We don’t get chance to holiday together very often so it was good to spend time in the beautiful lodges aswell as in game drives. We saw some incredible sights, lions, leopard, cheetah, elephants, rhinos and many more. Seemed like Sir Charles had a secret knowledge of where to go because we always ended up at the right place at right time!! I was pleasantly surprised by how the tour was organised. All facilities were very very decent for a budget safari, food was plentiful and tasty.

Booking process was fast and easy. Service was excellent, we were picked up on time and on trip was a success we saw so many amimals. Our Safari driver took his time especially when we wanted photos etc I would totally recommend Axis Safaris.

John was also always on time picking us up and dropping us off to the lodge. I also loved our vehicle which had 7 of us in it but you didn't feel crowded, we all sat in the vehicle comfortably. Only thing that could of been better was the food, maybe a change of menu instead of serving the same thing daily. But the overall Safari was excellent and we will definitely book with Axis Africa Safaris on the next trip. Anyone going on a Safari in Kenya go with these guys and if you can ask for John Gichuhi to be your guide.

From the first moment we felt in good and competent hands to tackle the hike at 4985m to the Lenana Peak of Mount Kenya - especially the altitude was a challenge for us. The safari lasted 3 days and 2 nights, with accommodation in a tented camp close to the park. The camp was clean with all essential services (including in-tent toilets) and the staff ensured a welcoming environment, including prompt availability to accommodate any dietary needs.
Our Safari guide, Joshuar, was a great driver and game-spotter! He provided thorough insights into animals’ behavior and he was able to scout the park’s residents in the most unexpected locations. We had 3 game drives (one evening, one full day, and one early morning drive) and he ensured we had an extensive view of the animals, driving as close as possible while respecting their space. He was readily available to answer our questions and he sorted all organizational aspects for us.
I strongly recommend this provider and this tour to anyone travelling to Kenya – whether solo, with friends or even with family!
