We booked a budget safari with Axis for our 5 persons family. We were guided and driven by Denis in an old Toyota (didn't buy an upgrade to jeep). The mastery with which Denis drove the car was really appreciable. Read moregh without even losing control like other cars. Impressive! We felt safe while driving on roads too. If you've never been to Kenya then you don't know what sort of horror is on its roads...
Denis was not too talkative but always very informative (and when I compered i formation from him to other guides' info, I could see it was reliable). We made a nice team together- he always listened to us when we wanted eg. stop for buying fruits.
And, the most important: we saw the big 5 and lots of other animals! It's amazing! Only the rhinoceros was not visible in Masai Mara, but our trip included lake Nakuru and there was a family of them that we observed rhinos as well as flamingos but these were not millions (maybe the wrong season?).
Overall great safari and finished with a trip to Masai village, which (after spending some time by the fire camp (Sidai Mara camping) with some of Masai) was a very nice surprise (not initially included in the trip).
Everyone from us was happy (even the teenager!!?)

Our 8 days safari was just perfect! Big 5 and other interesting, sometimes rare animals.
Our guide John was helpful and made this trip unforgettable.

I booked 3 days safari trip with Lennox and guide Evans. Everything was as planned .
Axis picks you up from your hotel / aprt wherever it is (the point is most of other agencies picks you up only from CBD). Next 6 hours
you are enjoying breathtaking kenyan views with quick stop at Great Rift Valley. At around 3pm you arrive at the camp / lodge.

You take your time , get some coffee and at 4 - 4:30 it is 3 hours game drives. Next day is all about game drives with picnic lunch in the middle of the day.
What about the bush?! It is just wonderful, amazing experience that everyone should try. You don't even feel yourself there, it is parallel reality :-)
Evans is just a perfect driver , considering bumpy bush roads he is truly the best ( ! )
The last day is scheduled for Maasai village (10 $, not included in the price). At around 9 am you get back to Nairobi.

I enjoyed my trip on Mount Kenya as it went smooth and without any challenges. Transfers were all on time, guide was professional and attentive, food selection was wide to the extent that I was never able to finish a meal.

And of course spectacular views from the top included.
