In our opinion, 3 days in the Masai Mara and 2 days in Nakuru would have been perfect!
Overall, it was an unforgettable experience, and we will cherish the memories of this safari for a long time.
Great adventure
It was a wonderful safari experience. Our guide Leroy was amazing, daring, adventurous and yet puncture, professional. Everyday a different excitement.
From Masai Masa, to the crescent island was great. A lot of wildlife.
We had 4/5 big 5 with uncountable zebras/ giraffes.
One of the downside: maybe the crescent island trip price can be included into the tour price.

One small area for improvement would be to inform guests in advance about the approximate amount of cash they should carry. We were aware that we would need to pay for certain things, but we ended up needing additional cash for some extras that we hadn’t anticipated. Of course, we were completely fine with paying for the extras, but we had to make an additional stop during the safari to collect cash, which was a little inconvenient and took away some time from the experience. A clear estimate of the expected cash requirements beforehand would make the trip even smoother.
Overall, we had a great experience with Axis Africa Safari, and the professionalism, punctuality, and excellent planning of our driver really stood out. Thank you for a memorable safari experience! 🦁🐘🦒

We visited Masai Mara and Amboseli for a 6-day safari. It was an incredible experience overall, especially Masai Mara. Tony our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and managed to show us every single animal we wanted to see. He intentionally used routes that were not crowded with other safari jeeps that made the experience feel very personalized. He could spot the animals (including all five of ... We got amazing pictures of lions, cheetahs, giraffes, etc. with multiple instances of predators with their kills and playing with their cubs.

Tony made our three-day safari absolutely unforgettable. We had an open-air jeep, which gave us amazing unobstructed views for every game drive, and Tony's knowledge of the area was next-level. He tracked rhino footprints to find one for us, which really showed his skill and dedication.

Efficient and easy to communicate with Tabitha
I joined a 5 day safari with Khalifa as the guide. I had no issues being a single female traveller.
Our day in Masai Mara was an absolute hilite. Khalifa (Captain) knew the park intimately. He located 4 of the Big Five on that day and we enjoyed special sightings, sometimes being the only vehicle present.

A visit to a Masai village was very genuine and showed us a different perspective on life.
Accommodation was good and the food also fresh and plentiful.
There was a lot of road travel involved and perhaps on the last 2 days we could have added something extra. However, saying that, our long days went very quickly.
The office staff (Tabitha in particular) was very pleasant to deal with.
I would definitely recommend Axis Africa Safaris and Khalifa, in particular, if you choose to visit Kenya.
