Amazing Experience
I highly recommend Sopai Safaris. Thanks to Patrik and Rajab. Everything went very well. and we had an amazing experience.
Rajab as our guide is very knowledgeable about wild animals, their behaviors and where to take good pictures of them. He is also very nice to talk with. If you have any question, just ask him. Patrik as our driver is also very professional, drives smoothly, even the road condition in May is not ideal.
Food, accommodation, airport pickup, everything else are all perfect and well organized. Nothing to worry. Absolutely recommend it!

It was incredible!
My experience was incredible!
Communication from the beginning was very easy with Sopai Safari, they responded very quickly and were very helpful and adaptable to my requests.
The day before the Safari, Rajab explained the entire itinerary personally, including the accommodation.
I did 4 days of Safari: Tarangine NP, Seregenti NP, Ndutu and Ngonrogoro. I had the opportunity to see the big 5!!
Over the 4 days, we had the opportunity to have lunch in the middle of the Serengeti and in Ndutu (and what an experience, I will never forget it!)
I was lucky to have Patrick as my driver and Raja as my guide, as they have immense experience in chasing and spotting animals. Furthermore, their sense of humor was an asset to me, it made the trip even better.
For me, having a hot lunch, instead of sandwiches, is something very relevant. The food was very good!
I believe it was the best option to choose Sopai to go on a Safari in Tanzania and I highly recommend it!

Reliable, flexible and courteous
"Embarking on a journey with SOPAI Safaris was nothing short of a dream come true for both my husband and me. Our first safari experience, set against the stunning backdrop of Tanzania, was genuinely overwhelming and exceeded all our expectations. From the initial booking stages with Rajab from SOPAI Safaris to our explorations with our tour guide, Vicent, every detail was orchestrated to perfection.
The accommodations provided were more than we could have hoped for – a seamless blend of comfort and authenticity, ensuring we were both cozily ensconced in luxury while being a mere whisper away from the untamed wild. The culinary experiences were equally remarkable, offering a delightful array of local and international flavors that catered wonderfully to our palates.
Venturing into the national parks, the true stars of our adventure, the animals, did not disappoint. Witnessing the raw and unfiltered moments of wildlife, from the majesty of roaming elephants to the quiet, potent prowls of big cats, was utterly surreal and profoundly moving.
Our tours were meticulously planned and executed, with Vicent ensuring not only our comfort and safety but also going above and beyond to provide insightful information, sharing stories of the land and its inhabitants that truly enriched our experience.
In summary, the journey with SOPAI was simply impeccable, elegantly combining thrilling adventures with serene moments of reflection amidst the boundless beauty of Tanzania. The memories crafted during our safari are indelibly imprinted in our hearts, and we are ever thankful to the SOPAI team for turning our dream safari into a splendid reality.
In a realm where the wild meets the tranquil, SOPAI Safaris stands out as a beacon of excellent and authentic safari experiences, and we can wholeheartedly recommend them to any traveler seeking to explore the spellbinding spectacles of Tanzania. Thank you, SOPAI, for gifting us memories that will be cherished for a lifetime."

Great timeless trip!
We did 7 days of safari in northern Tanzania. On arrival Rajab met us at the airport and took us to our hotel in Arusha. He explained to us the progress of the safari which began the next morning. The planned parks and lodges were great! We were very lucky and saw all the animals and also the wildebeest crossing at the Mara Mara river. Our guide Vincent was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We had however booked a French guide but unfortunately there was a last minute problem and we had an English guide.
We don't necessarily recommend visiting a Masai village, we didn't feel comfortable and it looked more like a tourist trap. Also, we would have preferred to fly back from the north of Serengenti Park than to have to go all the way back by car. Some journeys were therefore quite long and not always comfortable.
Rajab is responsive and does his best to satisfy our needs.
We have incredible memories of this trip!

Unforgettable experience with wonderful tour guide
My husband and I booked our 4-day safari at Sopai and it was honestly the best decision. Booking went very smoothly and Rajab answered all of our questions within shortest time (communication mainly via WhatsApp which made it so easy). From the beginning we felt in good hands. We told Rajab which places we would like to visit and the safari route was then planned according to our wishes.
Our route was the following:
1. Tarangire National Park
2. Ngorongoro Crater & Serengeti
3. Serengeti National Park
4. Lake Manyara
Sopai showed very high flexibility in terms of pick-up place and place for ending the tour.
Preparation:
Rajab gave us detailed information on the safari tour + accommodation options already prior to our arrival in Tanzania. When we finally arrived in our hotel in Arusha Rajab was already waiting for us to give us a warm welcome & a brief introduction. We were told once again about the route and about the exact lodge names.
Safari:
Our safari guide David made this experience so valuable and special and I‘m so happy that he shared his knowledge and so many stories with us on the road. He has an incredibly vast knowledge about the animals, landscape and in general about Tanzania. We had very interesting conversations and luckily we were able to see so many animals within these 4 days.
[We saw 2 leopards & one of them was completely visible in Lake Manyara National Park, how rare is that?!]. David really knows about his profession and handles everything very patiently. He has a very good eye for upcoming special moments with the animals and handles the traffics in the National Parks very smoothly.
David was very eager to fulfill our wishes and cared a lot about our well-being.
Lodges:
We stayed at The Farm of Dreams Lodge during the 1st and 3rd night. This lodge is built up like a little village with many luxury lodges. Really wonderful accommodation with very friendly service. They have a pool, bar and a restaurant where we had our breakfast and dinner.
For the 2nd night we stayed at Signature Seregenti in a tented camp which was really the best glamping experience I could have ever asked for. It is a huge tent with private washroom and shower area. Very welcoming team and just a great experience to be so close to the animals. You can hear the lions and hyanas in the night and in the evening when we went for dinner, the staff showed us a herd of zebras passing by. This was really breathtaking.
Both accommodations were very clean.
Food:
Both in the accommodations and during safari we were offered very delicious and healthy food with huge variety. During safari we always had our lunch at a picnic site in one of the national parks. It consisted always of a salad option, a veggie option and then a meat option + some carbs like pasta, rice, etc. In the accommodations the food was very good, too. It‘s usually an open buffet where you can get what you want. But here again, healthy & freshly cooked with lot‘s of veggie options so that everyone is happy.
Pricing:
Compared to other safari tour providers Sopai‘s price is very appropriate. The service, safety, accommodations and the food are completely worth the price.
All in all 10/10 experience. Sopai is very trustworthy and reliable and consists of a great team. If you are thinking about booking a safari, I would really recommend to go with Sopai. I would for sure choose them again.
Thanks again to Raj and David for making our journey so special and treating us so well.

