We are registered Company under the laws of Tanzania and accepts your bookings under the following terms and conditions.
To secure place, 10% down payment is required to make in advance as per the company policy.
Rest of the payment is due 60 days before the trip departure date. Be mindful, we also reserve the right to cancel your trip provided full amount is not paid in time.
We accept your last minute booking (30 days prior to tour departure date), but full payment of total tour cost should be made in advance. Final payments can be made via bank transfer or in cash upon arrival (USD). Please note US dollar notes printed prior to 2001 are not accepted anywhere in Tanzania.

Any bank charges levied are to be paid by the contracting party. Please be aware that if transfers are made via a National banking system, additional fees may be deducted as the payment passes through into the international banking system. You will receive notification by email of the actual amount received and we will invoice you for any deficit
No refund is made for 10% deposit amount in case of delay arrival, no show or cancellation of trip for any other else reason.
Having paid full amount of any trip, you are entitled to incur refund in case if you want to cancel your trip. Still, cancellation charge is invoiced to you. Written notification of your cancellation should be made to cancel any trip. Nevertheless, you are imposed cancellation charge as advised below: -
90 - 60 days or more deposit retained
59 - 45 days before departure 50%
44 - 30 days before departure 75%
29 - 01 days before departure 100%
We reserve the right to revise pricing rate posted at our website, under any circumstances, or on the pressure of various external factors that are further than our control, for instance changes in exchange rate, government action etc. But, we put forth effort to keep on the present rate.
If Geographic Safaris cancels your trip due to unforeseen circumstances like weather and Pandemics etc. We would be happy to refer you alternative trip of a similar standard. Even if this doesn't fit your personal interest, all monies paid by you to our company will be refunded. But remember, any other expenses incurred by you as a result of this booking are entirely your responsibility.
A tour / trek guide who represents Geographic Safaris deserves all authority during your tours. If you commit any unlawful act, you are compelled to leave the tour. No refund will be made in such case.
On our holidays tour / trek packages, rooms or tents are provided in twin sharing basis. However, if you do not want to share room or tent with another person and want us to arrange you a single room or tent, you should be ready to bear the extra cost as single supplementary.
Geographic Safaris acts only as an agent for the client in all matters relating to tours and accepts no responsibility for personal illness, injury, accident, death, delay, any kind of loss, damage or irregularity which may be occasioned by reason of any act or omission beyond its control, including without limitation, any act of negligence or breach of contract of a third party, such as a hotel or airline which supply any good or services for business.
The laws of the United Republic of Tanzania shall govern the relationship between Geographic safaris and the Operator / Travel Agent / client and the Courts of Tanzania. The courts of the United Republic of Tanzania shall have sole jurisdiction, in respect of any claims and / or disputes of whatsoever nature, which may arise between Geographic Safaris and the Agents or clients.
