Excelent 2 days of safari
It was an incredible experience from start to finish! Our guide, Kelvin, did everything possible to make sure we could see as many animals as possible. He was kind, funny and very knowledgeable, and he shared lots of interesting facts and curiosities about the animals throughout the safari.
After each adventure, we arrived at beautiful, safe and comfortable places to rest, with delicious dinner ... Read mores and great breakfasts. They also provided us with bottled water constantly and took care of absolutely everything, so we could simply relax and enjoy the experience.
I 100% recommend this company, and especially our guide KELVIN! He made the experience even more special.

From my initial enquiries to the final day of the trip, everything was smooth and well organised. Read more Our group had the pleasure of having Mohamed as our guide, and he was truly fantastic. His knowledge and enthusiasm made the whole trip unforgettable. We saw the Big Five, and during the long drives he not only answered our questions but also told us about life in Kenya, local traditions, the people and family life. These conversations made the experience feel much more personal. His communication throughout the safari was excellent: we always knew where we were going, what we would be doing and what time we would be picked up the next day. From day one, he tried to remember everyone's names, which was a lovely touch. He also warned us before moving the car to get a different view of the animals, helping everyone avoid injury. These may seem like small details, but they showed how much he cared about giving guests the best possible experience. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe and well looked after throughout the trip.
It is also worth noting that, with a joining safari, the group can change after the third or fourth day. My fellow travellers and I had not realised this beforehand. For the final part of my tour in Amboseli, I joined another group, with John as our guide. He was also knowledgeable and brought us back to Nairobi safe and sound.
I had an amazing time in Kenya. I met so many lovely people and saw countless incredible animals. Seeing them in their natural habitat for the very first time was truly special, and the sunset in the Masai Mara was unforgettable. -Lake naivasha boat not included: what’s the point of including lake if need to pay extra? note: they’re transparent about this.

Tsavo East with Hassan
A very well organised safari game in Tsavo East with a special guide and really safe driver (Hassan) although the road is a in an awful condition. He has a so safety way to drive that we slept during the long distances.
Hassan is a well knowing of all about animals, history, typical traditions, etc, it was a pleasure talk with him about Kenya and its curiosities.

We could see a lot of antelopes, lionesses, crocodiles, hippos, ostriches, zebras, elephants…
The lodge chosen by Axis was one of the best place where you could dream to stay some nights: above a river when usually the animals come to drink, so you can see them from the terrace of your accommodation. It isn’t touristic but all well blinded in the nature.
The price is high but if you reflect a minute about transportation, fuel, parks fee, accommodation, all meals included, the kindness of our guide, the safety sensation, the knowledge of the guide, and going on, is absolutely well-balanced and honest. Definitely, we recommend Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris.
A perfect safari
For my first trip to Africa, I chose a classic 5-day safari with 2 days in the Masai Mara, followed by Nakuru, Naivasha, and Hell's Gate.
A huge thank you to our amazing driver, Jacob, who drove and guided us perfectly. He's incredible; he knows every nook and cranny of every park and does his utmost to spot the Big Five! The safari was well-organized overall, but be warned, the days are long.

This safari was amazing! I’m honestly at a loss for words when it comes to the Masai Mara — it’s definitely a must-do when visiting Kenya.

However, we would have appreciated it if the agency had been more specific and transparent about Amboseli National Park. They should have given us more ... Read moreinformation beforehand so that we could have made a more informed choice. Had we known, we would have skipped Amboseli and opted for a 4–5 day safari instead.
In our opinion, 3 days in the Masai Mara and 2 days in Nakuru would have been perfect!
Overall, it was an unforgettable experience, and we will cherish the memories of this safari for a long time.
