A Wonderful Safari – Yasin, the Best Driver and Travel Companion Ever
We are coming to the end of our 6-day safari in Kenya with Axis Agency, which turned out to be a wonderful discovery. When choosing an agency for such an important experience, doubts are inevitable and uncertainty is high. We were also undecided, especially between a private or a group tour, and in the end we chose the group tour: an absolutely winning decision.

But what truly made this safari unforgettable was above all our driver and guide, Yasin. With great professionalism, sensitivity, and extraordinary intuition, he guided us through the savannah, allowing us to fully experience every single moment. Thanks to him, we managed to see all of the Big Five, and much, much more.
Yasin is not only an excellent driver, but also a very friendly, engaging person who is genuinely eager to give his guests a unique experience. Always attentive, helpful, and passionate, he was much more than a guide: a true travel companion. We could not have wished for anything better!
During the safari we visited Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Amboseli: three extraordinary parks, each with completely different characteristics. Masai Mara took our breath away with its vastness and rich wildlife; Lake Nakuru impressed us with its evocative landscapes and variety of animals; Amboseli enchanted us with the iconic view of Mount Kilimanjaro and its unique atmosphere. Each of these places gave us deep emotions and memories that we will carry with us forever.
Another strong point was the lodges, selected with great care by Axis Agency. All the accommodations turned out to be very good: clean, comfortable, and with extremely kind and sociable staff. Some lodges were located inside the parks, others just outside, but always only a few minutes away, allowing us to optimize travel time without losing anything during transfers.
A wonderful experience from every point of view, which we recommend without any hesitation.

The organization was great, punctual pick up from the hotel and good introduction at the office. The camp (option 2) was also amazing and the whole trip had excellent value for money with a longer than expected game drive on the first day, good food and a nice and comfortable land cruiser. The tour itself was also successful as we got to see all animals and our guide got us to the best spots. Howe ... Read morever, we would have liked to hear a bit more from him about the animals/environment. He was on the phone and/or radio a lot which we assume he did to hear about other animal locations but often it felt like just random conversations and chatting to friends. When on the phone it also didn’t feel like he was looking out for animals that much, sometimes we had to spot them and tell him for him to notice. Also, when being with animals it would have been nice to turn radio and phone off to be in the moment and tell us guests a little bit about the animals. We always had to ask if we wanted to know something which felt a bit weird, especially with him being on the phone a lot. Generally, some more communication with us guests would have been nice, to hear about what the plan is, where we are going next and so on. On the second day for example we went back to the camp earlier than expected without knowing that we were heading back. Turns out this was the plan from the beginning since we started very early and that concluded the full day game drive but it would just have been nice to know that beforehand because we ended up being a bit surprised. Just a bit more engagement with the guests in general would be beneficial I think! To conclude, these are all minor issues and we still had an amazing time and can definitely recommend going with Axis!

We were very satisfied with our safari experience. Since we had lunch on the way, we went straight to the game drive. We saw many animals already on the first evening. The accommodation was in rather simple tents, but everything we needed was provided. Our driver, Sadam, was very helpful.

I had a great experience with Axis Africa Expeditions & Safaris. I would to add that our driver/guide Sadam did his best and showed us everything in the park. Sadly, we haven’t found rhinos, but that wasn’t his fault. We always had perfect spots for photos and overall