10/10 experience
It was an amazing experience!
Preparation of the Safari: The communication with Rajab - while we were still in Germany - before the Tour started was extremely professional and quick. He responds within minutes and always had an answer to our questions. The booking process was easy, we could choose between several options for the national parks we wanted to see. He even arranged a Sim Card for our arrival.
Arrival in Arusha: the evening we arrived in our hotel Rajab was already there. He gave us a detailled briefing for the Safari. He double checked the National Parks we wanted to visit and the accomodations that go with it.
The Safari: No words can describe that experience! Rajab was already waiting in the hotel lobby in the Morning. He introduced us to our guide David. There was not a single boring moment during our 4 days Safari. David knows everything about the Parks and animals! He gave us detailled information and fun facts about the animals. He is experienced and has a perfect sense for finding animals. Because of that there were several moments of us being alone within metres of wild animals without other safari cars around. He is very client orientated and makes sure to find the perfect angle for you to take pictures (he is a hobby photographer so he knows which angles are needed). We saw all of the big 5 (plus many many other animals of course)! He even found a leopard on a tree very close to us in Lake Manyara National Park - very rare and an unforgettable moment! David always stays near a sighting until you are finished enjoying the moment. On the way between parks and lodges he shares funny and interesting stories, making sure there is no dull moment.
We took the route: Tarangire - Ngorogoro - Serengeti - Lake Manyara. We can recommend each park, as they are all very different from each other.
David made sure that we take a break whenever we needed one and the Lunch at the picknick sites always constisted of several options (also veggie) which were all really good! Also David is a safe driver who is willing to adjust to the client.
Accomodation: we had a 4 Day Safari. The first night we stayed at Farm of Dreams Lodge in Karatu. It is unbeliebably beatiful! The service is perfect and there is a special welcome service. If you are lucky you might see a Group performing local dances and songs. The rooms are luxurious and the food is delicious!
The second night we stayed at Signature Serengeti. It is a tented camp in the heart of the Serengeti. The tents look more like houses than tents, due to them being huge. The room is spacious and the bathroom as well. There is hot water and electricity available. At night you can hear lions roar and hiyanas sing, which makes for a great concert and an unforgettable experience! The crew makes sure that wild animals don't enter the camp. The food was very tasty and the crew always makes sure that you are well! And dont worry: there is running water and private washrooms with water toilets :)
The third night we stayed at Farm of Dreams again.
After the Safari: David made sure we leave on time to catch our flight from JRO airport. We met with Rajab on the way there who followed up and made sure everything was to our satisfaction.
All in all it the Safari was an amazing experience! The price was more than fair for a private tour which includes the safari, accomodations and 3 meals per day. There is also a fridge in the car which is filled with water and soda which is also included in the price.
Rajab, David and the crews at the lodges are professional and provide the best service you can imagine. If you plan to visit Tanzania for a Safari make sure to go with Sopai! 10/10 experience and special thanks to Rajab and David!
attention, detail, professionalism.
It was a unique experience. The guide Eli was very polite and professional. We saw a lot of animals and Eli the guide's explanations of the safari were even more interesting. The accommodation and food were also very good. Totally recommended and if you can choose, choose Eli as your guide.

Excellent small company that goes the extra mile -100% recommend
I can without reservation recommend Sopai Safaris .I communicated effectively with Rajab by email and WhatsApp before and during our trip .We did the fly in Safari to the Serengeti , Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire . The trip and our accommodation was organised well in advance We stayed in two Heritage Tented Camps and the Farm if Dream Lodge which was exceptional The food was good in all locations and we had hot meals on each day at lunch time which was lovely . Rajab met us the evening before our safari with personalised water bottles and most importantly because the migration was on when we were there had changed our accommodation for one of our nights in the Serengeti which meant we had the amazing experience of seeing the Wildebeest crossing the Mara River . Our driver Patrick was great , punctual knowledgeable about the animals and area and he coped with a puncture then a flat tyre with ease Be warned the roads are rough so you will be hot dusty and shaken around but you will have the most incredible experience . I would recommend taking the very best camera with the most powerful telephoto lens you can afford to get the most out of your trip . Very often the animals are close, sometimes very close but at others they are further away and a good camera to get detailed pictures is a good investment . Rajab met us after our safari to get our feedback which was without reservation positive .
