She kept us up-to-date with any changes necessary and was very forthcoming with price changes. Her love and knowledge of southern Africa and all of the beauty it has to offer was obvious! And once we were in Africa, she was ever available when we had questions. She even met us before we left and was there at the airport as we returned from the bush. A professional but more importantly, a lovely woman who runs a wonderful company! We feel it’s very helpful to have a travel agent living and working in southern Africa who understands the politics and weather issues that can arise should any last minute changes be necessary. She truly had our best interest, safety and joy in mind!

Each camp we stayed at was special in their own unique way. We particularly enjoyed our stay in the Kalahari at the first camp we visited. All of us were very impressed by the professionalism and heartfelt warmness of the camp staff at each location. The guides in Botswana and Zambia were most impressive with their knowledge of flora, fauna and habitat, and the safaris they conducted.

I went with Cross Country for a May 2017 trip to Zambia primarily because they were consistently over time the most responsive to my inquiries and their price was competitive. I wish they had stronger knowledge of camps at Kafue NP in Zambia to tell me that animal viewing in May would be better at a riverside camp than at Kanga Camp which is deep in the bush. They were understanding when I wired $200 less than I was supposed to as an oversight and agreed with my suggestion of providing that cash on arrival, which was flexibility I appreciated. I mainly just appreciated knowing that if I sent an email, I'd hear back quickly, even if an interim response.

It was the third time I booked with Cross Country Air Safaris. The service was as usual excellent. The staff is very experienced, knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. The company is flexible in adding my personal wishes and lives up to my expectations. Cross Country Air Safaris is my travel company for Southern Africa.

It was quite easy to get in contact if you need an reservation at a special place, restaurant and so on, but the best was the support during the planning of the tripp.
The lodges are very comfortable they recommend us. For me it was also very nice that we could communate in german language. Next time when I will visit this coutry again I also asked them for support-it was a pleasure.
