Please kindly note:
For a confirmed booking we will require a deposit of 50 %.
The balance must be paid 30 days prior to arrival. For bookings made within 30
days prior to arrival full payment is required to confirm the booking.
Please note that bank transfer charges are NOT for Makoa-Farm
If the cancellation will be made prior 8 to 4 weeks before arriving, 50 % of the
deposit will be refunded, by cancellation 2 to 4 weeks 50 % of the quoted
booking price will be refunded. Less than 2 weeks no refund.
Child policy: We will only take riders from over 14 years on our horseback safaris,
for the farm-riding-vacation we might accept younger riders. They must
be accompanied by a parent or their guardian. In exemptions we might take
riders below our minimum age requirements on horseback-safaris, depending on
size, fitness and riding abilities. There is no reduced rate, the rate will be the
same as for adults.
For any booking we will require riders details according to the questionnaire in
the information sheet. Further please provide us with a copy of a medical
insurance/flying doctors-membership details.
Liability: Makoa Farm does not, and will not accept any responsibility for any
accident or incident of any nature involving clients/guests and/or staff who are at
the property or whilst traveling to of from any properties or partaking in any
activity arranged by, associated with or owned by Makoa-Farm.
Any claims will be governed by Tanzanian law and can be submitted to the
jurisdiction of the Tanzanian courts only.
Rates, terms and conditions are subject to change without notice and in the
event of a change on government taxes, levies, concession/wildlife/community
fees, Makoa-Farm reserves the right to pass on any increase.
