This is a most amazing Lodge and the staff are awesome
We stayed in September 24 and the lodge is fantastic and the staff are really amazing. Sam and Confidence were awesome guides, Moses an amazing manager and Trinity a great front of house. The Chef cooked really great food throughout (sorry we can't recall her name).
Having an elephant come up the the lodge was stunning and thanks to Sam we got to see so much, including the big 5,
We're already planning another trip

A great experience - highly recommended!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Ku Sungula Safari Lodge. It was our first stop on our honeymoon in South Africa and what a start it was. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We were very lucky to see the Big 5 during our game drives with Moses who is a knowlegdeable guide and just great fun.
Make sure to ask about additional tours which they provide. We spent one night in Kruger Park with Max and also had a one day tour of the Panorama route.
They organised a surprise private dinner for our honeymoon, sitting outside on the patio and hearing the lions roar in the distance was magicial. We highly recommend Ku Sungula Safari Lodge and hopefully in the future will return for a new visit.

Four Days in Paradise
It is a pity that there are only five stars to rate our stay at the Ku Sungula Safari Lodge, because the lodge, the reserve and all we experienced was worth a lot more than that.
Paola is a well-travelled visitor of African reserves and lodges, from Kenya, Namibia, Tanzania and Botswana, while the four days we spent in the Kruger were my very best stay in an African lodge. We chose the Ku Sungula through Safaribookings becuase we liked the versatility of the portal and the description of the lodge. Still, I would have never expected the much we definitely found and the bonuses we enjoyed.
The whole process of inquiry and booking went smooth and easy. Yolanda, who then we met at the lodge, was just perfect in replying quickly to all my requests of information.
The great and extremely pleasant surprise came with the arrival to the lodge: friendly and caring staff, great attention to all services, the neat and cozy cottage they assigned to us, fantastic food served on immaculate tableclothes for breakfast and lunch, while watching elephants, zebras and giraffes grazing and walking right in front of our eyes. As well as a warm boma dinner time spent with the other guests of the lodge. All was as described and shown in the lodge's web site. Even a lot better than a picture or a blurb can describe.
And then the early morning and the night safari games with a brilliant Moses, as well as the great tracker (the best "eyes of Africa" in spotting wildlife, as Paola called him) sitting in front of the reliable and sturdy car.
We have been able to spot all Big Five and much, much more, mostly close to the car but always with a sense of safety given by the both driver and tracker. This has certainly been the most rewarding experience of the whole 4-week trip in South Africa and quite likely one of the very best travel experiences both Paola and I have made during these past twenty years spent together travelling across all continents.
A REAL paradise that unfortately lasted only four days. I wish I had previously decided to stay longer than that.
A special thank goes to fabulous Yolanda, who did a lot more than we would expect from a manager-in-residence. She offered us an unforgettable surprise candle-lit dinner for our anniversary that I had only brielfy mentioned to her. Yolanda also arranged for us a safari inside the Kruger NP with Bress, a nice, experienced and multi-skilled English lady who has resided here for over 15 years . Furthermore, Yolanda arranged for us the booking of one unplanned flight and drove us personally to Huidspruit airport. It is very hard to thank her properly.
We only hope to come back soon to Kruger and Ku Sungula, which we could certainly consider our wonderful home-away-from home.

Unforgettable Honeymoon
Our experience at the Ku Sungula Safari Lodge was truly a life-changing experience. From the moment we arrived at the reserve, I was blown away by the beauty and serenity of the surroundings.
The safari guides, especially Moses and Yanku, were extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the wildlife, making the entire experience even more enriching. They shared fascinating facts about the animals we encountered, their behaviors, and their natural habitats. It was evident that they genuinely cared about conservation and preserving the delicate balance of the ecosystem.
The highlight of the safari was undoubtedly the close encounters with the magnificent animals. We were lucky enough to witness a pride of lions with their cubs, a herd of elephants gracefully moving through the savannah, journey of giraffes, zebras, wild dogs, rhinos, hyenas and even a leopard. The thrill of seeing these creatures up close and in their natural habitat was indescribable, especially during the bush walk.
The accommodations provided during the safari were top-notch. The lodges were luxurious, yet blended seamlessly with the surrounding environment. Waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoying breathtaking views from our patio was a true treat. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that our every need was met. The food was varied and tasty.
One of the most memorable aspects of the safari was the opportunity to be involved in different activities and trips everyday. From the Panorama Route, to the Kruger National Park and the boat trip on the Blyde River. We explored most of the amenities of the Eastern South African side in 6 days!!
I would highly recommend Ku Sungula safari to anyone seeking a truly transformative and awe-inspiring experience.

Very beautiful and individual Game Drives
We have been visiting Ku Sungulu Safari in February during the heavy rains and still have been lucky to experience an unforgettable stay. They can offer the game drives to your preferences and help if you haven’t had safari experiences before. Accommodation and food was very nice
Shoutout to Yanko, Moxie, Clementine and Annabel for the great hospitality and kindness.

Amazing, once in a lifetime stay
We came from the US so it was hard managing all the plans, but the front office staff made it amazingly easy. Everyone was so accommodating and kind. The game drives were absolutely amazing. We took 2 teenagers who are still talking about this once in a lifetime trip. I cannot recommend this place enough.
