Wonderful safari experience!
Our safari with Asili Explorer was very good fun. Our guide Joseph was very knowledgeable, an excellent driver and always ready to seek out the best animal viewing experience for us. We saw it all - lions feeding on buffalo, hyenas circling, a sleepy leopard in a tree, hippos frolicking in the mud, and so much more! The safari was reasonably priced, the parks we visited (Tarangire, Ngorogoro Crater and Serengeti) were spectacular and the food was great too...thank you Asili for such a great safari experience!

Exceptional Safari Experience

Fantastic safari experience
Joe is a very professional, reliable and friendly guide. He is passionate about safari and was dedicated to showing us the best experience possible.
Joe is very experienced in the parks and with animal behaviour. We found so many animals including all the big five, three lion hunts from ten prides of lions (one large pride very close up), feeding vultures and hyena and jackals, stampeding wildebeest on migration, hilarious baboons, rhino, hippos, leopard, buffalo, giraffe and loads of elephant families (very up close to one particular elephant) and much more.
We went on the five day safari mid-range package, which from my research, was the best value of the mid-range offers. All the accommodation he uses is fantastic, especially the Angata tented lodge in the Serengeti.
Joe worked very hard and went out of his way to make sure we had a fantastic week on safari (even giving us a Swahili song around the campfire). I'd highly recommend Asili Explorer. Asili Explorer is Joe's company and only a few years old. He is always working hard to improve it. The only improvement I suggested to him has to do with the initial payment process (so nothing to do with safari). I believe he is looking into that, so maybe no longer an issue for future customers.

Your perfect choice of a safari company!!
I went on a four day safari with Asili explorer during my time in Tanzania and I can not recommend is company enough! It's perfect mix of a professional company with high expertise and a lot of knowledge but still suitable size where you feel it's personal and where every group is special to them.
If you look around and doubt what safari company to choice, CHOOSE Asili explorer! You will not regret putting your safari budget in their hands.

Amazing trip in Tanzania
We went on a trip with Asili Explorer Tanzania in November 2014 with two(2) girls, two(2) boys and we had some amazing time. The five(5)days experience in Tanzania was a private safari in a really nice 4-wheel jeep with an open pop up roof and we were accompanied by experienced tour guides Mr. Joe and best chef Habib, during the whole tripe the services were amazing,the guide and the chef were really nice and had lot of knowledge about the parks and the animals in it. We actually saw everything,like Lions,Zebras,Hippos,Gazelles,Cheetahs,Leopards,Giraffes and all kinds of gorgeous landscape. If i would ever book a safari again then definitely i will with Asili. It has so much value on your money, also compared to other tour operators that sometimes carry over eight(8) people in a car. Also if you doubt on taking a safari, do it. Its not even that expensive if you go with Asili explorer. All in all : Good service, Great safari, and its not expensive at all.

We had a great time with Joe and Asili Explorer. Safari was way beyond expectations. We've been able to discover the wildlife of Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro-Crater and Lake Manyara Nt. Park from "first row". Thanks a lot!

Unforgettable Safari
We were a group of five guys from Germany and planned to do a 5-day-Safari in Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro-Crater and Lake Manyara Nt. Park.
We chose Asili Explorer because of the good recommendations, his experience in doing safari and last but not least, the good price.
Accommodations:
We spent two nights at a lodge with a great view over lake manyara. It was great to see the sunrise from the view point and the nights were great in the typical african iglos.
The other nights were at campsites in Serengeti and at the Crater-rim of Ngorongoro wich was also a great experience.
The Safari:
Joe Kessy did a very good planning in advance, so everything went great and without any trouble. He speaks very good english, so communication was always great. Joe is very good connected to other drivers wich is a very important factor to get good and recent informations about where the animals are located.
The car was perfect for us. Big enough to be comfortable und to store our luggage. It has of course a pop-up-roof to watch the animals without something in between.
We were happy to see all the "big five" during our safari.
Food:
The cook, "Snoopy", was very funny and prepared good food. He also provided us lunch-boxes wich we ate on picnic places during the safari.
All in all it was a unforgettable safari-experience!

Great company to work with!
We had a wonderful time at the Mara, Serengeti, and Ngrongoro Crater. James M was an amazing guide! Raj was very good, too. Monica and Joyce in the office were great to work with. Our flights got messed up, and they were very helpful in rebooking our tour for us. Very good price, too. I checked with several other companies and this one was the best. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Outstanding Safari with Joe
We just concluded a safari organized by Joe and he did an awesome job at putting the whole thing together.
We were accompanied by Kaka Karim our guide who pointed us to all the animals along the way! We saw all the big five almost every day :D Had close encounters (like less than a meter!) with a pride of Lions, Elephants, Giraffes and Leopards!!!! We even managed to track down a Rhino and its baby and it tried to charge us! It was like being on a Nat Geo episode!
We also had SnoopDog (habib) the cook had delicious meals prepared for us all the time! Make sure you have him make you his beef stew with plantains! Amazing!
We were a group of 6 with very different schedules and plans (some went to do horseback riding etc...) but Joe juggled it all very well.
A great trip all in all and highly recommended!!!

Wonderful days in Serengeti, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro
The company is trustworthy. Joseph - the driver/ guide also the owner of the company was very well informed about animals, nature and he was very helpful, honest and competent guy and the most important very caring and friendly person. Thanks to him I discovered the beauty of Serengeti, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater. He was so patient and always stoped when I wanted to take pictures. He offered binoculars when animals where far and if I didn't know some animals he always described it with details and showed informations in his books. Thanks a lot Jo for wonderful safari time!
