Marianne Birrell, founder of MB Safaris.
Marianne is a South African ex-teacher, journalist and public affairs practitioner. Amid all of this, she took a sabbatical in the Sabi Sand Reserve, working at one of the pioneer safari lodges. After 15 years of safari travel and research, a small, personalised safari planning company was created, to put her research to good use. She works closely with two associates who are experts in their own fields: east Africa and the Cape winelands. The safari trio is here, ready with safari advice.
