Terms and Condition
Accommodation
Based on two persons sharing a twin room. Single rooms are available at a supplementary rate and are subject to availability. Hotels, lodges and tented camps are named as an indication of category and rooms may be reserved at similar establishments.
Transportation
Depend on the number of participants and the route, buses, coaches, saloon cars, safari Land rover/cruisers four-wheel drive vehicle will be provided. In case of car break down the rescue vehicle will be supply as soon as possible. All driver-guides speak English and some are multilingual. The right is reserved to employ sub- contractors.
Tour price
The tour price includes all expenses connection with ground transportation for the specified itineraries; all park entry fees, lodges, accommodations and camping on safaris, excursion trips as applicable.
Tour price does not include: Items of personal nature such as; laundry, personal insurance, telephone calls, airline tickets, entry visas, airport departure tax and driver-guide tips (Highly recommended)
Booking conditions and Cancellation
Booking is considered confirmed upon receipt of 20% deposit for camping safari or 50% for lodge safari or hotel reservations, on our bank account. Only the amount actually arrived on our bank account shall be considered as paid (money transfer costs are to be paid for by the client). The remaining balance must be paid in cash before start of your safaris.
Cancellation charges
In case of cancellations, the following charges apply:
a) More than 2 months before start of the itinerary: 25%
b) Less than 2 month before start of the itinerary: 50%
c) Less than 2 weeks before start of itinerary: 100%
The above are minimum charges. All cost already done by Bush Routes Adventures must be covered in full.
Alteration
We reserve the right to alter arrangements or cancel the operation of a schedule should it be necessary for reasons beyond our control. It is essential to understand that in Africa, local conditions are not always predictable and such occurrences as border closure, poor road conditions etc. can and do from time to time cause delays, frustrations and diversions from the planned route. We will do our best to minimize inconveniences but cannot accept responsibility for matters which are clearly beyond our control. The company also reserves the right to accept or retain any person as a member of any expedition at any time, in which case an equitable amount will be refunded.
Late booking
No hotel or lodge reservation will be done before receipt of a down payment. In case of late bookings, it is possible that by the time a down payment is received; one or more hotels/lodges might be full booked. We then try to find a room in another hotel or lodge. The price of the itinerary will be adjusted accordingly.
Liability
The Company and its agents act only as agents of the passengers in all matters relating to hotel accommodations, tours, transport etc. and shall not be liable for injury, delays, loss or damage in any manner. The company's liability to passengers carried in its own vehicles is governed by the laws of the country in which the safari takes place and no other country. All claims are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the country in which the action arises. The company reserves the right to employ sub-contractors for all or part of the services. In the event of such right the terms of this will apply. Whilst ever care is taken, the company cannot be held responsible for lost or damage to baggage. Baggage and other insurance are therefore strongly to clients against risk.
Complaints
If you have cause to complain whilst on holiday you must bring it to the attention of the guide or other local representative who will do their best to rectify the situation. It is unreasonable to take no action whilst on holiday and to complain upon return.
Rate
All rates are based on cost prevailing at the time publication on the price list and are subject to change without notice.
