His sharp eye and deep understanding of animal behavior meant we didn’t just “see” the animals, we truly experienced the parks. He knew the best spots, the right timing, and always managed to position us perfectly for photos without ever making the experience feel rushed.
What stood out most about Khalifa was his passion, he clearly loves what he does, and that energy made every game drive feel magical. He was patient, enthusiastic when something exciting happened, and thoughtful in making sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment, he also made many recommendations on how to make our trip better, and he even taught us some Swahili. If you’re booking with Axis Africa, I can’t recommend Khalifa enough as your guide, he turned a great trip into an unforgettable one.
The company also gave us a wonderful selection of hotels for us, each one comfortable and welcoming. We loved the flow of the trip too, starting in Amboseli, moving on to Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha, and finishing with the unforgettable Masai Mara.

Our guide Ken was absolutely exceptional. His knowledge of wildlife behavior and the ecosystem was remarkable, and his enthusiasm was infectious. Ken had an incredible eye for spotting animals and knew exactly where to position us for the best viewing and photography opportunities. His professionalism and genuine passion for wildlife made each game drive educational and exciting.
We had extraordinary luck with wildlife sightings. Not only did we see all of the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino), but we also encountered the Ugly Five (warthog, vulture, wildebeest, marabou stork, and hyena), which was unexpectedly entertaining and educational.
The add-on experiences were fantastic. The boat safari offered a completely different perspective on wildlife, especially the hippos and eagles. Biking through Hell's Gate National Park was an adventure highlight - being able to get so close to zebras and giraffes on foot was unforgettable.
Every aspect of the trip was well-organized, from accommodations to meals to transportation. The attention to detail and commitment to delivering an authentic safari experience was evident throughout. We also enjoyed the hotels Jumbo Mara Safari Lodge, Sarova Woodlands Nakuru and Lake Naivasha Resort.
I would absolutely recommend this safari to anyone considering a Kenya adventure. The combination of professional service, exceptional guiding, and incredible wildlife encounters made this a truly memorable trip

The trip with Peter kapino was the best. We watched the Big Five in one day and even saw the lion hunting scene. It was fantastic. It was an unforgettable day. I highly recommend this tour!!!!!!
