Payment
Upto 12 pax a total Net cost of tour is required on the start day of each confirmed safari
Above 12 pax a a total Net cost of tour is required 30 days before start of each confirmed safari and Arlom safaris will not be liable for any bank transfer charges whatsoever.
Cancellation of services by “Client”
Any cancellation notice up to 7 days prior to departure of tour arrangements the payment will be refunded less a nominal charge. Cancellation less than 7 days will attract varying charges up to a maximum of 50% of the total cost.
Cancellation of services by “Arlom Safaris"
Any cancellation done by Arlom Safaris, the client will be given a full refund of total cost of tour or alternative services of comparable standards.
Accommodation
Most of the accommodation booked is based on double or single occupancy. Single occupancy can not always be guaranteed due to limited space. In case accommodation fails to provide single occupancy despite payment of supplement, the applicable amount is refundable. Accommodation on safari range from modern hotels, lodges and tented camps, resorts, villas and normal campsites. Most of them have private baths, swimming pools, restaurant and bars.
Booking and Re-Routing:
All bookings made by you will be handled with urgency and itineraries provided are strictly adhered to but we reserve the right to make alterations due to bad weather such as heavy rains, road constructions, high season congestion and any other natural calamity that may cause delay such as weather conditions, road blocks etc. this will not be the liability of Arlom Safaris.
Insurance:
We strongly recommend our clients to protect themselves with a short-term traveler's insurance policy to cover baggage loss, health, accident, medical emergencies and unexpected trip cancellation. However our clients will be covered with Flying Doctors emergency evacuation cover in case of emergency situations while on safari.
In case of an accident while on safari, the traffic police unit is involved for investigation, and in case of drivers fault or the other party fault, insurance takes over after completion of investigation and individuals insurance takes care of this until investigation is completed and compensation can be followed afterwards.
Liability
"Arlom Safaris" and its business partners act only as agents of the client in all matters relating to transportation, transfers, accommodation, sightseeing, excursions, tours and safaris. The company cannot accept any responsibility for default whether negligent or otherwise on the part of any of the services or accommodation with which the booking is made or which clients arrange themselves, nor it is not liable for clients additional expenses occasioned by their delay, alterations of travel services, sickness, injuries or as a result of weather, civil disturbance whatsoever interfering with, interrupting, altering or adding to the cost of services, excursions or tours applied for and booked.
The company's liability to passengers carried in vehicles as used for transfers, excursions and tours is governed by the laws of Kenya, Zanzibar and Tanzania all claims are subject only to the courts of the nations concerned.
The company reserves the right to employ sub-contractors and in the event to such exercise of such right the terms of above clause relating to the Company's liability shall apply.
Whilst every care is taken the Company shall not be responsible for loss or damage to personal property and it is advisable to arrange relevant insurance.
Valuables
Please keep your valuables with you at all times or use the Safety deposit facilities available at most accommodations at minimal charges.
Baggage
A piece of baggage including the hand luggage per person is recommended while on safari as most of the tour buses/aircraft have limited space. It is advisable to leave any excess baggage behind with us or your base hotel or lodge until the end of your tour. We provide free transport of excess baggage to your base hotel before departing on safari.
Transportation and Vehicle Equipments
All our transport are based on safari minibus while in Kenya and Land Cruiser 4x4 while in Tanzania safaris and all designed for the country terrain and tourist services. Our safari vehicles are converted into custom-built pop-up roof to enable visitors to view wildlife better. Other basic equipments include thickly-cushioned individual seats. 2 way VHF radios, cool box, bottled water, field guides, binoculars, first aid kit, blanket, spare wheel, shovel and other amenities for comfort and safety. All our safari guides are well experienced, knowledgeable, and licensed to carry tourists while in East Africa.
Child Policy
Below 2 years old – no charge on accommodation and transport
2- 12 yrs – charged 50% accommodation when sharing room with 1 or 2 adults and charged 80% adult per person rate when having exclusive use of room.

We strongly guarantee prices on all confirmed services and below are the terms
Includes
• Meet and greet services including arrival and departure transfers to and from hotel or airport
• All transport and game drives on road safaris will be in a Minibus (with 6 guaranteed window seats) with a German speaking safari-guide on shared basis
• All Meals and accommodation as specified on the itinerary
• Flying Doctors Service (Air Ambulance insurance)
• All park fees and government taxes
• 1litre bottled mineral water per person per day on game drives
Excludes
• Visas and international flights
• Airport taxes (clients pay direct)
• Safari-guide gratuities and tips
• Drinks and Beverages, Dining rooms tips and porter age
• Personal travel, baggage and medical insurance
• Telephone bill, laundry and any items of a personal nature
