Very efficient, very friendly and good communicator
The tour was excellent value for money, everything went smoothly. We saw so many animals, it exceeded my expectations. Every day was special! I can really recommend Axis Safaris and our guide Peter Kapino was the best!
Amazing experience
We loved our safari with this agency. Thabitha has followed us during the booking and she’s very well prepared; she is available every time you need. Our guide Khalifa made this experience the best in our life. He knows where to find animals, even the special ones, who love hiding. He knows everything about the park, the animals anche their stories. He’s the best!

Peter Kapino was an excellent safari guide. He was knowledgeable, professional, and always made sure we had the best wildlife viewing opportunities. His experience and keen eye helped us spot many animals, and he was patient in answering all our questions. He made our safari enjoyable, safe, and memorable. Highly recommended!

Engaged and knowledgeable
The experience was great! The food and accommodation were excellent and unique. The drives in Maasai Mara were splendid and our guide was very considerate of our wants and needs. The only drawback I felt was the off-road driving. It seems to be clear that such activity is strictly forbidden in the park, but most of the drivers seemed to disregard the rule in favour of “enhancing” the experienc ... I booked a private day trip to Ol Pejeta with Axis Safari and the experience was incredible. Thanks to Maurine who helped us in booking the trip and setting out the itinerary and our guide Collin. He did a wonderful job. He picked us early in the morning and gave us so much insight about Kenya during the entirety of the trip. We were able to spot a pride of Lions walking right across infront of us along with Rhinos and other animals. It was a great trip overall. We had flights the same evening and Collin had to get us back to the city on time. He skipped his lunch for us to enjoy our trip as well as return back to the city to catch our flight on time. There was some protest in the town we were at and Collin found way to get us out of the town so we would be in the airport on time. Very fun seeing the animals and very nice guide. Very sad to see so many of the safari cars drive off road, horrible. Informative and great trip!
Good as a whole
Tour was good, we saw lots of animals. Did not like the off road driving, it has a detrimental affect on the environment.
He was friendly and knowledgeable, and went all out to help us see the animals!
We had a GREAT experience with Axis. We are a family of six (kids age 8,9,11,18) and went with another family of six. We chose their most basic package and it was no frills, but was great for our needs!
Communication was great prior to booking and arriving. We were nervous to spend so much money when we’ve heard of people getting scammed. Axis only required $100 deposit and then we paid the ... Read morerest when we arrived in Kenya. This gave us a lot of peace of mind.
We were pick up was prompt and the travel was good. We were picked up in the safari vehicles.
Our lodging was basic, but comfortable. We chose the “glamping experience.” The tents were clean and had what we needed. They ran the generator from
5:30am to 7 and then from 7pm to 10pm. It was the perfect time for getting ready and going to bed, and gave us time to charge our devices.
The hospitality at our camp was awesome! The food was basic (rice, noodles, lentils, etc) but was filling and deliciously seasoned.
The drivers were great, friendly with the kids, and quick to share extra information about the animals and habitat. They went all out to get us good views of the animals!
The value of our safari made it possible for our large family on a budget!
Overall would 100% recommend this company!
