that was amazing. The view was panoramic: from the room we saw giraffes, elephants and even lions. The maasai escorted us outside as soon as it got dark. Emma gave us the right options!

Thank you Emma and Ramadan (the guide) for this fantastic experience!

One of our best holidays. Comms from the start were excellent, quick responses, solutions found. Adam, our safari guide, was incredible with his knowledge and ability to find animals and to also get us away from all the other trucks. We saw rhino and leopards but we loved some of the birds he pointed out like the heaviest bird that flies (Kori Bustard) and the secretary bird. All the accommodation they selected for us was excellent, we particularly loved all the tented accommodation. I'd highly recommend sunset safari, they're a tiny outfit, they'll create a safari to suit your budget and listen to what u want to do

A good preparation and a good communication resulted in a great trip!

Our safari adventure started with planning our trip. Emma provided us with a lot of information and great options to choose from. We were counting the days and finally the date of departure arrived. A few days before that departure, we received the last travel information from Emma. That was nice, it helped with our preparations in these last days.

At Kilimanjaro Airport we met with Sele, our guide. He brought us safely to our hotel.
The next morning we started our safari and Sele was a great guide. He told us many things, spotted beautiful animals and was a great driver.
During our trip we also had a cultural day planned, we learned a lot about the Tanzanian culture and habits.

We stayed at some beautiful tented camps, for example Migombani Camp, which has a beautiful view on Lake Manyara. We also stayed at Osupuko Lodges, located on the Serengeti. A very special place to stay and showering with the bucket shower was a great experience.

During our trip Sele showed us Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater. We learned so many things about the animals that lives here. It was a special moment when we (well, Sele did) found a large lion-family. No other cars around us, in silence we admired the beautiful animals.

We just had a great trip, a beautiful adventure. We (a family of five, with children in the age of 17, 15 and 11) will never forget this, with many thanks to Emma and Sele.

Personalized attention, a wild experience!
5/5

Sunset Adventure Tours exceeded all my expectations. As a licensed Travel Advisor, I knew the competition would be fierce. But from the get go, Emma impressed me with her attention to detail and prompt, personalized communication.

My friend and I completed a three-day safari of Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara. We were blown away with our guide’s knowledge and expertise! He knew exactly where to go to find all the animals we’d hoped to see. Omar was friendly and attentive to all our needs. His English is amazing! We saw every animal possible (other than the elusive leopard and cheetahs!) and we’re especially impressed with how close we were able to get to a pride of lions…

The parks themselves are pristine clean and the picnic/washroom facilities equally as such.

Overall, I found the entire experience top-drawer and exceptional value for money. I especially appreciated Emma checking in on us.

One other thing, the quality of our accommodation was 10/10. We stayed at Farm of Dreams Lodge in Karatu and felt like it was the most boujee experience ever! With lovely, down-to-earth and attentive staff.
